Discontinued The Herbalizer

Reporting in on this. The rush method you mention above is the only method I use on Herbie... Open lid, immediately press Vapor therapy button. Have had no lockup events or odd behavior. Possibly my response to next quoted post applies.

I plug and unplug herbie at each session... keeps him out of site of them prying eyes... This may be a reason I don't see any of the odd behavior some are reporting...

Can you or any other members tell me if you live outside USA/Canada?? Just trying to see how many/if any that are using a transformer (and which transformer Bronson mentioned and another)and to see if anyone Herbie has broken down from using different frequency and a stepped down voltage. It would be really helpful then in deciding to take the gamble or not. Ta

I have had the lockup a few times, even if I closed the lid to turn it off/on it would still be in that state(mine usually had the fan stuck on) so it needed to be unplugged.

Does anyone know where to buy some of the yellow tape that is around the bag?
Side note'the lockup has also happened to me a few times. Always freaks me out as I live in Texas and do not want to be without my Herbie.

Just to let you know, I had an email response similar to you from herbie

Outside of us/Canada and transformer, then no warranty.

But said shipped 2015

I am going to wait it out and bought a minivap instead

Good luck

Yes I might wait it out too. The thought off paying a extra $100-200 for a transformer, on top of the already expensive price and no warranty and with HOPEFULLY a January 2015 has got me. Start of November already so it will be January before you know it, just hope they don`t do a "pre sales" crap on me like others I wont mention. Would be really impatient by the end of January I just know it and would hate to hear "it will be a few more months away" uh!!

Realistically, I would say January is unlikely.

Only reason I say that is I have not seen January printed, unless you have?

It is always a loose response in regard to 2015. Gear yourself for mid to late 2015 so you are not disappointed.

Be surprised if it is early 2015, but I am just a stoner without a stone ATM.

Good luck

Interested vaper here..

I do realize this awesome vape is a desktop vape but just curious if any of you use it in a car with a power inverter.

I'm in the market for a flavor producing vape that is somewhat portable, not necessarily pocketable. I do most of my vaping on my back porch or in the car.

I've toyed with the idea of the Plenty but it is a little bulky.

This vape seems to be something I could work with since everything like the whip is contained within the unit.

Hi,
I have used it in my car once, to show it to someone but don't do it regularly. It lists max power draw at 300Watts with typical draw at 20 or 30 watts. You'd need to make sure your converter can handle that.

I was going to private message you some more info but you maybe need XX number of posts before that is available??

So, I want to love my herbie again. So I'm wondering if I have a warranty issue. I feel like the fan isn't powerful enough. I never got close to the 30 sec fill up time claimed when it was released, always takes up to 1:30, many times it shut off before the bag was even full. Trying to stop the leaking Vapor I noticed the Vapor is coming back out thru the opening of the bag. The pressure inside the bag as it fills seems to become greater then the forced air going inside, which is causing Vapor loss. Even using tubing pushed into the bag, if the seal isn't air tight, Vapor wants to come out. I'm not into mods for my vapes, I don't want or feel I should have to modify a $700 vape to enjoy it. I tried a few, none worked and only added to my disappointment and frustration. Just curious if the fill up times are the same for the bag users. I could use the whip, but I prefer bags.

To test Herbie, I'd begin by removing both screens and then proceed to time how long it takes to fill a bag with the oven empty. That will rule out dirty screens, but not an intake port or fan clogged with dust.

Will give you a good place to start looking for an issue.

I mentioned this a while back but would guess it is a clogged screen. if you clean it, I am guessing you will see a big difference.

I'm loving the shit out my Herbie bags @ 375°F.

The Herbalizer Fanni's rated for 8 or 9 liters a minute. The same as the v1.0 Volcano's output.

It's not a clogged screen, I keep my screens clean and keep the bowl clean as well. If 1 min 30 sec is the average time it takes to fill a bag, then I have no problem, the fan is preforming, not as advertised, but standard to user reports. The leaking would be an issue of the bag valve design I guess.

My bags fill up in about 45 seconds. Yours is taking waaaay too long.

Don't be afraid to contact Herbalizer customer support. Carrie has always been super helpful. Best customer service I have experienced along with Storz and Bickel.
