Sipping rig ?

Has anyone come across a mini 'sipping' rig that functions well enough to only mouth draw ?

My issue is I can't direct lung hit (kills my bronchs regardless of hit size). So, essentionally I need to slow draw into my mouth first (oral pressure only), and then inhale into my lungs. I'd like to do this with both micro dabs as well as pair a vape for use.

Anyone with suggestions ?

Hmm that's a tough one. I tried that type of draw with a few of mine. My little Jhook and BabyCake from @yingmin5 on dhgate seem to be the easiest.

If you can't inhale to do the drawing then I'd think something like a gravity fed or waterfall style glass wold be the most ideal as they do the drawing for you. Then all the smoke is just resting in a chamber for you to take lots of little light puffs from if wanted.

Bags or fan assist with your Herbalizer doesn't work for you ? If not I don't know what would be easier then that, seems like you own one of the best in the 'herbie' for those medical issues.

Yes, definitely a glass piece to moisturize my hit but I'm thinking along the concept of a piece that utilizes a pencil or cigarette diameter mouthpiece with a very easy activation bubbler or fizz that would allow a slow mouth pressure only draw that I could 'then' inhale into my lungs once I have a mouthful (direct pull lung hits kill me into a coughing fit). This would be used for both micro sized dabbing as well as coupling with a herb vape device.

The Herbalizer fan assist does work easier for me however the mouthpiece of my glass pieces and their air flow volume (including J-hooks) is too much to 'sip' at. I don't like bags at all personally... never did and probably never will for whatever reason.

Really, I'm more or less looking to mimic the restriction you'd get from taking a haul on a cigarette into your mouth. I've searched for something like this for a long time and never came across anything that would possibly work for what I'm attempting, so thought I'd ask out loud for once. I have a feeling (and don't mind), that I'll have to get a custom piece made but I'm not knowing best how to describe it, nor who would be best to approach with my conundrum so as to not be disappointed considering the cost of a custom piece.

First off, on your point on "sipping rigs", I'd distinguish between a larger rig with low percolation that you can "prep hit" in the chamber then finish with pulling to your lungs, and a small rig with many holes or probably slits (why? because more percolation: easier pull, slits= variable pull vs. you have to pull __ hard to get to the perc).

[From my POV your issue would not be solved by anything recycler related (added drag).]

My opinion on the easiest pull would be an inverse showerhead like this. (by a large margin IMO)
To be honest if I were you I'd look for a larger chamber piece with an easy pull that you can "pre-load" and then "sip" from to avoid a hard drag. (something similar to this
or something similar, the airy bottom + small showerhead would IMO provide very little drag, although I don't have experience with it myself others have posted function videos and seem to have positive reviews.)
EDIT: to even add to this you could swap the neckpiece for a vapor whip attachment which would probably help your situation further


Second choice would be an inverse showerhead a la (sorry couldn't find a dhgate link on the fly) [I do have some experience with these type of rigs, they require extremely low water level and have a very easy pull.


Third recommendation for you would be along the lines of a piece like this with low water level. (larger chamber + slits make it easy to pull)


To re-iterate myself regarding cup rigs. Can recommend after myself and another have used for few months. BUT: for your situation I'd say these are not at all what you should be going after, the small mouthpiece diameter requires more suction (should be noted with other pieces too) and it has a hard chug. (also surprisingly hard to clear because of cup design, but without lung issues this typically doesn't arise as an issue for people)

I see the direction all are taking in their suggestions, and it's surely my fault for lacking a better understood description (and I apologize for that)...

What I'm looking for is to have a tiny rig that will allow me to essentially 'drag' on it (and with the same resistance with my lips), as I would smoking a joint or cigarette. Into my mouth, then inhale it into my lungs giving me the same effect and ritual as toking while omitting direct lung hitting (even if I lift my tongue to deflect the vapor path), and choking.

Again, I apologize if I'm not portraying this properly for you to visualize.. but we'll have to just chalk that up to my executive function disorder side of my brain injury (believe it or not, a post takes me anywhere from 5-30 minutes to create-read-edit-read-repeat as necessary-post ).

Based on that I'd say go with the cake rig knock-off posted above (extremely little pull but male joint so may not meet your requirements for vaping)[Function should be similar to , or the first rig I posted, and such type require very little pull.

smokum I don't see how you could ever fill a water piece without pulling with your lungs myself. i don't think I can even mouth hit and fill one of those little 49cent plastic bubblers to tell you the truth. I find for myself i gotta use lung power to pull vapor through water.

On a budgeted minded note: maybe use a bubbler with detachable mouthpiece (or even a whip straight into a tube) + a jerry rigged grav bong (whip attached to mouthpiece/where you usually put your bowl) to pull for you?
Edit (might be dumb but just struck me): instead of a grav you could instead possibly use a sort of attachment to one of those 5$ desktop fans (shit if you want to go all out get a bladeless fan and throw a turkey bag on the other side and boom you got yourself a bag vape)

I'm thinking the Herbie on fan assist to a Mobius Ion or Mobius Atom sized piece, via tube adapter.
Mouth draw with help from the herbie fan to fill piece. Shut off fan.
Then mouth inhale from piece, then inhale into lungs.
????
