if you want a cheap vaporizer, please check out the imag and the flowermate v.
there is no need to buy a titan vaporizer, anymore. There are better units for the same low price

hi everybody
i'm from France, so sorry for my english!
i found the manufacturer of the original Titan, he said that the plastic smell is known and a new plastic will be used for molding the mouthpiece. he completes with some recommandations. the new models will arrive on October.
here an extract of our conversation.

in fact, i think the Titan2 is a very good product. the manufacturer looks serious and i wait the new unit with interest. But on my titan1, the bad smell disappears totally after many sessions. Maybe 10. I hope the future Titan2 will be perfect.

I just watched some reviews for the Titan II and it's overwhelming impressing. It's making a play to end 2014 as the portable vape to get, and not just for the price. I must say, I really like the temp control here, not just 3 or 5 presets, any temp you like between 200 and 428 degrees. Pretty cool. Good build quality and vape experience too.

A couple of posters mentioned that they were going to take a look at the vapour path - has anyone done this yet? It would be great to hear any findings.

I have a re-branded titan-1 (called Smart by a company called Rad, which seem to be the bulk of them in the UK). Just for the record:

Mine did have a very strong chemical plastic smell when first heated up. I heated the unit on full power about 5 times before using it, which helped a good deal. Now (a good month down the line), there's no noticeable plastic taste, and I'm very impressed with this vape. My only reservation is that I have no idea how good this is for me - not sure how I feel about breathing heated air through a devise that I'm not 100% sure isn't poisoning me with the materials used.

For this reason, I'm considering getting another well-established vape (the Solo) as my main one, and keeping this for a back-up or when traveling/stealth is the name of the game.

I'm a fan of the HEBE Titan 2. Its incredibly well priced, performs great and is ideal as a backup. Seriously for 78$ why not leave one in your backpack / office desk. RuffHouse sold me on it, they really loved it and I can vouch that the price is right for the device.

$75 is a pisstake IMO more then double the price that this unit is from China but then some people can't stand to wait I have other vapes so eating a few weeks did not bother me when I got a titan 1

How is the vapor production and battery life of the Titan 2 compared to the pax?

Unapproved commercial account.
How is the vapor production and battery life of the Titan 2 compared to the pax?

The Vapor Production of the titan 2 is stronger IMO. I think it has a 1600 mah battery. not sure what the Pax has.

I double checked, the titan 2 has a 2200 mah battery.

the thread appears in a sub directory, i don't saw it!
i have received this new video link from vapor source , about Titan clones. the manufacturer knows the smell problem with some units.

if somebody could give us the lost video link ( the guy blowing in the Titan to show the vapor escaping from the usb port.), thanks'.

It will an opportunity to the manufacturer to see it, for the next upgrade?

I don't know if the problems are solved on the Titan2.

thevideo show a problem on the Titan1. the most criticals are about the plastic or electronic smell. The video give us the reason. The air path is not separated of the body. is on the Titan2 the same

I just got an authentic Hebe Titan 2 last week and the air path does not appear to go thru the USB port (main body). I tried a "suck" test using a smoke stream, and a "blow" test using vapor, and nothing goes in or out of the USB port. All the airflow is through the side vents near the oven (the top part).

Okay...here is my basic review, fwiw...

I cleaned/soaked all the various mouth attachments and did a half dozens empty burns, but the plastic smell and taste did persist until I vaped several sessions through it. Now you can suck on it cold or hot, with or without herbs, and there is nothing but that familiar sweet herby taste.

Everyone keeps mentioning it's similarities to the Pinnacle, but really it's just a small footprint Vapir NO2 with a much larger oven, where you put the herb directly into the oven. I can put 2.5 "NO2 scoops" into the oven, packed or lose, and it works just fine. The air flow, if anything, is probably too free, allowing someone to really blast themselves with hot vape (and not in a good way). But, for the ex-smokers out there, it's no problem if you treat it just like a pipe - take slower, smaller, cooler draws.

Don't know about the Titan-1, but the 2 has an auto shut-off in 10 minutes. Now, on the NO2 (which shuts off in 20), 10 wouldn't be enough, but for some reason, and despite the larger oven, the T-2 is usually done within 10 mins. It cooks quicker and bigger, so it's also harsher and hotter. Taste-wise, really no comparison to the NO2 or even the MFLB for that matter. But hey, it's just a cheap portable - and it does do the job. The only time the unit got uncomfortably hot was yesterday when I refilled it almost immediately cause there was a group of us - it got hot enough so I probably wouldn't have wanted to stick it in my pocket without giving it a 5 minute cool down, but the mouth piece (at least where you'd put your lips) seemed only slightly warm. We chose to always use the black rubber "wand" attachment - it really did seem to help, and if nothing else, got the hottest part of the device further away from your face.

My group of vapers unanimously agreed it was a perfectly fine portable unit, one they would buy and use, but certainly not the one they would chose as their main vape. We also thought it was a fine starter vape, especially for any ex-smoker types. They liked the quicker denser clouds and didn't mind the harsher hotness (which, like I noted, could be moderated with just a little practice).

We thought one of the biggest bonuses was that it used a simple micro-USB charging port, so no need to bring an extra charger or buy some odd-ball car charger - most people already have a charger available at home and car. Those portable external USB battery chargers also work. You can also vape while charging.

My biggest gripe with it is probably it's inefficiency. If I put in twice as much herb into a device, I expect twice the output. With the Titan 2, I don't seem to get that at all. Normally, the single scoop I put into the NO2 is all I need, and I can share it with one other person with decent results. So I'd expect a "2 scooper" device to handle 2 people perfectly, but it doesn't seem to. Maybe I need to mess around with the temp settings some more. I wasn't getting much vape at 370, so I've been running it at 380. Maybe I will try to be more patient at lower temps..

with the titan1 i always set the temp to blue (420°C) for finishing the bowl. this setting still produces a lot of vapor even when on green (middle setting) there was not much anymore. taste is long gone when i do this and sometimes it even starts to get a little bitter, still worth the effects tho!! i dont vape my herb that much usually in other devices, but i feel cheated as well when not going high temp for finishing the bowls...
