I have about 13.5 g of bud and 4 grams of AVB. I want to make 40 cookies. Is this enough for them to all be potent with a 1/2 vegetable oil 1/2 coconut oil + lecithin simmer??
Help.... meeeeee... XP

I'm not sure I understand the question... just do the math and compare with your regular dose. :)

13.5/40=0.34g/cookie bud
4g/40=0.10g/cookie ABV

How much do you usually use per cookie? If you aren't sure, then start slow and proceed with caution... edibles can be potent, and everyone has a different tolerance! I have friends who use less than you per cookie, and friends who use much, much more. A good rule of thumb for beginners is to weigh how much herb you vape in one session, then try using that as your per-cookie dose.

Those might have a mild effect, and maybe a strong effect for some, but people react to edibles differently. When I make them I use 1g per brownie, and they're good, but I could maybe eat 1 1/2 to get me good. If you use .34g fresh +.1 abv per, that's less than .45g per brownie, less than half of one of mine, so it probably wouldn't do too much to me (but that's me). I'd try maybe making closer to 25 brownies so it would be .7g per brownie instead, which would probably have at least a mild effect on most people.

I noticed you said cookies, not brownies, but most cookie recipes call for butter, not oil. When I used butter to absorb the thc rather than oil, the edibles came out less potent.

If however you plan on keeping the edibles all for yourself, keeping them a small dosage isn't that bad of an idea (especially if it's your first time) so that you can eat 1, wait 1 to 1 1/2 hours, and if you don't feel much eat another.

I just use the oil where it calls for butter, me and my bro have done it before and the cookies come out fine.
And wow 1g per??? The people I've given .35 per cookies to say they're the best they've ever gotten for $10

Sounds like you're making the batch of 40 to sell for profit, but that's none of my business. Either way, you're most likely sharing, and .35gs seems little to me (unless you're using top shelf, then it's reasonable).

As for using the oil in the cookies, it will work, but I think it makes it a gooey cookie (I can be wrong)
