Totally agree! I just said 12 to be conservative and keep on the safe side hahahahaha. Hard to keep count!!
15 decent clouds would be about right.
Ummmm I wouldn't say loose, I fill it up with the tool to the instructed fill point (maybe a tad more) then putting that little clear cap back into place, I get a very slight bit of resistance in the last 20% (not strong resistance but just enough so that you can feel some resistance).
I do maybe 10 draws on 180c then the final 4 or so on boosted until there is no smoke left.
Grind? ... I will have to get back to you... I used half with my MFLB finishing grinder and half with my crafty supplied grinder, so it was mixed consistency. But if anything majority probably on the finer side.
I'm just scared about using the MFLB finishing grinder in case ultra fine debris falls through the bottom screen.
Next weekend I will do one with MFLB finishing grinder and one with stock crafty grinder. And write down draw count and report back.

Just to confirm if using it in pass-through mode adds any extra power, crafty plugged in to a power source takes 2:02 to reach 410f. Does a plugged in mighty take a minute or less?
On a completely unrelated note the beige gasket sitting on top of the bowl appears to be made from PEEK, things you may love about PEEK,

Extreme Q mini whip works great right out of the box to use 18mm pieces, the airflow is better than the evo I find, on par with the og ticker. It's easily my favorite vape ever, desktop or portable. Also tried concentrates earlier (not pictured here) and it just keeps going forever...I wanted it to stop...but it wouldn't. Very good flavor all the way through with oil.

Who's got the most 'hours of operation' so far? I'm at 6 hours after 4 days.
What do you guys think the max will be before the battery dies, at this rate two years it would be over 700 hours?
It's cool bieng able to see, it would be hard estimating the HofO on my year old trusty solo.

I'm glad I'm not shopping for a new portable, it would be very hard to decide between this and the smartvape. I kinda wish this one had a black-anodized aluminum body, then the heat sink-style fins would make more functional sense. Even though the esv has its own set of issues, I would say these two are the new leaders in this category, with the clear edge going to the crafty. They both seem like an evolution beyond my firefly, but from a materials standpoint I will take stainless and glass any day over aluminum and plastic, also no small parts to lose is a big plus for me. This is just one man's musings on the state of battery-powered portables these days, we've come a ways since the choices were basically pax vs. solo!

Im only on a lowly 3hrs of operation so far in nearly a week I have owned Crafty for. At the height of my combustion days I was smoking an easy £5 worth of erb in one session 4 sessions a day on average and those bills fuckin add up! Now I have the crafty its roughly only £5 max per day 
Back to the smell factor, the missus couldn't smell it in the car earlier (yes not legal don't vape and drive kids), until I blew the vapor directly at her and the answer was "yeah that smells like funk" she doesn't smoke or vape or anything...the crafty adventures continue. Has anyone used kief in it yet? I have a nice grinder full piling up currently..

The crafty gets really hot , shows battery cold on app and then it won't charge until it's cooled

its been set at 180 in app and gone upto 210c by itself
With boost temp set to 0 c ?

I have not had the same experience.
At 18 hours in four days a mains powered vape would probably be better.

Seems on heavy usage mine won't charge till its cooled down a little. (2 mins)
Thought it was my usb battery pack playing up. But noticed this last night.
I used the app a couple of times at first to set the temp to 185 and +10 and rarely look at it anymore.
But I bet if I check it later when if vape 3 bowls on the bounce its showing the same temps as yours.

No weird temps. But definitely need to cool down before I can charge it.

How old are your kids? Mine are 8 and 10 and I will grind/pack my portables and go vape outside when out of town (which is every 2nd weekend with a kid playing rep hockey) and I'm yet to have them clue in ... when they do I guess it will be time for education ... (I don't want my kids vaping too young either ... but I'm not a hypocrite ... they won't get it from me until their adults but I do expect they will occasionally use cannabis in their teenage years
) ... I also feel that leaving education to the school in this area also would significantly increase the odds of them not understanding properly and would put them at heavier risk for less safe drugs which are abundantly available ... education is the best tool ... and the education around cannabis in North America is abysmal (its at such a stark contrast from the facts and popular culture that it gives one the impression that one must be being lied to about everything ... very dangerous!)16,12,and 7

Hey Guys,
After a weekend with the crafty I still loving this amazing piece of hardware and happy with my purchase.
I do have a few gripes about it however.
a) I get about 3 sessions out of a charge max, this isn't a major issue because I knew this coming in. (could be that my sessions are long because I’m used to having my vapor brothers plugged in and I just try to milk the material for all I can get out of it)
b) Not getting that many clouds - I’ve put about .2 grams of material without the oil pad in the chamber twice and I don’t seem to be able to get more than 4-5 avg sized clouds. The other times I’ve put about .10 - .13 grams worth of material with the oil pad and seem to get about the same amount of clouds. Temperature wise I’ve been mainly using the 180c with a 15c boost, I’ve tried experimenting with 156c, 175c and 402f but I’m realizing the defaults are pretty good (I’m using a 4 piece sharpstone grinder so it’s not the finest of grinds and compacting a little bit with the orange poker, it’s definitely not the material because I’m in a medical state and only get the top shelf)
c) Not getting the same effects as I do from a Vapor Brothers – I was expecting the experience to be on par with my vapor brothers ceramic heater but for the same amount of material used. But I feel like I get way fewer clouds, the material doesn’t last as long (.2 on my vb can last me about 10-15 minutes (I’m usually using this on a lower temp, like 9 o clock and then I turn it up to like 12 o clock later on the session), versus maybe 3-4 minutes on my crafty). The length of the session really isn’t the issue however but the effects from my crafty seem to be a lot weaker and it doesn’t last as long as if I’m using the same amount on my vbrothers. That being said I haven’t used my vb since I’ve gotten the crafty so I will do more testing this week. However I definitely am using more material with the crafty to not get as medicated as I do with the vapor brothers.
