Been using the ceramic rod coils for a few months they're the best atomizers for 510/ego style pens. The technology is still evolving I think it's only a matter of time once they have a coil and porous ceramic integrated better together better. Thermovape does a great job. W9 has some cool stuff. This rod element is actually identical to dr.dabblers. So take your pick, just ditch the wick!

So I got my mini pro tank 3 but can't tell if it's working because I don't have anything to test it with. Should the wick be getting red or something when it's on?

What about the iTaste MVP? It cost about the same as the Lambo, has a resistance checker but, it also lets you charge and vape at the same time, and/or charge something with it. Plus, I am told the threading of it' suppose to be a bit stronger.

MVP good device. Same company VV V3 smaller package same performance less life. Both of these allow pass thru vaping (vape and charge). If you want to move up to a device that takes replaceable batteries there is nothing special about the Lambo. Many devices of a similar nature out there. Some with better features and a lower price. For replaceable batteries I use an Innokin SVD (sounds nasty) same as MVP but round with a replaceable battery. Spinners work fine as well but again limited life depending on the size (mha). If you are looking for a better power supply check out the e-cigarette reviews.

I did , and it was a no go on that particular one.
The wires are so tiny that my gauge woudnt fit in the little holes, and they seem to glue in the wires, so its a PITA to try to rip them out.
I have a few others I might order to try out, but the bulb works great so far just cant rebuild it.
I have been using co2 syringe oils in the bulb with much better results and great flavor.

Looked at mine and decided that with the length of the path they would need resistance/non-resistance wire. So I never tried to tear down. Seen some for sale with a "stove-top" type build. Looks like an old fashioned coil stove top and others with an S shape

Hi all, I am wondering if some kind soul could help out my noobiscent self?

I was given an Ego vape which I think is an Ego T - no packaging, so not sure. We bought a tank at the same time and we could get copious plumes of vapour from that. Unfortunately, we had to throw that out as we were travelling internationally.

We have since got another tank and attached it. It clicked and pierced the tank but we're finding it very hard to get much vapour out of it, let along any substantial amount. It does come occassionally, but intermittently and in very meager amounts. Tried sucking extremely hard and extremely softly. Softly helped a little, but still doesn't seem right.

We only used it a few days prior to getting this new tank, so I doubt there's much wear and tear to blame. Have tried cleaning the contact on the battery half and recharged the battery. I know other people who use the same tank source have no issues, so I don't think that's to blame, unless the Ego is just not powerful enough for the mixture. Is that very likely?

Not sure what else to try! Can I disconnect the tank and remove it without losing any of the precious contents? Any advice or links to guides, etc, would be most appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

Anyone know what happens to be the best e-cig vape pen to get? One with refillable cartridges that you can get at a dispensary, of course...

What would be the best way to concentrate out of a cartomizer? I have 2 dead ones with stuff inside. I know I can take a lighter to them but not sure where / on what surface I should let the concentrate drip.
Silicone pads are commonly used for concentrates. A popular brand is http://oilslickpad.com/ another popular one is http://nogoononstick.com/

For the price, my opinion is you can't beat the Oil Slick Duo. Two small pads that are great from everything for melting out cartriges/cartomizers/atomizers, to laying on top of your scale to meter your loads, to keeping a small slab of shatter sandwiched between, to rolling out dab snakes.... endless uses!

Solod out.
Has anyone seen the vape case?
http://vapecaseusa.com/

Thinking of getting one. That's a large capacity battery. I'll be able to use it to charge my inh05 and iPhone in case of emergency as well if I'm not mistaken? Not sure if i'll end up using it daily though.

I see them almost daily. It looks kind of awkward, and the battery can't be used to charge your phone.

...Currently, that means the company behind the device must at least have a website which provides a detailed explanation of why their product is unique, and, safe to use as a cannabis/cannabis concentrate vaporizer....
Well, manufacturers that want to sell their product everywhere don't admit their product is for cannabis use.

Not sure if this post should go here or elsewhere, feel free to move it into a new thread somewhere.

Blackout X

BtvWdzEIgAAR9lF.jpg

The Blackout X is promoted as "the industry's first and only refillable, disposable vaporizer", for oil or wax. A PR announcement is at:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...efillable-disposable-vaporizer-266572211.html
It came to particular prominence after being promoted on the "Getting Doug with High" show.
According to the company's website at http://blackoutx.com the Blackout X battery will last about 250 hits, and each refill will last about 20 hits.

I bought a 3-pack and started using one with some oil. Too soon to do much of a review, but first impressions are:

Pro:
1. Great to never clean, or have to change/recharge the battery (when battery dies, throw it away). Twenty hits before a refill sounds excellent.
2. Nice low cost, 1 for $15 or 3 for $30.
3. Extremely lightweight, less than .5 oz!
You don't even have to turn it on and off. To turn on, just inhale (the green light at the tip glows when inhaling); to turn off, stop inhaling. Jeez, can't get simpler than that.

Con:
1. The site says that although it "features a double-deck liquid-retaining structure also to avoid leakage", yet "It is also important to leave the device vertical after smoking", implying that the device should usually be vertical or it just might leak. That's fine if you are carrying it in the pocket of your shirt, vest or jacket (a soft eyeglasses case could make a handy carrier). But does that mean you shouldn't carry it in cargo pants' side pockets, because if you sit down it might leak? Do you dare to lay it flat on a table for a few minutes? I didn't leak-test it, not wanting to risk it. And how are women supposed to carry it, if it can't safely lay sideways inside a clutch purse? I'd think that before carrying it in a non-vertical position, it should be in a tight container of some sort just in case it leaks a little.
2. I was told by e-mail that if the Blackout X is not in use at all, the manufacturer suggests the battery should have a 4-6 month shelf life. So if you buy a 3-pack, but don't use the 3rd one until 6 months from now, the battery could have died on you before then. With that guillotine over it, they should put the battery date on the unit package.

In my brief (thus far) time using the Blackout X, I thought it was very exceptional, though with future advancing technology I would expect the tip of the spear to keep moving to even user-friendlier vapes. Because that's what it's all about: be user-friendly (making the user do as little as possible with it except inhale), discreet, affordable, and cool looking.

Anyway, all it took me was one 5-second hit of Yilo CO2 oil (40-50% THC) on the Blackout X, held in as long as I could, with more sips of air, to fully medicate me.

If anyone here uses the Blackout X extensively in the future, please let others here know how it was, compare the user experience for oil and wax, and tell us how well it works near the end of the battery life, after a lot of oil/wax has been put into it.

It would also be nice to hear a report from anyone who is using it with CBD oil. How's the effectiveness?

Hey everyone, i need help upgrading my wax pen!

I currently have a gentleman's atomizer and standard ego battery setup.

I've been looking into building an RDA mod combo.
So far, i'm looking at the Nimbus (http://www.madvapes.com/the-nimbus-rda.html)
or this one (http://www.fasttech.com/products/3028/10004437/1693403) same thing but in black...
Or the Tugboat clone (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MOUS1QY...TF8&colid=3S19ONK53DUJ7&coliid=I2B9P78PPZBL64)

And this mod (http://www.fasttech.com/product/1509700)

Is this a good setup?
If i buy a ekowool silica coil, will it be good with wax, crumble, shatter, hash???

Still unsure of the OHMS as well... Please help! :)

I just bought a eGo-V v3 battery and my 510 thread coil set-up fits perfectly. It has an adjustable voltage setting (6 the HIGHEST ) and it runs like a champ. I maximize dab hits w/ the higher voltage so nothing is left behind. People at work see the case while i'm charging it and never think twice about what I'm really using it for.

I looked at the choices you listed Dreamhaze and I really like the Vamo V5 Variable Voltage Model. Since wax likes the heat and once your Dab gets to the end having the extra power to heat makes full use of what you pack. Since wax goes for $60-$70 a gram (around New England) I want to make sure I get every last drop.

I see you got the Ego V V3, that was actually my first choice a while ago.
What atomizer are you currently using on it?

I went on Ebay and bought this set up from dpwholesale (Glass Globe Metal Mesh Screen Atomizer Set + 2 Extra Coils Attachment 510 Thread) for $12 w/ free shipping and it works great. There is a local store that sells "vap supplies" but they would have charged me $35 easy for the same deal.

Hi all, I'm hoping someone could suggest a good starting thread or set of search terms to help me research a solid 510-compatible co2 extract pen.

I've got good pens for regular oils, but I want to get away from these crappy disposables for a nice citrus oil-bound high CBD extract I found.
