Buy the Plenty? It's exactly what you are describing. You could probably even create your own battery pack for it.

I was describing a DC powered device that could be hidden in the palm of my hand, connected by a cable that obviously runs up my sleeves because I'm in Canada, with unlimited runtime on the go. Unfortunately the plenty is AC powered and is gigantic. However your post did lead me to find this portable 120v AC battery pack which looks great for those days when I wanna walk around the park with my vapexhale+bubbler, so thank you.

Or not, it's limited to 85watts and the plenty and vapexhale both need 100w, oh well.

Where is the money shot t-dub :haw:
Ask and ye shall receive. I had to shoot this in the wrong light in one take. At one point I was kinking the hose a bit and this is definitely not my best effort, left handed, but it came out ok. I won't be doing this much since the cooling unit makes water filtration unnecessary but it was fun . . . :)

that really was great @t-dub :D:D I didnt think it was going to milk it at first but it certainly got there.Really nice vid.

This is has been my first weekend with Crafty and I just keep liking it more. I picked up a power bank yesterday and am currently experimenting with it. I have not let my battery deplete yet so I am going to see how many sessions I can get from a fully charged crafty plugged into the fully charged powerbank. Ive done 3 so far this morning.

Great Scott!
App won't connect anymore :(

Only change was upgrading to android 5.0. Granted its the first device to get it, but that sucks.

Honestly I can live with the 180 degrees and 195 degrees just fine, but I still hope they fix it soon :/

I just finished my 7th session on Crafty today. Crafty is showing full charge and my power bank just moved to showing one bar out of three. I estimate it still has about 30% power left. That is using it at full temp every time as well. Should get quite a few more yet before the power bank and Crafty battery are both depleted.

Temp was max, medicine was a year old, taste was fine, the vape works that well plugged in or not depending on how fresh the battery is.

there was no let down on vapor thickness right through the vid.It seems like the crafty can hold temps even when pushed....thats badass!

Thanks for the vid:tup:

Forgive my ignorance guys..Is it be possible to start the crafty using the app without pressing the power button? Example if the unit was in a coffee cup.

Edit: I downloaded and read the manual
I see it can't control power to the crafty...

shame.I had a stealth cup idea.I will enquire further.

Seven sessions? Seven bowls? Link to pack please?

This vape inspires me, I love it . . . :luv: I am still amazed at how well the cooling unit works. Normally I must have moisture conditioning but Crafty has changed this for me.

I love it too, i don't like playing with water tools and this vape is so easy on my lungs. I'm getting even extraction, more tasty hits per bowl than any other vape. Even my last hits have great flavor .

Very true ... same feeling here! ... only one vape ever achieved the cooling as well in such a short path in my opinion (and not quite as well), and that was the Cera ... there were a lot of things I didn't like about my Cera, but the ingenuity of the mouthpiece for cooling with it's complex and multiple restricted paths was awesome! Crafty has achieved this as well, but with materials that don't suffer the same issues around heating that ceramic did with the Cera ... also the Crafty produces massive clouds ... something I could never achieve with the Cera.

There's one thing holding me back from purchasing. I'm worried there is too much conduction going on. If I buy one, I won't be finishing many bowls in one sitting, more like a couple hits every 15-30 minutes until it's done. I don't want my flower cooking between hits. The reports of getting an additional 3-4 hits after turning the unit off are not encouraging. On the other hand, the flavor retention seems to be great, so maybe it's not as big of a deal with this unit.

Another potential annoyance for me is the bowl size. I'm concerned the unit won't perform well with small loads unless the liquid pad is used. Using the pad wouldn't be the end of the world, but I could see it feeling like a hassle. If I drop $400 on a portable vaporizer, it needs to be perfect for me.

As I await my crafty, upon research all you have to do to keep the unit from shutting of in 1 minute is to either take significant draws, or simply press the boost button once (twice actives boost mode) and it will reset the 1 minute shutoff. The unit will remain active.

@letter never sent was saying he prefers a non session vape.... E. G. Take a puff and leave it for a while then come back to it.
Keeping it on won't help.

People are reporting on here after it reaches temp, Let the 1 minute shutoff occur and you will get 3-4 draws till it cools down. People are also reporting being able to start it again later with continued vapor and flavour (don't know how much it is cooking after the 3-4 draws (I don't suspect enough to cause a problem as no vapor is being produced, but I'm not sure). If that doesn't meet your needs there is a few others available at the moment.

Perhaps look into the elevape sv, I heard that's a good "on-demand" vape that uses convection. (was lurking that thread before the crafty came out and took my purchase instead).
Although you will need to stir it every 3 draws.
It has 3 temps that can be reprogrammed too.
Otherwise minivap... I think even the firefly can be used in that manner (not sure).

In my experience you'll be done after a few puffs, no matter how big the bowl is. You'll get some more with a bigger load, but I'm always surprised how quickly I can finish a "session".
The liquid pad works really easy. I basically put in enough to cover the screen on the bottom of the bowl, level it and then I push down the liquid pad.
Now I'm unable to spill my bowl because of the liquid pad and I get less gunk in my cooling chamber and nothing in my mouth no matter how hard I pull.
I get really dense vapor now too and it seems like the Crafty gets better with every use.
