Well my number finally came up, ordered mine over 2 months ago and got shipping confirmation this week, from what I gather, he is a one man show and these batteries took off way faster and bigger than what he anticipated I guess he is swamped with email and orders - expect 2-3 months lead time in delivery of these.

I hope all of you people have checked your spam folders.

Thanks Pak, I've had lots of issues where messages are canned by the recipients spam filter, but I've also been seeing a different issue where my email does not seem to even be making it to their provider in the first place. It's really frustrating and is difficult to troubleshoot because no mailer-daemon information is sent back to indicate the issues. I'm thinking that it might be some sort of spam mitigation system either run by my provider (hostgator) or upstream. I'm pretty much ready to pull up stakes and move to a different provider because it's getting ridiculous.

Yes, i did...

Hi there TickyDick, I'm going to send you a PM through here and we can talk. Keep an eye on your inbox!

I'm pretty sure I've been able to help everyone else who has raised concerns in this thread in private, but if you feel I have missed you please feel free to send me a PM!

Hello,

I've also been trying to contact you by email and through your site, and after reading this thread, also through a "conversation" in this forum, without any luck.

Could you please tell me what's the status of order #677?

Thanks.

I got an email that my order has been "Completed" last week. I hope that means it was shipped and I am going to get it this week.(???) :uhoh:

- - - -

DOES ANYONE KNOW.... what the protocol is for charging this battery?

1) Is it pre-charged or do I need to charge it before use?

2) How long does it need to be charged for? I know the factory battery needed aprox 4.5hours and that the green light would come on pre-maturely saying it was charged at the 3 hour mark when it wasnt.

3) When and/or how often should the battery be charged? Is it better to wait until its drained? or can I charge it at any time?

4) Are there any other tips for charging/using this battery I should know?

Thanks

iirc, it's best to top it off after usage. Once charged, it barely loses any charge and can sit for months and still be ready.

An order completed email means that your label has been generated and your package packed and shipped. We just processed a huge batch, so many of you will have received this message.

All batteries are sent out with a charge between 25% - 40% to comply with air shipping regulations and ensure the health of the battery over shipping time. When you get your battery, I recommend that you charge it to full through the Solo before using it. However, these batteries do not suffer from any memory effects or other common rechargeable issues, and the built in protection system will prevent you from over charging or draining it too much. If you want to use it right off the batt, your not going to hurt anything, and charge it whenever is convenient for you.

The only thing to be careful of is that you don't leave it for extended periods of time (i.e. several months) with a charge lower than 25%. That will cause it's useful capacity to drop significantly. 50% and higher is the best bet for long term storage.

Hi CentiZen. I ordered in October, have emailed you, posted here and sent you a pm 3 weeks ago, but have still had no reply. I haven't had a 'completed' email, so I guess I wasn't in the huge batch that just went out.

Can I please have an ETA. Order #631.

First of all, my battery (#677) arrived in Spain 9 days after the "completed" email. I also missed more information in that email. It was identical to the order confirmation email, no mention to shipping or anything. I requested confirmation of the shipping and obviously I didn't get an answer. I'm happy with the battery, but you REALLY need to do something about communication, Centizen.

And a question: I'm thinking of replacing my old Solo with a new one. Is the VapePower HP battery clearly superior to the "improved" battery of the new Solos? Would you keep the VP battery with the new Solo, or are they more or less similar?

Thanks!

My battery has finally arrived last Saturday here in Holland! I had to pay an additional 20 euro's to the
postman (import duties) so that made the total costs around 70 euro. The Battery is very easy to install
and works like a charm, i'm in Vaping heaven... Thank you very much Centizen!

I agree - communication has been a very big problem for me as I worked through the huge backlog of orders. I'm striving to improve this. I am now done all backorders, something I have been waiting to say for many months now, and this has allowed me to focus more time on email.

The new Solo's still don't quite match up to the HC pack, but they are a noticeable improvement to the packs used in the past. The main difference isn't so much in the capacity but how long they last. My original Solo's chewed through their battery within a year, the later ones are lasting almost double that. However, a lot of that is due to the design of the Solo's heater and heater control algorithm changing between versions, not the battery having much extra capacity.

I think it would be certainly worth it to someone who valued the extra 40% - 50% runtime, but a new Solo should be able to hold it's own for quite a while if it's light to moderate use.
