I am looking to purchase a new vaporizer, I would like to spend around $100. I have a Pax by Ploom and a Vapiir No2. I also have a cheap hot box, but I did not care for that one. Portable or desktop would be fine, just looking for something with good vapor quality, something that is a pleasure to use.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
For portable your best bet is probably the Arizer Solo. It can be found for a little over the 100 mark. Also, a Vaporgenie is a good one too if you're not afraid of a lighter based vape.

For desktop, a lot of people like Vapolution 2.0. Also, the Daisy vape is getting some good reviews as well.

Welcome to the site! Feel free to ask any questions! A lot of knowledge on this site.

Thanks for the reply, and I am glad to have joined the site because fc! Where do you find the Solo for a little over the 100 mark?

I'd say most of the posts are of used vaporizers but you might be able to find a new one. In all honesty I'll take a used vape in good condition over a brand new one if it will save me some money. (If it's just like $15 more for a new solo, I'd probably just get the new one though)

Or does the classifieds have new models for sale at that price?
The Classified section is mostly people selling their unwanted vapes. It's a service for established members, not a place to find new vapes.

Best AC model at the $100 price point IMO is the Vapolution 2.0. All glass vapor path and it's 12V for easier use outside the home.

My buddy has a FlowerMate V5s, said it was around 110$
It's the V5.0 - and available for almost half that much on dhgate.com. Nice inexpensive model but since you have two portables already, I don't see the point. I'd be in the market for an AC unit myself.

Do you have the Vapolution?

The Lotus is just a little over your price range, and it's a lot of fun to use, especially with a water tool

I have the original Vapo (pretty much the same model). I used it as my daily driver for a couple of years. It does take some practice for good bowl loading and finding the temp you like, but for a bill it's a steal.
I would suggest checking the classifieds for a used Underdog log vape.
From the rules page- If you would like to direct a member to a classified ad please use the private conversation system.

If you wanna mix things up I'd go with an analog vape since you already have a home and portable unit. I'd recommend the lotus, vapman, hammer, or vaporgenie.

Almost there...
Solo going for $160 on PV at the moment.
I think there is also a discount code for FC members, so go check out their respective threads and see what kind of deal you get!
I have always saved some money this way and am very thankful for their offers!

Why 100USD? Money constraints or you don't want to spend more than that? I'm asking because the 100-150USD range is a better balance between money spent and vapor experience, especially if you find a good deal in the classifieds.

If you don't mind flame based models, i suggest looking at the Lotus and the Vapman. I have migrated from battery portables to flame portables since i prefer the better autonomy the lighter brings. Also, the transition was happening as my technique and knowledge of a proper extraction developed.

If you prefer battery powered units, the Solo is still my option since it is IMO the best cost/benefit option.
I tend to prefer convection based vaporizers, as opposed to conduction based vaporizers like the PAX because of the prolonged taste and diminished losses compared to conduction units.
You can also check the Firewood.

As for AC models, the Vapolution would be my choice for your price range, or a used log that sometimes sell at ~120USD.

I would also look into the Hammer since it is a cross between a log vape and a flame based unit IMO, with good extraction and taste.
