Feel very good about this one. QA list is exhaustive.

It is expected to run perfectly

Ideally, use Inhalater car charger adapter to avoid any decalibration risk.

Not even going to use a car charger!! haha Ok so when can you have it sent out? And do i get a choice of color?

We are waiting news about glass capsules....nothing.....but your improvement seems nice, although the 05 was coming out 2 months ago, did you plan to sold us units and after only 2 months you offer us an upgrade (not for free, I bet)....I thought the 05 was the upgrade!

But I'm still enjoying my unit especially for clouds and car drive, charging time is still too long and I get the same cap issue (I already lost it....).

Hi guys do you enjoy your brand new unit...but already obsolete...sorry but I can't follow you anymore in this race...

  1. Heating time is reduced by 38% - Nearly cut in half.
  2. Operation LED has been cut in half for comfort on the eyes.
I am a big fan. My Inhalaters are my favorites, and I surely am not trying to make waves here, but I am not in agreement with these 2 statements.
  1. It could be just my unit... but the charging time is double that of my XP. I can use both units for identical time (and have done so simultaneously a dozen times) and upon charge the 05 requires twice the time (and sometimes a tad more) than the XP.
  2. At least for my eyes, the light, while enclosed in a slit-like aperture is still VERY bright blue, and it's glow can be seen from much farther away. It lights up an entire room while charging, and unlike the foggy lens on the previous model, the blue light is crisp and clear, and more much more visually distracting, and attention demanding.

@PPN The glass capsules are ready to be manufactured. Delays are because of required production investment.
I take the time here to say that we are currently selling equity to finance a faster corporate growth.

The new INH05 S came to the table last week when it was learned about the newest battery technology. To upgrade, unit must be teared down and additional components installed.

IMO the INH05 is ahead of all other technology on the market and very far from being obsolete. Quick release of newest innovations is our commitment to supplying the best to our customers.

@Vitolo The statements pertain to a new model; INH05 S , a modified version of the INH05. The charging time on all units is now the same as the XP. We found the cause for lower charging rate and rectified it.

On the INH05 S It is the heating time that is much shorter. Unit gets to max temperature in 18 seconds. Down from 29 (on an empty capsule)

As manual modifications are done to build an INH05 S we take the time to change LED resistor to make it more comfortable.

Not looking to start a tiff of any kind but that seemed a bit harsh.... although life is primarily all about the way in which we view things..... we could view the extending waiting period as though Inhalater wasn't doing enough or we could see that another entity is actually working that project.....
We could view innovative discoveries as a plan all along to suck us in to buy or want the next version coming out.... or we could see it as normal evolutionary development of improvements and sometimes we will gain several improvements {upgrades}.....

MY view... is that we have a garage type start up that is passionate about evolving / improving their product with each revision they produce..... now this recent opportunity for improvement evolved from directly from the RND for the INH06.... In pursuit of adding an additional heating element to warm the air and increase the convection properties of this design......
The best aspect and likely the most compelling reason to offer it as an upgrade is how economical / easy it is to implement......

I am still very much enjoying my XP's and my INH05's and in some ways wish I had an 0004 but I was just a little bit too late to the party...... but anyway none of mine are obsolete.... in fact I still prefer my XP Q2 version the best.... however for a big crowd or when I wish to impress....I go with the Monster INH05......

I'm very excited about this "S" upgrade..... I'm after all a guys guy....originally from the motor city.... who doesn't love Tim Allen and MORE power...... I only through out the caution flag... with more power could come new concerns.... but it sounds AWESOME......

@Vitolo I do believe they were making those statements about the INH05 S..... I so agree with you.. that damn light is off the charts..... it absolutely can light your way in the dark....:peace:

So then @Inhalater if I send in my 05 for the battery issue and the cap issue are you most likely just going to swap it out with the new 05S? I would assume it would just be costly and time wasting to fix the battery issue instead of just using mine as parts and giving me the new model?

The charging adjustment is literally a 60 second affair. We replace and resistor which is easily accessible.

To upgrade a unit to INH05 S; potentiometer has to be removed, additional power transistor and power line added, heating chamber must be dismantled and rebuilt. A new potentiometer installed and unit must is recalibrated and run through all QA tests.

We can surely strike a deal if you want to make your unit, which is already most advanced and performant on the market, even better.

SiDankies got a great timing and a freebie.

Inhalater,
Ah ok well then I guess I'll wait for the glass capsules and send it in then to coincide with the order.

Yes, I was a bit harsh.....cause it seems the 05 was not totally ready or tested....and it needs to go back to the factory to be totally functional (charging time, cap, led)....I don't expect to send my unit back to the factory cause I'm in Europe (too expensive shipping cost) and cause I like the actual unit even if I can't take it in a concert (no cap and too bright) , since I already own the Xp the very long charging time is not a big deal (one is ok when the other is charging).

Could you plan to invert charging led and power led to enlight the selective knob, so, at least, you can use the light to choose your setting in the dark....I always get this issue when I'm driving in the night!

Maybe I'll follow you again for the 06...but take your time!

But I like it!
So post office was closed yesterday for Remembrance Day (We went to the cenotaph and I wore a few Navy medals - go team :) But - my INH05 is back from repair! I have a few new caps inside, so I'll never run out now! I've just loaded one and am about to get poochie out for some exercise - will post more thoughts when we get back, but I'm sure they'll be good.

PPN - I hear you about the 05 and 05S coming out so close together. I've gone through 1/2 a capsule with my brand spanking new 05 until it pooched. Now I have a brand new unit in the shop for repair just 2 days after purchase, and on the same day as the new version is released.

I just watched the video comparison, and you know what I really noticed? Both of these devices are way faster than anything else I have, or anything else I have used without a lighter. If the plain jane 05 works as good as it did for the first 1/2 cap I'll be a happy camper. But if there is some sort of special upgrade path, well, I'm like Old School - the S is faster, therefore my guy genes kick in and I want the newest and fastest. But I have pretty darn fast already, so it's not gonna make me pout too much :)

What a great afternoon of walking the dog! I used 1 capsule 2.5ish times, put the unit on charge, then back out for an evening walk. Dumped the cartridge and there was still a lot of life in the contents, so it will wind up in tomorrow's breakfast smoothie!

This is simply a great unit. The only thing that makes this thing *not* stealthy is the amount of cloud that comes out of it. Right now it just looks like I'm breathing on a cold day (cause it's chilly), but in summer people will think I'm on fire. And you know the best thing about that? I won't really care - I'll be walking the dog, enjoying the beach scenery, exhaling clouds and loving life.

Oh, I did get a portable battery pack so the 05 has a travel companion.

Hiho neighbors. Had to follow the Tim Allen theme. Been lurking for a while now but this does look like an interesting vap. I have to agree with the above posts about the timing of upgrades. I am a techy so I understand upgrade paths and that new product go through dev and such but it would be nice if some of these manufacturers would accomodate upgrades for us early adopters. I have had this problem with both ascent and indica vape both getting upgrade or bug fixes just months after purchasing let alone the cost of shipping sending several pinnical pro and ascents back for repair. ok onto my question. Is there an eta on 05S delivery and increased cost. I have been through several Val's and am still looking for the best fit for me and my lifestyle.

So to my surprise, my 05S came today. I was expecting it next week but man that was fast shipping. The whole situation with exchanging my faulty unit and getting a new one was FLAWLESS. Inhalater had my new unit shipped the day after I went gave my unit to a local post office. Great customer service through it all.

So I charged the sucker for about 2 hours and it was done. First impressions, the led isn't noticeably dimmer, it's still bright and makes the unit less stealthy, but that's fine because I think I'm going to get a custom wrap for the whole thing eventually.

On to my first session. So I started at 5 it got to temp in 14 seconds or something close to that. It was great. Taste was good and I'm 100% stoned. It was efficient because I went from 5 minutes of 5 4 minutes of 6 and then I did a session same load right after that on 7 for about 8 minutes; ANDD the avb was still pretty light. Awesome. My only really gripe is I am a huge cloud chaser and the clouds just were not impressing me. I have read of inhalater units being beasts so someone please explain how lol help me

I will update in a bit I'll have another session

How are people feeling about reliability on the INH 05? Things seem to be looking better since the Inh XP days.

My Inh XP hit much harder and nicer than my solo imo but the xp had some issues, really hoping to get another nice portable to replace with it,

My XP is a GEM!
My 05 seems the same.
I used XP daily on the road for a year with mo issue, and the 05 appears to be the same.
