OzBongs is another great website. Most of what you find on there is basically reasonably priced and their variety is extensive

NamasteVapes sold me a portable vape (firefly) and a bunch of spare batteries. They were friendly and cooperative, but they are an American company I belive, and most of the cool stuff will need to come from US sites that offer AUstralian shipping options.

Shop around and take your time. Plenty of Desktop vapes out there!

Ebay, I almost got a PAX but then saw right down the bottom of description that it wasn't the ploom version but a copy.

Probably going to go the Da Buddha I think, $200 shipped seems pretty good.

Yes they have a few different versions of their site but I believe they all ship from one location (USA) and all of their site's share the same support email address so I think it's all just one thing. Don't get a pax..

I hear very disjointed rumors about Namasta, but I can't seem to find a consistency in these claims..
My first hand account is that they are a great company, but I haven't seem any LSV clones to comment on. Who knows. They get a bad rap for what I consider to be just a normal buisness. I told them my Firefly battery was dead, and because I couldn't determine which one was faulty (the origional battery, or the 2nd backup one I got) they send me 2 new ones at no charge. That's customer service that makes me want to stick up for them :p

Wow! First I've heard about any shit of that nature. What the absolute fuck.. Don't quite know what to think of it.


edit: after 5 mins of scattered thoughts about the whole thing, I would purchase from them again. They've sent me a free grinder, 2 free firefly batteries and I can't hold anything against the guys that safely got a Firefly to my doorstep. That's just my personal account, there appears to be other stuff going on though which I can't comment on from a place of understanding or experience..

They would be best to comment on that themselves.

Thanks, just been looking through both those sites, when I last smoked I would just go to a tobacconist if I wanted to buy a bong, do they still sell this stuff (in NSW) or is online pretty much the only way?

There are certain dodgy tobacconists that sell these things in NSW. However, they are generally super overpriced (I've seen Herbalaire for $600!!). What sort of vape are you looking for and for what purpose though? This will help in pointing you in the right direction!

Oz bongs have been good to me so far...all items shipped bombproof from there.

I haven t dealt with Australian vaporizers yet.
The crafty is $429 right now with $6 shipping.
I'm struggling saying no.

My vapman is keeping me happy In between bouts of VAS.If any retailers offer a discount I'm gonna be KO'ed for sure....damn VAS

From what I've read I'm looking for a desktop, don't need portability. Don't really want batteries. I probably can't afford more than $200. That's a pretty significant gamble from my perspective as it is. Then I still need to get my hands on some goodness.

Purpose... well, I gave up smoking a few years back and I guess every now and then I just want a little bit of a break, both from chronic pain and I guess everyday life. Alcohol just doesn't do it for me at all and causes me problems. Can't get too specific sorry - combination of very specific issues and not comfortable being too identifiable here. I'm not planning on every day but will use at least once a week if it agrees with me. As I said it's been a while and I was a heavy user for many years, not sure if vaping will cut it but keen to give it a try. Not willing to ever smoke again.

Me too man, alcohol doens't hit the spot anymore. I actually don't really enjoy it.. I'd rather get (and stay) peacefully high for pain relief and recreation.

I could never EVER justify spending $300+ on a vape that didn't look at professional and sleek as my firefly though.. fuck its so beautiful.

Yeah I like the firefly too.the battery life put me off a little.

crafty looks cheap like an iolite which was my first vape.the guys at S & B seemed to have nailed vapor judging from the reviews.
Its crazy expensive too which makes it even harder to justify buying it.

Somehow I keep on coming up with excuses to buy it.:rolleyes::D

I'm the same brother, the crafty and mighty both have some very appealing points but the look/materials are just not up to scratch for something we will pay top dollar for. I'm about to buy a sublimator and I am no stranger to paying good money for vapes, but seriously for that amount of change I want something that has zero plastic in the airpath for starters, no exceptions.

Yeah good call.

The Sublimator is the other vape I have bad VAS with.i don't get concentrates very often but if I did......:lol:
But seriously I love the whole sublimation thing with herbs.for me it just won't go away until I've tried it.:\
I wish someone near me had one ,I might be able to make something similar. I have worked out the bowl is always preheated and stays very hot,acts like a second heater.there is vortex happening I believe helping the sublimation effect and I need to see that first hand.i have quite a few powerful vapes I've put together but would love a wood log type sublimator style vape to play with.

If you order from Germany and can handle a 2-3 week wait with dreadful tracking it is cheaper. I think you would save about $50.

I've been reading you're feedback,sorry to hear about the postal delay.yes I'm looking at all options, hoping S & B might do something on price for Xmas

I know it's going to be an impulse buy for me if it happens....an expensive one but worthy if vapor quality is there.

must stay strong and hold out for a few more reviews..that and ignore the crafty thread:borg::tinfoil: :D

Well I was lucky enough to score a second hand Da Buddha deal from one of the members here on my first day, how about that!

I don't even have it yet and already I've started thinking a little portable vape mightn't be a bad idea... I think I'm in trouble.

Da Buddha is a great first vape and has a solid reputation here on FC.
I am an ex smoker too....for portable needs..keep it simple to start with.maybe an arizer solo or for a manual smoke like experience try the vapman always ready no batteries and uses a jet torch to heat.its stealthy too.
