I spoke with Iolite months ago, and all the units they have are 2.0. They aren't getting rid of old models.
EDIT: See that this offer is from some online shop. Iolite directly had the same offer with guaranteed 2.0 units.

A WISPR 2 for $99 ? Can Ya tell me where and how to get one @Jack Sprat . I assumed vapor nation was getting rid of their old wispr stock for that price. Since i already have 2 wisprs I don't need another but really wanna try a WISPR 2, if i can pick one up for $100 bucks or less I'd go for it in a heartbeat.

Wispr 2 on sale for $118.30 at Iolite's site. Wish I would have seen that $99 deal! Would have taken a flier on that.
What do you guys NOT like about your wisper 2?
Just hate my og iolite always "sessioning" on for a short and slightly random amount of time after i tell it to turn off before it does actually turn off.
Man.... good thing i didn't see that sell.
l LOVE my iolite but i just HATE the way the wisper looks... By that i don't mean the retro-ness (like it, not really my thing but looks good and preforms function) but the shape of the sides!
If iolite just beveled the sides at least a lil' bit I probly would have bought two of them already.... it's literally the only reason i haven't bought one. The extra amount of bevel\taper on the sides of original make tooo comfy in the front pocket.
Mmmm.... Guessing I could make a big stink about how they pulled my favorite bright green and replaced it with puke baby green (there are other color's I do like, but they are not my FAVORITE now are they?) or how there us no x on glass accessories.... ummm..... ummmm... oh yeah AND it runs on petrol chemicals! Lol sorry being silly. Really can't think of anything to complain about other then the super square sides completely ruining it for me. :'(

RETRACTION:
I originally posted some negative points about the Wispr when I tried it.
Primarily, that the hot hit combined with the draw tubes material left a bitter taste in my mouth.
I never gave it a second thought, as the form factor also was less than inviting to me.
I also had MANY patients that had bought a Wispr that had that same pesky leak we hear about.
It sat on a shelf for a year, until a recent donation arrived for the Paying it Forward program.
It was a Wispr 2.
I kick started it to see that it functioned well, and was motivated to bust out my Wispr.
I did and decided to give it a serious go.
The taste was the same, but I did not mind it so much this time, and I was determined to complete a session
A great session .
Thick clouds were trailing behind my car as I puffed away at this Wispr.
(yes I do vaporize while driving.... always.. no exception!)
I love the window that allows us to see the fuel level.
The new 'rush' from using a different delivery system was exhilarating.
I also love the instant 'off' feature that allows me to shut that puppy down the second I want the butane feed to stop.... no cycling down as with Iolite.
I still do not like the shape, and the Iolite itself can actually hold more meds, and provide a longer session...
BUT I love the Wispr now.
Shape and appearance are not always the only consideration, as I have gotten very well medicated on a single session repeatedly with the Wispr.
This has been a formal retraction to any patients that I may have told privately that I disliked the Wispr.
Dislike is a definitive word.
I may like Vanilla better than chocolate.. I may have told folks I disliked chocolate, because in relation to Vanilla I do perhaps.
But if I am served choclate and there is no vanilla.. I eat the chocolate rather than not eat Ice Cream.
I like the Wispr.

Well, that was a quick and easy trouble shoot. Thanks PoisonousHydra.@misanthrope Do me a favour and: fill the unit up completely with butane; wait 30 seconds or so; turn it on; immediately when it fires up, put your ear to the bottom butane valve. If you hear a "hissing" sound, then you have one of the infamous leaky units. I have found that the leaks are always much worse under full pressure, and when running, which is the root of my suggestions.
I noticed my butane wasn't lasting long at all. Followed instructions you wrote here. Watched as a full tank went to half in less than a minutes use.
A shame. I really like this vape.
Just bought it so a return will be painless.

A wispr 1, I bought about 4 months ago, just started having ignition and staying lit problems. I sent it back to Ireland.
Seeing as they don't make the first version any more so I am hoping for an upgrade!
My wispr 2 had troubles lighting in the cold the other day. Anyone have tricks to keep it warm enough to lite in freezing temperatures?

I wonder if it might be a condensation issue. If it had been in the cold, then put in your jacket, it might produce some condensation. Upon attempted reuse, it may have been interfering with ignition.
My thinking is like this. For myself, I treat my vapes the same way I do firearms and cameras when it comes to cold. With both those, condensation will arise if they are taken from the cold and put into a warm environment. Thus the value of cases. Leaving them in there will allow them to slowly come up to temperature.
I have no idea if this is the case or not...................but I see no reason why this wouldn't take place, so I error on the side of caution. I did in a Canon 7D by not taking adequate precautions on this issue. That repair was an expensive lesson. I do know that I get a lot of condensation in my stems when I use in cold temps...................cold being relative of course.
