Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I think those are the correct temperatures and they are consistent with the user experience in my opinion. When I vape dry herb at setting 4, I get perfect clouds with great taste. When I do wax at 4th setting, it is also extremely effective and I notice that the unit gets extremely hot inside (which makes sense since wax requires high temps). @BuzzDanklin , did you try Haze with wax? What is your experience with it?

P.S: I know that Haze was working on new temp settings but I am not sure where they are at in terms of that.

@trevorzamani A couple posts up I mentioned my first experience with the Haze and wax. I am really impressed with it, thus far none of my dry herb vapes have impressed me very much with wax, it's usually a decent at best experience with more than average cleanup/hassle. With the Haze though I was real impressed, and the cans keep the cleanup/hassle to a minimum

@Stummies did you ever order your Haze? I agree with the others on here, just order it directly from Haze. In my thinking this just makes for a better trail later on should any issues ever arise.

Updates: I tried both of the other screens at length and also enjoyed the experience with them both. I specifically liked the Conduction screen it allowed for instant and more substantial vapor. The sessions also were longer but once again the cans delivered a far better taste experience. However this screen did seem way more sensitive to how it reacted to the heat versus the cans based on how the screen was loaded.

-Battery/Pocket
As some of you may know I was concerned about the battery door opening on me....well I have been all over the place with the Haze in my pockets, pants pocket, jacket pocket, backpack pocket and in a pocket while out Mountain Biking all day. After all of this the door never once opened and the Haze was right at home while on my Mountain Bike ride. The Haze is a solid unit all around from all of my experiences so far. I put my Haze to work every day for long hours and it still continues to show up for the Job and do it well day in and day out.

If Haze is working on the temps I hope all they really are doing is giving us a bit more range. I currently enjoy the lower settings but would like to see maybe I higher top temp too. I do once again like ALL of the current temperature settings. In the future however, I do agree with what many others have mentioned, that having some type of option in the future on being able to adjust the temps and ranges would be great to have.

-What Friends & other think
I have had some friends over and all of them have enjoyed it, to my surprise all of them now want one. Some of them have other high end vaporizers and it was great to discus and share what we all thought made the Haze stand out. I am excited @Haze Vaporizers to see what is new on the coming horizon. I'm sure we all are.

Take it easy all and cheers.
Glad to hear that you guys are enjoying. From what I know, they are just adjusting temperatures but they may be adding temps too. I asked Haze to clarify what more exciting coming out for all of us. For all new members: Haze actually is a member here and they make announcements on the thread.

I will say that Haze is working on and will keep working on improvements to their unit. The user feedback is always being listened to and applied.

I will definitely do that once I have more experience with the Mighty/Crafty, I am still changing it up every bowl with different grinders, packing tightness, strain etc trying to figure out what works best for me.

As of right now the crafty/mighty are pretty impressive though!

Good Evening,

The Haze arrived at my doorstep today, and while the batteries are charging, I explored the piece a little.
I noticed that the stainless steel lids, that are attached to a piece of silicone and then to the door, were uneven.

At first, I thought the glue came off, but as I tried to peek underneath, the whole silicone piece with lids fell off. It doesn't seem to have had any glue around, which seems smart, since this area gets hot and would require high heat resistance.
Anyway, I was able to push it back on. It still doesn't seem to be completely even, but I guess it doesn't have to as it seems to keep the lid shut good enough when I pull through the unit, cold of course.

Seems like I get a little overly cautious whenever I receive a new vape, as i thought my vapman was cracked when I received it, but it turned out to be a perfectly normal seal of the mica material.

Anyone ever managed to get that piece to come off? Haven't seen it mentioned throughout the thread.
Put my off at first, but now I'm a little in awe of the solution they found.

Definitely smells like the usual out-of-the-box robot-farts, so will definitely do burn-offs before it goes live.
Will be back with some feedback in a couple of days.

@sdrsh The doors/lids should not be uneven. I would have sent it back for one that had no defects and I have not read about any of the other owners having this issue or the silicone coming off. Haze will make sure you are happy no matter what. Let us all know how you like it once you get things all sorted out.

@Vape Dr. , thanks doc, I clarified it with Haze tech. on Friday and have been hazin' it since then.
The lid also hasn't come off again, fits perfectly.

As a couple of you already noted, the mouthpiece really gets stuck in there quickly. At home, this is not an issue, but trying to flick the thing out while taking a walk is a sobering experience.. Have to figure out a strategy for this. I'm not willing to take an extra tool with me solely to pull out the mouthpiece though.

I'm liking it so far, but will spend some more time with it before getting specific.

Around home I just don't ever keep the mouthpiece inside my haze. When I go out with the haze, I use an iso q-tip to clean out the vapor path, and the bottom/outside of the stem before I leave so its smooth sailing.

When I emailed asking a bunch of questions about the haze, one of the questions was on the future fixes for the sticking mouthpiece, this is what I was told:

The minor difference with the new models is that the bottom of the air path where the mouthpiece is stored will be designed in a particular way for the mouthpiece to sit on the base without any friction that causes the mouthpiece to “stick” in the unit. For a mass production with this new modification, the manufacture estimates that the units will be ready early January.

Here is another good review of Haze. Any e-liquid users here to comment on the taste? I am not a big liquid user myself and it does great with wax and dry herb like most people commented here. Curious to see what you guys think if you do e-liquid mainly.

I had some comments on how the Haze deals with e-liquids a few posts back. Check it out.

So, put the Haze through some work this weekend and with some smart usage as described in here, managed to flick out the SS mouthpiece at first try when out and about today. Success! just gotta wipe everything down before going out and keeping the mouthpiece outside at home.. OK!

But now the Haze wants to go for a ride again, with the UPS truck, I suppose. The full circle bowl doesn't stop heating up to the point that the mouthpiece acts like a sad, little chimney for SMOKE. ugh.

The crashs and burns of innovation.

it's been a good first couple of days though. I really like the experience it produces in terms of vapor for a pocket vape on three and four. ABV is done after that. From what I can say so far is that I will personally prefer the Haze to the PAX because of the mouthpiece draw and vapor taste. It produces big, tasty clouds with no burning on lips or tongue. I like that.
My only real gripe so far would be the usability convenience of the conduction screen. When loading the chamber, some herb crumbs are just bound to fall behind the screen and end up in either the vapor path or the hot air path. It would be great if some sort of conduction-can could be implemented. That would make this little bakery pass-out-drunk convenient!

For convection I simply use other vapes, but the can-mode is just superbly convenient for on the go already!!

Of course, more temperatures and a solution for the mouthpiece stickiness would be greatly appreciated.

@NickDlow how do you pack dry herb and wax together in the can with Haze? I would like to try it since it sounds interesting. Do you do like few dabs at the bottom and herb on top? How much do you pack? What setting do you use? Thanks in advance.

Basically what ean said. I just sandwich the concentrate and let it rip on the 4th temp

wowww man it is sick. You guys rock. I have a new way of vaping. I used .2g dry herb with a dab of my wax at the bottom of Haze can. It creates insane clouds with premium taste. The can got little messy inside after my session but it was a 24 min session which is the longest I have ever gotten from any of my portables. Now I have 6 cans in the fridge, packed with herb+wax. Any other new ways of using, please share. You guys made my day..

I am dying to get my hands on a good keef actually but I love this combo. I started on setting 3 and finished it on setting 4. Matter fact, now I just reheated the same can and got 3 more good hits out of it. I think the wax at the bottom is giving the vapor density while most of the flavor is coming from my herb. Perfect combo. Now I am packing one chamber with dry herb only and the other one with herb+wax combo to see how long can I vape continuously. 24 min session was a first for me from any portable i ever owned and used for sure but now two chambers may push limits further. I am so glad that I saw that post after all this time on FC.

Bruce, check out the earlier posts from Nick. There are some videos that he posted I think which show his wax/herb packing. I would send you a link to the post but I am at work.

@bruce6110 put a small layer of bud n the dab on top then a top layer of bud. It keeps the can a little bit cleaner to get another use or two out of the can. The dab soaks into the bud rather than pooling at the bottom. That's usually my technique.
