Did you fill it recently? I might be a butane klutz, since I've had this problem with lighters and that's always been the cause. Somehow I get air in the tank during filling, so I get the hiss and smell of butane being released but it won't ignite. I can usually cure it by thoroughly purging the device, turning the flame adjustment down as far as possible, and then filling carefully and completely. I find butane devices to be cantankerous, but to be fair I never had this happen with the Hammer while I owned it.

The other possibility is a failed igniter. As I understand it, you can replace the igniter in a Hammer but I haven't done it.

Loving my hammer for travel. No worries on airplane/airport with fully cleaned stems. I've found it great for the beach and other windy locations as well.

Only problem with travel is that I most always end up having to use Ronon due to being in small cities without head shops and I am not able to fly with butane... I find ronson burns pooly, and does not maintain a high of temps- so I have to bump up the tune by a notch or two.

@Head Tools I think you used my custom stem for the campaign.I feel so special! I really miss that little guy. Was my favorite way to use the hammer. David makes them really strong and they are so nice to vape from. Unfortunately mine fell out of my lap from my lifted jeep and onto the concreat floor, it bounced and landed on the side of the bowl. I could tell it didn't want to break. but...

I couldn't belive it didn't break instantly from so high. Some day soon I'll buy another.

Hey looks like the custom hammer bubbler I won a while back is for sale as a part of the campaign now! Awesome. I've been loving this little thing for all my vapes. Also works great with concentrates. Looking forward to the Pro!

There was likely a place you could have added the extra $25 when you first checked out. I think now you will just have to go back to the campaign page and contribute a custom amount for $25. I will make a note when I see the transaction that it is for shipping of your Hammer PRO.

Replacements will continue to be available for both the front lock-on gasket and new rear gasket which comes pre-installed on the Hammer PRO. The built-in nail just refers to using the heat exchanger as a nail, which some innovate hammer users like @paytonpenn have been doing for a while. We just never really promoted it as a feature until now.

Is the fuel tank larger?

I went ahead and made my contribution to the fund and got one with the WP adapter.

I would really like to see other WP adapters tho, just 1 size and style is kinda a bummer. Have you also got a price point for a replacement or custom WP adapter size/style? I would really Like a 18MM Female one.

Also to be frank the price of the WP adapter itself is a bit much IMO considering you get two mouthpiece's which is more glass for $5 less. A small comparable sized GonG size adapter with 2 joints is only $8 at a head shop so it can't be price driven by the cost of a single GonG ground joint. So why the hell is one tiny little WP adapter $20? That is a bit over priced, or at least give us 2 for the $20. I can see my friends doping it and needing replaced sooner than later.

When's the rear gasket going to be available for use Hammer 1.0 users?

The Hammer PRO does actually include few tweaks to the heat exchanger for better use with concentrates. However, the original Hammers will also perform the job without any issues.

If you haven't tried your Hammer with concentrates... You are missing out!

Seriously better than any rig setup you've tried... like an e nail in your pocket. The heat exchanger is designed to maintain lower temps which means that you get the best flavor without any "scorched taste"

You can fund the campaign for $1 and then "Add-On" the bubbler.

I believe I have a friend who only smokes looking into the hammer. I mentioned to be patient and put 79 up for the new units fund raiser, but I have a feeling he's gonna jump on the original which is still a quality vape. Im pretty excited to see what changes the 2.0 has but I couldn't be happier with the OG hammer. Thanks @Hammer Vaporizer & @Head Tools for keeping us up to date with whats new.

Does anyone have more info on the hammer pro? I saw the video on indiegogo aND it looked. Awesome. I've never used a butane vape does anyone know how this one works exactly ? Do you have to hold the torch or does it clip on because that's what it looks like in the video

Is there a larger tank? Has a flame lock been added? Is there still a wiggly heat port? (Mine moved, probably was too rough attaching stems) Any chance of a pic of the new stems? @Head Tools @Hammer Vaporizer
