I'm happy to report that as of Yesterday I received a replacement unit and it's working great.

The communication process was horrible, but at least now I have a functional unit.

Everything good?

All good now, replacement received yesterday. I'd suggest who ever is monitoring the warranty email account check it more frequently. Device is working as expected.

I verified chamber temp and stability with a type k thermocouple and when set at 375 it's holding steady at 365ish. This delta T is to be expected due to temperature sensor placement. The broken unit was > 80-300F off on the set temp and would not stay stable for longer than 5 seconds.

Hey well I am jumping here, did not read the 29 pages entirely:)

I just wanted to say that if the Baker makers are listening, the only thing I would offer as an improvement is to make the ring that the glass dome rests on ceramic- in other words, wherever the vapor makes contact with the device it will not be on plastic. I am just buying one now after much research and this is the only real concern i have. I am not a fan of the tube system but will hook a water pipe up instead.

So ya, that part just surrounding the bowl/heating thing should be ceramic if the vapor makes contact.

Think BlazingOG and myself were this products biggest fans. Mine broke after 2 months and I got the run around from the folks @TherealVaporblunt. I actually agree with claim this is most versatile vape for the money. Lots of easy tweaks to make. I got vapor density equal or better than evo or sub, but i ran mine very hot.. could have contributed to early death, but why make it go to a temp that will tear it up??? Seems like a vape that is great in concept, not executed quite right. This thing can hit, its the company behind the product of witch I would be wary...

OK thanks for your honest opinion, I om don't think I will purchase this unit as I plan to also run it very hot as I would be using it as an enail most of the time

Did you not get your issue resolved? I was somehow under the impression that you had.... But after reading the last page again it seems not to be the case. Could you please help me understand where you currently stand so I can fix this for u?

Edit: I think I confused you with the other member I was communicating with. I'm really sorry. I haven't quit in this thread I have just been really busy, but customer service should not depend on my involvement on FC. I'm sorry you had issues with Dave. Please instruct me on where you stand and I'll get u taken care of

@TherealVaporblunt there is actually nothing to be done for a number a reasons. Biggest one being that before purchasing my baker, I did not bother finding out about authorized distributors. The ebay vendor from whom I purchased was clearanceproducts or something like that. The vendor sells all types of vapes and has perfect feedback so I just assumed. My fault not yours.

Second is that I don't even have my broken baker anymore. Dave from Underdog actually traded me one of his vapes for my broken baker for his own reasons. I had an outstanding experience dealing with Dave. He replied to every message and addressed every single question I could throw at him both before and while I owned the vape. He even Listened to all my suggestions on improvements and gave me the exact reasons for having his vape setup the way it is. I cannot stress enough how great Dave from Underdog is with customer service.

I admit though, Losing the baker haunted me. I missed the hits I got from it so much that I resorted to combustion on more than one occasion. As I mentioned when I first got the baker, its the first vape that made me feel like combusting my product was wasting it. Made me actually say fuck combustion. I still miss the baker in fact, even though I now have an OG Sublimator AAB. It satisfies this super dense hits i was after but I've actually tried SSV, Volcano, UD, and my sub since getting my baker and when I hit flowers with the oil dome I actually prefered its taste to any of those I mentioned.. I would use it daily if I still had it and it would still be the first thing I'd show friends, but I couldn't ever see investing the money again.

The reason I never got into an email battle with anyone at vaporblunt was because all the blame for the failure of the unit falls on me. I just honestly got my feelings hurt by the lack of customer service. While I'm a new member people probably don't listen to near as much as a well known member, I felt like I was this products ambassador on FC while I had my baker even though no one asked me too.. I felt obligated to tell everyone about a product that should be noticed in the vaping world, but then could not get help when something small when wrong. That was the reason for my negativity.

I'll keep an eye on this thread as I want the unit but Customer service and functionality are most important to me

I agree customer service is the key when buying any vaporizer. I don't see if theyoyokid1 sells the Baker off eBay? He gives good customer service I've seen on FC. I know he sells the Pinnacle Pro and the VaporBlunt vaporizers also some accessories. Check and see if any FC vendors sell The Baker?

If you experience any problems with your unit you don't want to get stuck with a vaporizer that doesn't work and no email back.

I just got @TherealVaporblunt the Baker and I just got to get started testing it out and after only 10-15 min max on a lower temp setting for herb and it just shuts itself down. So then I go to turn it back on and it throws a Eo4 code when I push the button to turn it back on. That is all that will happen now the unit will not power on. I am pretty disappointed as this thing was starting to get real interesting up until it shut off for no reason.

Don’t attack products or companies. You can post your opinion, and you can criticize, but posts written to offend are not allowed.
Do not buy this unit @TherealVaporblunt your warranty and how you back it or should I say lack of backing what you advertize and no accountability are really in a sad state. I actually believe you are out for the buck and I know you have no empathy for others, lots of apathy however. This conclusion is based on personal experience, your track record and now after the fact doing some reading around the internet, it is horrible.

If you want to explain yourself to quite a few people and then even have to fight a guy or two over the phone to get to someone above them, then once you do they still dance around the fact that the Faker err... I mean the Baker does not work correctly or at all in my case. I will leave names out of this because I have some couth about myself.

We initially got this because the concept and temp. range was something that stood out. I will however from now on not deviate away from my tried and true method. Research the product, company, service, materials and then also talk to others who have had dealings in what it is you are looking into. Never once has this system let me down.

At least I still have two other vaporizers that are made from far cleaner materials and have far superior air-paths.
So if anyone here wants an unhealthy paper weight that looks like a plug in vaporizer I have just the thing you need. Cheers!

So, I just recieved a baker to do a review on. It worked for almost a bullets worth now it's throwing up the E04 code everyone is getting.
I didn't even get to use it enough to form an opinion!
I guess the baker makes its own opinion. It's called E04.
Not happy at all. I'm with you guys now with no email response or number to call.
Not a very good first impression IMO I thought the baker seemed promising too.....

So I decided to pick up my first plug in vape at Smoke Rings in Wilmington.
First use with flower, made me a happy boy.
First use with concentrate, I set up the unit, start it up, and the glass part suddenly breaks as soon as the desired temp was reached. Made me a sad boy.
The unit works great, just wish the glass didn't somehow explode on me like that. Has anyone else experienced this? Did I do something terribly stupid?

As someone that's read through most of the threads on this forum, I suggest you contact supplier, try to get a full refund, and try another company. The members on this forum know their stuff. I read through this thread before buying the baker and decided I knew better than a slew of experienced vapers. Almost everyone that's posted in this thread had their baker malfunction in a serious way. It's also been very difficult for many to even get replies when something goes wrong. There are several plug in vapes in the Baker's price rang with stellar reputations. 7th floor, arizer, vapir to name just a few.. :2c:

My unit is working like a boss, and so do many other units I've seen locally and online, and I haven't heard of the E04 code. Pretty vaked right now from a wax sesh, luckily this thing can do wax without the glass head attachment that exploded on me. I'm just hoping I can get the glass part replaced instead of paying $25 for a new one. It seemed like the glass head I received was of bad quality, or part of a bad batch or something.

Mine worked like a boss while it worked. I miss it actually. I've said multiple Times in this thread vaporblunt had a good idea and used cheap materials. Your exploding dome would be an example of their poor quality material. Not to mention the extremely flimsy plastic shell. I hope your unit lasts as its a fun vape. I just wouldn't get your hopes up about anything customer service related. Especially if you suggest to customer service it may have vaporblunt's fault your glass dome broke.

If you want to see something that's funny and scary at the same time, look at the internals...
2 DOA bakers with the E04 code right here (me and a friend, from different places).
This is not a well made unit, the customer service is one of the worst I've seen, and it is very cheaply made IMO.
I couldn't recommend it to anyone because I haven't had a workin unit yet. That should say something about it...

a month into mine and it's still performing well (not boasting just stating.) my only trouble was the glass attachment, but I found other methods for concentrate.
