Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

I always use my glass lined Gpong and to be honest I haven't even seen my mouth piece in a few months, not quite sure what box it's in. I moved the screen in my Gpong up a little more than half way and then put a tiny bit of 100% cotton in there to catch all that oily goodness. After about a week or two I take my oil soaked cotton ball and sandwich it between herb in my bullet than sit back and enjoy the everlasting vapor.

Volcano just released 2 new vapes..... I appreciate the audacity of the way they release product. I've always been a huge volcano fan. watching them enjoy their positive reviews makes me vomit in my mouth with jealousy.


I will go back to the drawing board on Monday. Maybe I need to stop trying to make a $250 vape and start thinking about what a $500 pinnacle could be.....

No it didn't, and your apology doesn't get you off the hook. If you believe something, don't apologize for it. Where I come from we call that "weaseling" (no offense intended to weasels).

The PnP clearly works in a reliable manner for some people because they've been posting in this thread all along. We have no idea what that percentage is, but we do know that people with complaints always post more than happy customers. If your input is simply the content of this thread (and I suspect it is) then you have no reliable information on which to judge. Taking a cheap shot like this should be beneath you, and could easily be seen as breaking the company-bashing rule.

Its been about 9 months since i got my pnp and its still holding strong. I have never used iso on anything and haven't used the cleaning brush on a bullet since the first few months.... This vape seems to really just stay pretty clean, I also us the screen on top the bullet which i think helps keep everything clean. The only kind of cleaning i really do is a quick swab of cotton in the heating chamber and in the mouth piece. I kno my bullets could definitely us a dip in iso but i honesty don't kno enough about iso to trust cleaning with it yet. I can get around 3 sessions out of the battery and on the 4th it usually dies. I still would recommend this portable to anyone who mainly uses herb. Since ive had this vape it has seen KRS ONE, The Wailers, B-Real, Redman and Method Man to name a few haha. Just last week I was in line at the smokers club tour and the security was opening cigarette packs and taking peoples doobies. That happened to the dude in front of me so i stepped up, crack a quick joke about them stealing peoples shit and he tells me to empty my pockets. I pull out the pnp and my and 6 shooter holder with bullets he ask what it is i said a vaporizer and that was that no questions just let thru. The stealth alone on this portable makes it worth owning.

Like the rest of yins I am excited about this next generation pinnacle. I can only hope its battery life is better, maybe a usb cable so it can charge in the car and anywhere with a usb port. Not much else I could really think of other then quality materials.

Final thought, I was thinking one night that a silicon case for the pnp would be a nice way to add some extra protection. It would slide over most of the unit hiding the lights for even more stealth, while keeping the mouth piece secure, maybe put gills so it can breath and stay cool. Probably a lot of factors at play but in my head this could be a nice accessory.

It definitely looks benign, but the smell is unmistakable and fairly strong even at temp one. I couldn't imagine having the balls to stealth hit. Unless it's already smoky like bar or concert. Suits my needs either way though

No, the cotton doesn't vape, I don't think it ever gets hot enough. It comes out dry and very brittle.

I was also a little scared at first but now I take it everywhere. Shopping with the little lady, to the movies. At this very moment I'm waiting in line to cash my check at a casino. I started my first 8 min. cycle when I first got in my truck. Than started my 2nd 8 min. cycle right when I walked in the casino. I'm just starting my 3'rd 8 min. cycle now. I'll try to get a picture and post it when I get back to my office.

How much cotton do you use? I feel like i may be using too much cotton, but i also don't want to use too little. I have the screen halfway up, then put the cotton in so that its filled to the bottom so no herb gets up the tube. Here is a picture:

Whoa! That is a lot of cotton shoved in there. I do believe that is way too much! I use such a small amount it almost looks as if there is no cotton in there. I'll take a picture of how much cotton I use tonight when I get home.

you can make that cotton much thinner and wispier. The thinner you make the filter the easier it is to draw on and the sooner you can reclaim!

Yeah I did infact try it out and i had to pull rather hard to get vapor and while it worked, it was uncomfortable. I now have about 1/3 the amount of cotton and just tried my best to make it thinner but still fill up as much of the tube as possible so i dont get all my herb up there. I should probably invest in a second screen maybe, and sandwich the cotton between the two so i can keep the cotton herb free.

nah...let the herb hit it. It will make for more potent reclaim!

When I put cotton in my Gong I use only enough to catch the excess oil, almost like a thin spider web.
I never put enough to add any draw resistance.

I'm still at my office so I can't show you how the cotton looks going in. But I've had cotton in the Gong for about two weeks so now is a good time to take it out.

Ahh i see. How do you keep your herb from sliding up the tube with such a small piece though?

I always put a small screen on top of the herb in my bullet. It keeps the herb from getting sucked into the Gong. It also makes transporting packed bullets very simple. With a little trimming the Vapir no2 screens work perfectly.

Ahh that seems pretty useful i must say. Gonna have to get some of those, and a long glass stem adapter for the PonG sooner rather than later.

So while I'm waiting for my $12.99 Ryot Smell Safe hard case and $5.99 Vapir no2 screens off ebay, would it be safe to use the metal screen provided in the 77mm glass mouthpiece extension to place on top of my herbs in my bullet?

@BM778 u should have no issues with using that screen from the stem. If ur worried about gunk from processing do a burn off session. I found that a basic 3/8 mesh screen fits perfectly in the bullet, and can be pushed down to hold snug. I have been using those with every bullet since i realized how clean it is and how convenient it is for travels. I also believe it packs the herb just alittle tighter which gives denser hits and even browning. since I never use a bullet with out a screen its hard to really judge the difference tho. Here are some pics of how much cotton I use in my Gong.

I start with a tiny amount of cotton from a Q-tip and then cut that in half.



I like to go for a small web of cotton. You don't want to restrict any air flow, just catch a little oil.



I can still see through the cotton in the Gong and don't notice any difference in air flow.
