OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I did get the gong for my glass and some extra screens to mess around with and it is awesome to know that there are even aftermarket bits available. I'm crossing my fingers that it gets shipped today and USPS is quick about it. Also crossing my fingers that the e-nano will fit well on my favorite piece. I measured and guessed and it should be no problem, but I will worry until I know for sure.

Ordered almost exactly the same setup last Friday. Haven't heard anything about shipping yet only the purchase receipt. Website says "processing". Sent an inquiry as to shipping time frame, but haven't heard anything back yet.
Still hoping to get it by this weekend!

Edit/update: Got my shipping notice abiout 1/2 hour ago! Should be here Thurs or Friday.

Occasionally I have accidentally left my enano on. Most likely because it makes me very stoned. I decided to remedy leaving it on so I purchased this shut-off timer. It works great.

Maybe this will help someone else out who occasionally gets stoned.

It''s kind of overwhelming when you finally decide to look at a vape, and there are 350 pages. I wish there was a faster way to weed out the bullshit and get relevant purchase making info. I guess there is, just ask.

So I humbly ask that you forgive my not reading all 350 pages when I ask:
Who also has the cloud/EVO and also has this and thinks its worth having both? And why?
It looks nice, I'd just like to know more about it and if I have any use for another vape?

Thanks in advance for info!

Nice idea. I don't like leaving mine on 24/7. I'm just too paranoid. This seems like the perfect solution :D

I do. I have them both, and for just simple ease of use, and for smaller loads over a longer session, go ENano.

For concentrates, "one-hit" full extraction sessions, and for getting as much medication as possible as fast as possible, I use the EVO. Plus, the HT is impressive. I once used the HT with the Nano, and that worked fairly well, too.

I would say that a "normal" (for me) hit on the EVO is a little airier than the same hit with the Nano. The fluid dynamics of the ELB/bamboo is different, and so there is a slightly different effect, even if I use the same medicine. Nano has denser vapor (less mixed in air), so it's good for slow sipping sessions, IMO.

YMMV. Coupon not valid in MT. See store for details... ;)

Awesome idea steama, I didn't know they even made them.

Another suggestion is to pick up a cheap Mechanical Timer from your local Wal-mart/Hardware store. It could be set it to kick the e-nano ON before arriving home from work and kick it OFF after midnight. Set it and forget it.

Cool, but i am just wondering what purpose this serves for you? I'm genuinely curious, not being antagonizing.

The nano draws barely any electricity, maybe a couple dollars a year maximum on your electric bill if you leave it on 24/7?

@SnidelyWhiplash My Nano vs EVO experience is basically exactly the same as @Enchantre 's. Only I prefer my older cloud to my EVO, so i sold the EVO and kept the older cloud. I use the nano almost exclusively though. Cloud sees very little action these days.

I fear leaving on any electrical device on when it is not necessary. Its not about money its about being paranoid and super careful personally.

Excellent. Mine is still processing I guess, but maybe I'll getv lucky since I'm on the west coast and will have it this weekend as well. But this is a long term investment in a very high quality hand made high end device, so if I have to exercise some patience then I will try.

The waiting is always difficult but you will completely forget it once you get your E-nano. Without doubt my personal favourite device :) You should be very pleased with your purchase.

I'm just praying that it will do a better job then my Firefly with the high CBD flowers I'm needing right now. I have avoided a plug in model for a long time because im didn't want to have to have a shrine to cannabis permanently set up in the front room of my home.

I am kicking myself right now for not ordering the aromatherapy cup because my wife loves those Scentsy wax warming air fresheners and having that would be a great explanation for the odd little wooden thingy on the library table. I suspect that I can find a suitable glass vial about the right size as a substitute until I need to make a second order.

I'm not experienced with the Firefly so I can't compare but the E-nano has power to spare. You can use it just as effectively on high or low temps. I actually have one of mine permanently in my living room. It is so inconspicuous. It just looks like a household decoration. If you have any Solo aromatherapy cups they can also be used. Having an aromatherapy cup and some essential oil about also add to the household stealth factor imo. Good luck and be sure to let us all know how you like it.

And my experience with the Cloud, EVO, and Nano is the same as @exit. What i'm about to say is my opinion only, based on my experiences, because I know that many will be all over me.

I can't stand the EVO, and i'm not happy with my experiences with VXL. I don't feel it's a "clean" vaporizer, and is prone to breakage and overpriced. With that being said, I do own a Cloud+ and it works pretty good, but after it dies I will NOT be replacing it with an EVO. The Nano is so much simpler, cheaper, cleaner, and more effective. As mentioned the vapour density is much thicker than the Cloud or EVO, and can milk even with fragments of material. I much prefer Andy's way of business and his service over the mass hyped VXL products, and won't forget how VXL stung me in the past.

Even though you own a Cloud, you have to buy a Nano! It's a no brainer! It's bombproof unlike the Cloud/EVO, has a lifetime warranty, and you won't smell or taste any plastic, solder, or electronics unlike some EVO's (especially if you use it inverted). I'm a minimalist, and simpler/cheaper but more effective is where I ride. I even prefer the Solo over the Cloud, which is kinda like a cordless Nano.

I swear my vaping needs are complete and VAS quelled, with just a Nano + Solo. Then again, i'm on a break now so it's easy for me to say when i'm not playing with vapes everyday.

Anymore questions feel free to PM me!

Funny, I feel that the OG Ticker hits better then the EVO too. WAY WAY better because of the large tube. Everytime I see a ticker for sale im surprised.

So this sounds like the herbalaire, but nicer and some hand-crafted elements.
I'm game, for that price. If I don't adore it, ill gift it to a friend.

The EVO has less restriction, but I think the OG and Plus models are way better too. I too am surprised, they are practically collectors items, but at the same time if they die, that's it. End game. It makes a good backup, and something that does kick some ass with glass due to the airflow and if you're bong snapper, it's pretty fun.

Meh, the Nano isn't like the herbalaire at all I don't think but then again i've never owned one. This is a log vape, so more similar to the HI or PD or Underdog. What is this HOT COCONUT you have in your arsenal?

I pretty much guarentee you will adore it, i've never tasted flavour so pronounced, and vapor is so thick you can chew it.

They go fast in the classifieds so you won't lose much $. Pull the trigger man!

Has anyone here actually damaged or overly dried out their wood from extended use?

There was a Beautiful Exotic Purple Heart that developed a crack, but Andy suspected it was that type of wood that is the problem.

@ACE OF VAPE Is there any Preventive Maintenance that we can do to prolong the life of our wood? I'm guessing some Bomb Ass Butter helps keep the wood protected.

Wonder if it's possible to create a protective shell over top of the wood? Would this prevent the wood from drying out?

Cracking occurs as the wood dries. If you turn green (fresh cut) wood, it will crack. This is why Andy initially requested kiln dried wood exclusively for custom orders.

And this is why my wood turning friend will "rough cut" the shape of a bowl with a chainsaw, and then let it sit for YEARS to dry (and acclimate to this climate if he's importing wood) before he starts turning (even then he'll let the wood sit for 2-3 years longer before finishing a piece). Of course most of his stuff ends up in art galleries, so it's not exactly the same thing as what Andy's doing

But wood often cracks when it dries out. Running any log vaporizer for an extended period is like putting the wood in a miniature kiln. It will continue to dry out the wood (and then when off, the wood will re-absorb some moisture!). Yes the type of wood makes a huge difference in how it responds to this abuse, though I don't really know what's better although I suspect a dense hardwood is best.

In regards to maintenance, the best thing you can do is keep the wood moisturized. I have recently picked up a tub of Bomb Ass Butter for my Afzelia Burl nano, and usually give it a nice rub with a lint-free cloth (old t-shirt) once a month. First time I used the BAB on my warm nano (running at 7), I could literally see the BAB melt, and then watched the wood soak it up!

If you don't want to buy some BAB, you can also use unscented mineral oil (mixed with beeswax if you have some) to treat your Nano.

------

Edit - for what it's worth - I personally leave my Nano on at all times - usually around a setting of 5. And I crank it up to 6.5 during the time when I'm home. In fact, I believe overall it has had less than 5 days total downtime since I received it

After MUCH research on this website, I have decided to purchase the Enano. There's an incredible amount of information here which helps make the right decision. I would like some advice as to what accessories etc. I should purchase to go along with the Enano.I won't be using oils at this point, just dry goods.Should I be buying any spare parts and what would be a good stater kit for my needs.Any suggestions are welcome.I'm very excited to get this ordered and partake.

Making a solid choice! Maybe pick up a GonG, or multiple if you're solely going to use the nano with a water piece...Also, extra screens...and maybe a Stando too for stability and holding your stems (although 18mm gongs have to be put upside down to fit, if that is any stipulation to you). That's essentially all you need for a Nano, although a sweet case helps too if you really want to max out!

It is not a problem to leave your enano on 24/7 according to the man. I don't know where I heard it dries out your wood when left on at higher settings but I am wrong sometimes (believe it or not). :ko:

Still, I need to make sure mine is off.
If you are applying Eds butter or some other type of wax to it...i dont think it will be affected by being left on all the time.
