I agree w/ @smokie, @Nesta ... I own 2 Ascents, a Solo, and a MiniVAP, and am a member of the DV developer's circle, but the Crafty is far superior to any portable I've ever owned ... it scores pretty much on all fronts at the front of the line (except maybe taste where I would say the MiniVAP has it beat by a little ...)

What's interesting about having the diagnostics panel so far for me is that I can tell that my battery went down ~400mAh in a single session ... so extrapolating from that one could get 4*6=2,400mAh ... ie. 6 sessions out of it (which is indeed the case for me :)) ... maybe 7.

Edit: (shows it would be nice if the app actually showed the mAh remaining on the battery or a percentage # as that would be much more accurate, and useful, than the 6 bars that are shown graphically in the app ...)

Edit/Edit: I'm considering trying to hack the smali code to show the % in the display, but since I actually use an iPhone on the go and not an Android phone not sure how much value that provides me ... just not worth the effort :) ... smali code isn't exactly really user friendly :lol:

Ok ... I know I'm breaking the dual post rule ... but think this deserves a post of its own.

The Crafty draws slightly <1.5A while charging ... this is important as the adapter supplied is 2A but if one is looking for a portable USB battery pack to charge one's Crafty, or another USB adapter, one only requires a 1.5A/1500mA adapter/battery pack and it should charge at the same rate as a 2A pack or charger.

This makes a big difference especially in regards to USB battery packs as there are way more cost effective 1.5A battery packs available then there are 2A ones! Really provides many more options!

So the rule of thumb would be while purchasing USB battery packs to charge the Crafty:

- 2600mAh required per full charge
- 1.5A output required to charge at maximum charge rate

God damn it I was getting close. I decompiled the apk using my motox and an app to do so. I saw the features you can check (why can't we have access to these...you can't change anything...) but I couldn't see an easy way to bypass the password.

How did you do it? I'm curious. And no I highly doubt this voids the warranty...there are no changes that can be made to the vape itself, you are just reading values, not writing anything. As in there is nothing you could possibly do to cause a problem. Its some useful info that I don't see why they have to hide in the first place.

Maybe we can make an APK with that menu bypassed and share it privately between "enthusiasts" lol.

That's the beauty of using a well established standard like micro usb charging.
I bought a 2m cable for $6 on ebay and 1.5m extension for $4.
I'll be able to pass it around with mates while still on charge.
... Even better yet I'll be able to vape from my bed while it is on mains :rofl:

Great thread thanks for the info. I don't see myself ever taking a $400 vape out of the house. I have cheaper ones that work fine for that. Does it still make sense to get the crafty over the mighty? I like the smaller form but think long term the mighty batteries will last longer having two. Hmmmm someone help the queefer make a decision please...

Dude, I used to be the same as you. At the end of the day, you should enjoy it and make sure you get your $400 worth of use out of it!
Just take care with it, maybe get a small padded case if you are truly worried.
With a cheap micro usb battery bank/pack you will be covered for battery.
But if you are set on not taking it out.... Then it would have to be the mighty. Better battery. On screen display and temp changes on the spot without digging out phone. Slightly stronger heater (30w).

The more I use my Crafty the better the flavor. I'm wondering if the material it is made of goes through a seasoning process. The newness flavor or the flavor that I think is also the signature flavor of the Plenty seems to have decreased significantly. I mostly use it at 210c but I dialed it back to 190c last night with Lavender Kush and the taste was very nice.

I just had my first Crafty hits :D Smooth cool tasty vapor :clap: I think it's time to relocate my other portables :lol: S&B has done it again. You get a lot of grief on this forum for owning a Volcano, but back in vaping's infancy, what else was there that actually worked and mine still works 12 years later . I don't quite get the filling tool :uhoh:. I'm going to use the Crafty for a few more days, but i might get a Mighty too and make the Crafty my outside vape:tup:

Was it already said whether the Mighty extracted better than Crafty? Do they medicate the same? The $70 price difference doesn't matter. I don't think I would take it out of the house much.

The Mighty maybe harder to hold being so large? Those of us with smaller hands.
