stay true to yourselves
I am all Classics and Satchmos; Classics are IMO perfect for the day trip or stuffed for a weekend.
I like the classics but I don't find them totally suitable for a chopped mix. I'm usually at a table where I can pour it out & scrape it into the bowl, but I can't get my fingers in there to pinch it out myself. I think this is where a Chico would be awesome. Do you own a chico?

I would not own a chico, it might be good for you but it doesn't meet my needs.

I only really have steady access to wet concentrates so it would not be suitable for those, and its capacity is not large enough for my flower meds [even on a day trip].

Your issues getting fingers inside the Classics is understandable but kinda moot; I don't believe they were designed with the intention of fitting adult fingers inside to pinch out herb. Rather, I use it with my stems (a la Ed's & JoDa) and simply suck up what I need into the chamber like a straw:D I have Classics I use for unground but for the most part I use them for ground meds and keep unground in the Satchmos.

There is some talk of it in the grinder thread, but I will always avoid dumping out my ground onto a table or tray... just another place to loose pollen. I typically load vapes directly from the collection chamber of a 4-piece (or 3-piece), or I dump directly from the grinder into a Classic and suck with a stem as needed.

@JyARz I'm going to be placing my order in the next hour or so, I'm super stoked. I am just having a hard time deciding on if I want to take advantage of the drop or just hit up your site. Call me crazy but I think your price dropped around a couple bucks on the og's?! If that is the case I'm even more tickled. Have a great day everyone.

I've got another JYaR few weeks ago and it's that new white rubber.
That rubber looks better, smells different and much less than the latex on my old one.
But there's one little thing... it's somewhat stickier. And so the bottom rubber sticks to the glass when I close it completely.
In a way that I can't easily get the glass out. It always lifts up the bottom rubber with a great resistance before it detaches and goes off. Then I have to push that rubber back down.
Is this going to fade away with time or is a good idea to slightly "lubricate" that bottom rubber with something.

When I turn the jyarz container upside down, the glass slowly falls out. Given all of the positive reviews, I am surprised.

Has anyone who has ordered multiple jyarz noticed quality control issues? I ordered two classic containers in black and milky beige. The glass insert in the black container fits snugly, but the milky beige container is slightly bigger, the glass insert slightly jiggles and falls out easily if turned upside down. Is this typical? I haven't seen similar complaints on this thread. Seller is letting me send it back for an exchange, but I'll have to pay shipping.

Mine stay in via suction/vacuum.

I wish mine did slip out easily when turned upside down. I have to pry the glass insert out with my finger.

Why is it an issue/ problem that the glass comes out if turned upside down?

I don't think the problem was it sliding out easily as much as it was the jiggling around. I would not want mine moving around or feeling movement while in my pocket. It also is sad he has to pay for the shipping back as quality should stay the same across the board in all of the lines. I sure hope I do not run into those problems. I do plan on ordering direct however.

When it's closed in pocket the glass can't move at all inside as the rubber in the lid is pressing on it.
Sliding slowly in and out is a good feature imo.
And in rare cases when you don't want it like emptying it upside down - you can simply hold the glass with a finger or just do it quickly, everything will fall out before the glass.

Ouch. The Jyarz Massdrop is looking kinda anemic. Too soon I think...

I was kind of anemic...not sure why as business is generally very very good, with large wholesale orders going to some of the largest dispensaries on the planet....I can't announce that just yet but I'll get the word out when I can.

Call me old fashioned, but when i grind up herb I like to dump it out into my Ascent/ EQ bowl. Does everyone just use the jyarz for sucking up herb with a glass wand? I guess if this is the only way you use the container it wouldn't be an issue. Yes, I can hold my finger on the glass so it doesn't slip out, but for a premium price, it should stay in place via suction. An easy fix would be to wrap some scotch tape around the glass until its thick enough to stay in place....but if I or others have to do that then what is the point. I shoudn't have to worry about broken glass and grounds mid-session (especially if it's really potent stuff!).

I'm sorry, but you can not expect the glass in these to be 100% perfect at this price, it's the nature of glass. If JyARz were to tighten their acceptable tolerances on the glass (it's tight enough IMO), the product would become too expensive and would not be successful. You have a few ideas for simple fixes to your problem, I think you should try them. I'd use a Post-It note(s) cut to my liking. You could also buy a few extra glass core replacements and have a better chance to get the perfect fit you're after.

Thanks. And I'm prepared to do a special to include a Chico and Satchmo if people here are interested. We don't need to

Hgher tolerances on the glass production would triple to cost of the glass - which means the price for a Classic would be about $20 before shipping. I made a subjective "call" and decided the current tolerances are sufficient to produce a high quality product. Most people agree. I never expected that EVERYONE would.

And some people regularly remove the glass for various purposes. So locking the glass in isn't necessarily desirable for everyone. And the shock absorbers in the cap and base work when the glass is free to shift "vertically" - if you lock the glass down too tightly the shock absorption is compromised ... also not desirable in my opinion.

Or just a simple o ring around the top of the glass to keep it in place, cheap and easy.

Would love a Chico satchmo special!

OK ;-)

When you buy a Chico and a Satchmo you'll get an additional $5.90 off your purchase. The total will be $31.00 plus shipping. Without any discount the price would be $41 and $36.90 without this discount offering.

The coupon code is:

FC-Special

And it's good through November 30th.

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
