Hello guys I am really excited to be part of this wonderful community.. I have been struggling to quit analog smoking and now try hard to use vaping as a weapon in order to fight smoking.. Are there some guys out there who can tell me how vaping helps in quitting smoking? Waiting for replies..

Simple, many of us gave up combusting for several weeks, and switched to a vaporizer exclusively.

For me it was an easy transition. Bought a nice portable vape, and being a gadget geek I used the vape for about a week or so exclusively.

Then I tried to use my classic bubbler I had been using for years..... :uhoh::puke:

Holy shit it was nasty. I couldn't believe how nasty it tasted! At that point it was clear to me, I was hooked on vaporizers! Sadly 1 month after fucking combustion, my Davinci Ascent died on me and I had to send it in for repairs.

And so I learned a valuable lesson about vapes - ITS ALWAYS BEST TO HAVE A BACKUP! Because once you fuck combustion, you'll never want to go back!

Seriously, I tell anyone who's interested in fucking combustion - commit to vaporizers for several weeks exclusively. You won't really feel like you're getting medicated for the first day or two, but you'll quickly realize how much more control you have over how you medicate (in general - I enjoy low temperature for morning/day use, and high temperature for late evening)

I tried (and failed) to fuck combustion several times over the course of about 10 years (since I bought my first vaporizer).

I'm pleased to report I'm now finally 99% smoke free (I might have a little toke if someone is passing a spliff at a party) thanks in part to the advice on this community.

My lungs feel great, my senses of smell and taste are improved, and I feel like I am making a positive change in my life!

Good luck, stick with it, and let us know if you have any specific questions about equipment and/or techniques.

It is hard to quit combustion completely, but generally if you are happy with your vape, you will tend to use it over other other methods. I had my volcano for a year and I used it every day with a j every now or then because my friends don't vape. Now that my volcano is being fixed, I'm back to combustion for a little. You'll notice how vaping doesn't leave you congested as opposed to combustion, and you conserve a lot of nug.

ps Another word of advice I will give you is to learn how to make accurate-dose baked goods and other edibles. Many of my friends believe "vaporizing doesn't get you as stoned as smoking" but I have found that vaping + edibles in varying combinations will get me anywhere I want to go. :)

Salutations JohnIEFerretti,

I have been struggling to quit analog smoking...

It seems you've been doing some e-Cig reading before. Well i'm still not sure what an "analog" is supposed to be after i got registered on some related boards but i can guess what i'm using is as close to that as it can get - without the anti-cannabic prohibition element, not to mention i don't smoke neither...

Are there some guys out there who can tell me how vaping helps in quitting smoking?

Isn't "vaping" all about e-Liquid? We do have e-Cig devices discussed in some "e-Cig Based Portables" dedicated thread but that's only a fraction of what you can find on FC actually. In any case, considering i already need the self-moisturization aspect of my cannabic vapor there's no incentive i can think of that would cause me to switch to e-Liquid since it can trigger intolerance signs of its own.

Still, to me combustion smoke is now about as useful as buckets of water for a camel... Or a refrigerator in Nunavut if you prefer. But that's me.

Anyway i'm thinking maybe you should clarify your meaning when it comes to "vaping" vs "analogs", simply to avoid future confusion.

Good day, have fun!

:peace:

Oh yes, absolutely once you get the hang of vaporizing, you'll find yourself using less than half of what you did when smoking - the money savings has been amazing for me - gave me plenty of cash to buy more vaporizers and more glass!

Stick with it your going to love it being able to enjoy the herb without the worry stinking like smoke.
Food taste better I can smell tress and nature when I hike. Smoking is dangers not only to your lungs but fires leaving the door unlocked to run in and outside to smoke every hour or so. I also save money by not
destroying clothing and furniture with all the burn holes. Enjoy your new lifestyle and it's endless list of benefits.

Vaporization helps you quit smoking out of efficiency. You get medicated from so little, the vapor tastes great and you KNOW that your lungs aren't crying from nasty bong hits. You don't "quit" per-se as much as you just find the obvious better choice. Quitting makes no sense, 80/20 rule is better for me. Vape 80% of the time and smoke 20%. Makes for a healthier and more affordable balance. Who's gonna say no to a blunt?! Lol
