Flowermate 8 - not a pocket vape...... unless you've got really big pockets.

not as big as you need for the new mighty.... about 460$ a few bucks more and it's as much as a volcano....

V8= 200$ ?? I think it will fit in any pocket....lol.

sorry couldn't resist.

You can get it for $124.75 delivered but you'll have to wait (preorder). It's still not available via US dealers. Looks like Smiss is continuing their policy of test marketing their products outside the US first.

The Massdrop deal is for a single temp version, and it seems very unlikely that the lowest price will be unlocked.

Massdrop lowered the low price threshold from 200 to 50 units, just 13 more in 3 days are needed to activate the drop at $62.99 + 2.99 shipping. I commited just as a vote for it being worth that price but thinking it would never reach sales number originally required. I didn't think of them lowering the bar. Oh well, if it drops I can gift it if I don't like it.

If you want the V5.0 instead of the V, several sellers on dhgate.com will sell a single unit for around $60, including shipping.

Hey guys, do you know if there is any filling tool that would work with the Vapormax, or if the Mighty/Crafty one would work with it? Interested in finding a better way to fill with herb other than just pinching my herb in haha.

IMHO, The V3 is as good as my solo. Simple as that. Blue is similar to 3 on the solo and has great taste and light clouds. Purple is like 4 and root directory is like 5/6 with terrific clouds. The only down side is the five minute session ends without warning...no vibration or beep. Battery life is never a problem...once a day with lots for use. You get used to it.

I pack by filling, pressing with my finger and then gently pushing with the top of a chop stick so there is a cigarette like pack all the way up. When the tip is screwed in, it all gets packed into the ceramic zone. Can go four sessions at Red with good vaped and taste.

I prefer the Silicon tip and do not find a taste difference. I replaced the screen with a bigger meshed one and drilled the five holes in the inside a bit bigger.

For the money, this is the one. Very portable.. Very stealth just like the o e speed. My wife applauds the minimal odor...at 4feet there isn't any.

My two cents....a bigger model is for desktop use...this one does the job with style.

If you can find a drinking straw, or hollow tubing, whose OD is matched to the ID of the FM, you could then fill the cut straw/tubing and tamp it down with an improvised tamping tool ( possibly a Q-tip? ).

If you then improvise caps for these, you can have a six-pax quik loaders for the road.

This what I use with mine, I picked it up at my LHS with some other stuff so I think I may have paid a bit less. Works great and easy to fit in your pocket.
That would work well, but with shipping it's nearly $10. You could make a funnel with paper or thin card stock that would work fine.

For something to use for both storage and loading I've made several purchases of this, which I use for loading several different portables, and it's a perfect fit, diameter wise, for the FM bowl. They're out of stock right now, but it's only a buck, with free shipping.

This costs a little more but is still dirt cheap, and with a 1 cm. diameter, would seem to be even easier to use for loading without spillage.

Oh ya those would work well. Before I stumbled across the funnel I was using a doob tube that I cut in half that I used to store a spare inhalater capsule in. It worked reasonably well.

Steal the Joker from your card deck, fold it in half lengthwise. Works just as well as a funnel.

Pain,
I have the vapormax V, the model that only has one temperature setting, and over the past 3 months of owning it i am experiencing weaker vape quality. I have changed the metal screens to a brand new one, cleaned the inside of the mouth piece and as well charged the vape unit to full battery, and i am still experiencing little to know vape clouds produced during the sessions. This has lead me to believe that the vape's battery is weakening and unable to heat the herbs hot enough. If anyone has any tips on what i can do to fix this issue, i would greatly appreciate it.

Hey thanks to the person who recommended the puck method! I find the puck can still slide up of you suck too hard.

Are people still using those cermanic disk screens? Why does it say on the SSV page not to use them in vaporizers?

thanks

I think you can guage the battery strength by seeing how hot the mouthpiece gets. On red, does it get hot enough after a minute or two that it's almost uncomfortably hot if you leave your lips on it very long? If so, I'm guessing that the battery is still ok.

With your changed screens could you be drawing too quickly through the unit?

Well i used the flowermate after a full charge until the light on the vape turned green, so i can make sure i am using it to its full potential.

The vape was hardly drawing any vapor at all, even upon initial fire up with fresh herbs. I can tell that not much vape was drawing through when i inhaled into the vape, because i did not feel the hot vapour on my throat like i used to when i would use this vape and get proper vape clouds.

Every since i changed the screens, it has not changed the effect the vaporizer heats up the herbs, even though i am able to pull through the new screen in the mouth piece better, the vape is simply not vaporizing the herbs hot enough for vapor to be produced.

The batteries in this model are robust and last a long time. There's no way they're going to crap out after 3 months. My DaVinci's battery sessions didn't last nearly as long even when new, and over two years later it's still producing vapor like a new unit. Only the length of the session has decreased. Whatever the issue is with your unit, it's not due to the batteries they use or the vape design.
