wondering if e-nano gongs are compatible with underdog vape?

The last time I came across an E-Nano GonG (a year or so ago) it did not fit and our GonGs do not fit the Nano either. Things might have changed since then though so you might ask some Nano people. To fit the UD the GonG will need to have an inner diameter larger than 3/8".

Hey there Underdogs, hope you all had a nice weekend. We posted up a smallish refresh last night with some exotics and are working on even more in the coming week. Gotta get stocked up for the holiday season and all that.

Here's a quick peak at some of the exotic Dogs we added last night. Probably 20 or so more coming in the next week too. :peace:

I've stumbled on the ultimate truth. @underdog's name is David.

In David and Goliath, David was the Underdog. Underdog vaporizers.

In case it's not obvious. my second Underdog came in today (with goodies!) and it's working great. Much love to the Underdog crew, I've got enough vapes for a lifetime now .

This has been my VVPS for my UD since early 2012

http://www.amazon.com/Tekpower-HY-1502-Power-Supply-1-5/dp/B003EGYRP6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413857470&sr=8-1&keywords=tekpower hy1502

Used every day for almost 3 years and still going strong. The cables for it are also sold on the UD site.

Besides the paint job there is really nothing bad I can say about it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good power supply to power their UD.

May I PM you regarding your vvps hookup for UD? I ordered what I thought I needed but am still not set up and am thinking you might be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks; I appreciated your post.:)

Hey FC, I had a purple days vaporizer before but switched to an SSV because the core of the purple days got loose and it appeared as if the wood was burning a little, which didn’t feel very safe. Does the underdog have the same problem or the wood is well shielded from the core? The SSV vapes very well, but whip style vaporizers look a bit "drugy-ish" with the tubing and everything. My GF prefers to see me smoke a jay even if it’s worst for the lungs.

Haha, I had not put that together before! Awesome

Referral ID?
I must have been lost in space longer than I realized.. :ko:
How long has that been a thing??

We've had it in effect for a couple months now. If you log into your account on our website, you can send people your referral ID or a link and you can both earn store credit.

Thanks UDette -- I did just as Gonzo described in his post: ordered Tekpower vvps from Amazon and vvps hookup cords from you. But the hookup cords don't fit the receptacles on the Tekpower. I guess where I am now is discovering what I need to hook up the Tekpower to the UD. The cords the Amazon listing shows for using with the Tekpower don't look like they'd work for that. (Also, the cord I ordered from you did work with the Hildbrandt-- thought you might like feedback on your diagnostic prediction that it was likely the cord causing problems with it.) However, the HB is out of commission for other reasons at this time.

But back to UD + Tekpower, yes let me know if you think of anything. :hmm:

Sounds like your Tekpower needs a lab style VVPS cord, not a tattoo style cord like the Hildbrandt takes. (link to electrical accessories) If you want, you can send us back the tattoo one and we can swap it out for you. Or if you don't want any downtime or more shipping cost, you could just cut the tattoo mono plug off the end and then split that wire into the two sides, take off some of the plastic coating at the ends and wrap the exposed wires around behind the knobs of your Tekpower supply to create the connection.

Let me know if that makes sense.

:myday:Don't short those wires!

:D Chuckle, chuckle but in addition to that: any suggestions on how I can be sure to avoid that and any other mishaps your might think of? For me I'm moving into the "Unknown" here, am a little nervous but I'm going to try it -- only later after I give you a chance to save me from my ignorance of electricity. Thanks, for any help you might have for me. :)

UDette, it does make sense. That's exactly what happened in spite of Gonzo's good advice; I ordered the wrong item.

I'm working up the courage to try your instructions for a modification. You did a beautiful job of laying that out for me with the photos and all!

Question: after I split the wire how do I tell which split wire goes to the negative and/or positive knobs?

Hey Sash- Please send me an email. The referral ID program gives store credit, not an immediate discount. If the order I think is yours is actually yours, then I see store credit on your account and also on the account of the referral ID that was used.

The polarity doesn't matter in this case; the wires can go on either side. Just make sure the wires do not touch each other (and short out) and make sure that excess wires don't stick out and touch the case or anything like that. Sounds complicated, but it's super easy- should take just a few min. :)
