Yeah, like don't go all out and buy some super nice VXnails expecting a revelation off of hitting reclaim alone, but i would reclaim the stuff and just load it on top of the weed in an elb, always nice to throw some stuff on top as it'll melt through the rest of the bowl and hit quite nicely.

even if you have access to concentrates i would still just crank up the evo's temp and do some elb dabs or throw some stuff on top of some weed to get a feel for it - the VXnail experience is similar enough you can infer from that IMO how it might be to dab the same stuff with a VXnail
Do you have the vxn? Because IMHO if you did you would not have made this comment because it is NOWHERE near the same. Once again JMHO.

Sorry I came off rude. I find it infuriating when statements are made with no qualification as it lends to the mob mentality which quickly leads to impossible to navigate information flow.

Stating, as a potential customer that you do not think that a version will ever come to fruition is not a qualified statement. In an environment such as this, that leads to speculation from others - silently or not.

My intention was to diffuse that speculation, not to be rude. I have no issue with @exit. I have no problem with people being bothered at the delay. I take issue with people not qualifying opinion as opinion. And to suggest something that the manufacturer has (recently and long ago) specifically stated NOT to do is where it lies. Not the timing. @exit is in no way shape or form qualified to tell people to get a 110V unit and run a step down transformer on it. SM has said not to do so, others have explained why, and then it gets recommended.

THAT is where my issue lies. We all need to be responsible when offering advice, or note it as pure speculation.

goin to some place where I've never been before
Switched on my EVO this morning and something which i've never seen happened. It lit up red so i thought all was good and it was heating up. Come back 10 minutes later and the red light is now flashing, no green light with it, just the red light, and the EVO is still cold. Switched it off and back on and it repeated this action once again. Switched it off, left it a few minutes, turned it back on, and now its back to normal. I checked the bamboo for cracks and dont find any, its not combusting, seems to working normal. Anyone seen this happen before?

Loose connection/contact? An old Cloud+ I had did something similar, and that was that dreaded wire that came off or something.

Everyone offers advice on the basis of their own experiences. I think @exit can recommend a step down if he wants to. Like you said, it's up to the person to note it as pure speculation. If they want to try it, that's their prerogative, maybe they have money burning a hole in their pocket? If they get burned, tough luck - you should have listened to SM55.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions, and should blame nobody else but themselves.

I know for a fact transformers that handle 50/60hz conversion exist so i am just saying if I was travelling to Europe with my EVO (well now @NinjaMindTriks ' evo ) if I had a unit that could handle 50/60hz as well as 220v->120v I would feel comfortable switching it on. Granted i would probably measure the output of the transformer first to be safe, but i am one to disregard manafacturers' advice in place of what i think is safe :D:lol:

I mean definitely take my advice with several grains of salt, just my :2c:, but i've been fixing vintage hi-fi audio gear for 20+ years professionally and i have definitely been described as a bit reckless with the way i treat electricity, but I haven't fried a vape yet ;)

Here's a thought that just randomly popped in my mind...

Vapexhale seems to have a bit of an aversion to accurately discussing heat up time. I mean, I get that 10-15 minutes is a long heat up time for a lot of people. But there's a problem I see mostly with people who probably recieved their evo for free or cheap in exchange for a review. They get puny hits because they haven't read up as much on the evo and are probably not giving it a proper heat up (see Doug Benson and those 2 airheaded youtube bimbos). Given that this is just the devices basic functioning and not a mod or hack or any of that, shouldn't VXH make more of an effort to help people get the most out their vape? I know advertising a 5-minute heatup helps a bunch on the selling points but in the end it winds up selling the device short. Do any of the new evo manuals (do they come with one? I can't remember.) note that the heatup time should be longer for optimum functioning?

What do you guys think about this?

Not sure if this is the case for you, but this is exactly what happens when the evo's is a little too cool which fucks with the evo's little computer brain and gives it an error. It happened when I first recieved my evo in the winter, unboxing it within minutes of it finishing it's chilly fedex journey. After it got to room temp it was A-OK.

I haven't had this happen with my Evo, but it did happen a couple of times with my OG ticker Clouds. I was told that the unit won't heat up if the ambient temperature is too cold (don't remember what temperature that was, though). I'm guessing that since the overall design is similar, they programmed the same "feature" in both devices.

In reply to Blindowl: I've had this happen before too, after toggling it, it turned on back to normal.

I noticed what appears to be a very small hairline crack in the bamboo though I can't tell for sure. I'll post a few pictures, hopefully someone could tell me. I got my Evo from the campaign , I've read of a few people having cracked bamboos early on. I've had both a cloud original and cloud plus, both worked for 3months and both took another 3 months to get replaced. If I do have a crack, should I try to get this repaired asap ? I've been really cautious and careful with the unit, this isn't due to user neglect.

I think it looks a bit worse here because its a bit dirtier.

Any comments or suggestions would be well appreciated.

Wow. I am just noticing the concentrate bowl available from the VX website. How is everyone liking it? I may need to get a few for my own testing.

I don't think I could personally agree more. The use of the word optimum is the key. This allows the verbiage to maintain that the unit is functional after the short heat up time, but it lets those of us that read the fine print to excel with minimal learning curve...

Hi everyone! Just wanted to see if anyone knows about a EVO 220V version? I've seen some companies online selling them in Europe but I think they are only available in 110V which I'm not keen on using with an adapter. I've heard VapeXhale has a 220V unit in the works anyone know when it will be available? I was looking at an Extreme Q but would rather wait on this if its going to be available soon!
