Yep I believe you are right. Where is the best place to buy this for the best price? Are they going to offer like a Black Friday deal or anything?
I'd just go to S&B and buy it. I'd make an account first though if you want one for easier ordering in the future- since i used paypal before making an account and that's not the email i wanted on the account -they can't get my Crafty order to show on my account no matter what email addy i use lol That's only if you want a record of it on the website-it won't matter if you ever need servicing ;)

How about for those with LOW tolerance??

I'm just fine with .05-.1 either once or twice a day.

Is anyone using crafty for just 1-2 good draws then put it away and reheat it later to draw again?

Is there a lot of wasted herb if a bowl is reheated 3-4 times?

I'm very ok with how low my tolerance is, and the crafty is under consideration as my road vape - pack it once and sip it a few times a day maybe even over 2 days before repacking. Will this fly?

I don't know about 2 days lol but i can get medicated on a few hits with this vape, turn it off for a an hour and still get good flavor/effect on subsequent hits. I tend NOT to do that though, but i can stretch out a session if i want too. I don't feel like i've wasted any herb since i got the Crafty -not one bit of it:tup:

Well I guess I'll put the money in the bank and get this ordered. I'll going off of all of the testimony I have read here so let's hope it's as good as you guys have made it seem. I have noticed not too many videos though? Why is that?

Another plus for this vape is that i i'm taking twice as many hits off each bowl before i dump it. I know most people on the forum drag every bit of vapor they can from a bowl, but i'm a flavor fiend ;) I usually don't do more than 4 or 5 normal hits off a bowl before i trash it no matter what other vape i'm using, but not with the Crafty:tup:

Just because this needs to be stated an additional time, the OP(oil pad) is the key to having a long session with almost HALF amount of herb needed and the OP placed on top. Even if the bowl is filled to the brim, you can squeeze the OP on top. When the session is complete, the ABV comes out in the shape of a puck. Just enjoyed a 20 hit session  on 385F.

HOLY SH*T!!!
That was quite the vapour production!!
What temp was that at?

You are twisting my arm now...
This is at max temp ... 210 ... but the production is just as voluminous at lower temps (just a little thinner) ... I tend to run it at 185, and 195 for water extraction and it milks a tube really well at 195 ... I'll try to film one of those as well for comparisons sake :)

This is exactly how I am using it. I use the oil pad more often than not as it produces the best results. Even with a herb/shatter combo that is maybe 2/3 of the bowl full, I still use the oil pad. It seems to produce bigger hits and denser vapor. I don't know why but once everything is compacted Crafty makes light work of it imo.

Do you drop the shatter right on the oil pad like you normally would? Or do you drop it on the top of the bud and use the oil pad as just a topperv

VapeNStone,

I wasn't sure how to use it at first. I tried putting the shatter on top of the oil pad and to just do it that way but it didn't really work. Now I am just putting a thin layer of herb on the bottom, shatter in the middle and and herb on top. To be honest I prefer shatter with other devices or even a nail and torch. I would say Crafty handles this kind of combo well but it is not where it shines imo.

Damn that really makes the difference (as I'm still on the fence), NICE ONE!!!:tup::tup: Mr.Gweilo 420, best news all day!

So we're talking 10 sesh+ ?

Which power bank did you get?
Total was 12 sessions. There would be some variation depending on quantity, quality, number of draws, etc.

Seven sessions? Seven bowls? Link to pack please?
No link. I got it in a shop. The brand is PNY. I just picked it up and hoped for the best to be honest.

But you lost about portability....
Yes and no. I see Crafty as being built for different purposes. Full stealth with the lights off and no additional battery or keep it plugged into the power bank while in use or keep the power bank in your bag and recharge between sessions.

@Mr. Gweilo 420 Thanks for the report. How much herb did you consume with 12 sessions?
Its hard to say man. Maybe 1.5 grams and a few dabs.

How do you guys get the oil pad out after using it?
I use my e-pic but be careful the oil pads can come apart if not treated gently. Also, with the Plenty the oil pad will slowly build up residue until it starts to effect function. I imagine the Crafty/Mighty oil pad is the same. Also it really keeps debris out of the cooling unit which is another big plus.

EDIT: Sorry for double post. Mods could you help me to merge please. My bad.

I haven't tried the oil pad yet, but could it be additional conduction from the oil pad heating?? (thus resulting in bigger clouds)

Is the orange tool safe to use with the oil pad while hot? I'm scared I will melt it and be vaping plastic next session.

Nah I think you could pull it out with your fingers to be honest. Orange pick will work fine :)

Crafty maintenance features . . .

I love how S&B builds in the little "notches" so you can use the included vape tool to get the o-rings out. Most of you are familiar with the one in the cooling unit but I found another one that is not so obvious. I was attempting to remove the o-ring from around the filling chamber and was having difficulty. Then I noticed that both sides of the design are not the same. On one side of Crafty the ribbing doesn't connect straight, it slopes downwards. By inserting the vape tool and using that slope as a sliding guide, it popped that o-ring right out of there. Amazing attention to detail . . . :)

Edit: Looks like the fasteners are a torx T-6

My brother is still testing the Crafty before he ships it to me later today... He mentioned plastic taste as a drawback... I hope it goes away soon.

Another thing he noticed is that he just can't get more than 4 hits per bowl no matter how much he stuffs or what the temp is. Extraction is full and effects are there but even at 180C it's 4 draws and vapor production stops. Not quite a sipper it seems. He mentioned that I would need a lot of herbs with this... :p
One more day... And with a spare complimentary iphone 4S to go with it!!! :D
