Mine came with short and long stems. I started with the long stem but found it to be a broken stem waiting to happen. Ever since I have used the short stem and could not imagine using anything else.

ive had my stem crack from me putting it into the hole. Cracked around the tip. Was easy to fix. just ground down the cracked areas with some sand paper and put a small bevel back onto it so it fits into the hole no problem. Made it like 2mm shorter.

I think it'd be really interesting to hear, how many boxes Magic Fight has made and how many sold... :o

unfortunately I have to take basically a 5 year T-Break (not due to any legal issues, but more family stuff)

but anyways, i have an extra brand new MFLB , which was *JUST SOLD

I wonder what the MFLB will look like 5 years from now,... ha

How soon is soon? What wood choices would be available? A walnut color box to match my walnut PD would look cool!

You folks encouraged me to try the acrylic tube. I'd only ever used it native and thought it was great so why bother? Well, you guys are right! Taste is much improved and the slightly annoying little blasts of heat at times are good to git rid of. Truly amazing. I thought I had the flavor potential maxed already but this is exctiing.

Awesome!! I've been using the stem since day one!!

I've been using it native since I lost the stem while out on the town. I think it was the long stem, about the size of the box itself. Native is fine but you cant see the vapor flowing.. I think i'll look for a replacement.

I have used my one-and-only-shipped medium stem only a few times in the last month I have owned my LB and has already cracked in pieces. :(
I was very careful with putting it in but it was very tight from the beginning and didn't last long.

Any recommendations for alternative stems (more durable ones)? Could it be a warranty issue? Nahhhh.....:p

Also another question: How do you control the temp with a medium or longer stem or whip??? I always tend to bake my stuff at higher temperatures when using them and end up with a lot of black ABV and harsh taste. I can't tell how hot it is because for me when vapor comes to the end of the tube it's always rather cold while the trench blackens my stuff.

If you bought your MFLB at Blissville, do you still need to send MF the serial number>

Thanks in advance

how on earth do you people keep craking stems?!?!? I guess im just careful??

I lose them not break them. Blisssville will charge you like a buck or 2 shipping if you order stems only (I bought 5 a few months back and have 4 left) as long as you mention something in the comments section of your order. All said and done it was like $4 or $5 for 5 stems i think.

I still want a blown colored glass stem for home :p may have to have that custom made

I never lost or broke a stem. I just avoided the inevitable. The short stem also makes it easier to stash the lb in the console of my car.

Hey MF,
Just got the PA, looking forward to testing it :p
One bad thing I noticed within minutes, is that I get a small shock from touching the "battery" (when the unit is connected to the wall but not pressing the button), and also the screws that attach the cord to the "battery".
The electricity system in my country is 220V, so I use a converter, I suppose that's the reason?
Would it be safe to wrap some non-conducting tape around the part that doesn't go inside the LB?

Edit: Damn, when the "battery" is inside, the copper wire is conducting too, it gets tricky holding this thing now

Edit 2: Wow. An extra kiefy bowl produced such a huge cloud on the first hit... I don't care if it stings me, it's worth it.

Also, I've been using the short stem for over a year now, even after slightly ruining it with iso. Still like it better than native or the medium stem.

I have had a mflb for a year now and I just ordered the pa. Those of you who have your pa's already how long did it take for them to arrive?

sounds like you are combusting...but you say you cant feel if its hot or not? mhmm thats odd, make sure you arnt grinding too fine you dont want it to be like powder or else it will burn in a heartbeat...i find i like to grind medium grade grind and fill the trench just below the top of the screen. make sure that the grind is right try that and get back to me

I feel it's actually over-cooking and not combustion because there are no traces of ash on the trench or even some resin. About the temperature now... I wonder if everyone has the same feeling of the temp in their mouths or it depends on the individual. When using the medium stem the temp seems lookwarm in my mouth. When native it gets a little hot but I like it. When I try with a straw the length is so big that vapor cools down before it enters the mouth so you don't have any feeling of the temp... Any thoughts?

at home I've attached a 1.5 foot long whip. only real indicator is the taste that's hitting my palette. Using the box native i find it a little harsh.

Hi everyone! Got my LB in Nov 2010 and it is the truth. I was so exicted to receive PA #42 but it worked awesome for one day and quit. I sent a couple emails to MF and to blissville but I haven't heard anything in a week. In case they check these boards more often than they check their email, I figured I'd post it here, as I'm eager to partake in the awesome customer service I've read so much about on here. :(

If you haven't heard from the and it's been a week I would send another email just in case it got lost in SPAM folder. They do have excellent service and usually respond promptly. Fingers crossed for you.
