I think Glasswaterpipe was the first to post starbucks rigs which quickly popped up elsewhere. Hopefully these other pieces spread quickly as well. Would def get a drop down, the ice cream rig, and the styrofoam cup rig if they were reasonably priced.
Hey guys, what do you think about this one? I don't know the seller, but it looks like this would hit really smooth. But I'm afraid it might be too big for a vaporizer...
Never seen anyone comment on that vendor, you're taking a risk. Also note, the tree-perc looks like they are open on the bottom (very common for chinese) - this means it will chug more, and diffuse less since the side slits won't really fire.
Additionally, as you suspected, that looks like a TON of diffusion - good for combustion, but will rob your vaporizer of flavor. I suggest only using that piece for smoking, and use less diffusion for a vaporizer.
Glass doesn't look too thick, probably no more than 3mm, if that.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered one of the barrel to funnels. Should be here Monday morning. It departed San Fran on Friday.
If anything looks slightly wrong with it or if it seems weak/fragile I'm going to contact him and mention the bad batch of glass and ask for a replacement.
The sellers on DHgate ask you to place another order so they can ship you the replacement free via epacket. If you don't place an order I believe it costs them more to ship the replacement item. So what you do is politely decline, but offer to put an item in your cart so they can adjust the price to $1 then pay the $1 so the seller can ship your replacement via epacket for cheap like normal.
This is what Yingmin5 told me when I needed a replacement from him.

It's kind of like a sidecar if you think about it but the whole bottom part on the 2nd chamber is fairly useless and just serves to keep the piece more stable.

If you watch this video you can see that the legit ones have a thin intake going from one side of the X to the bottom of the other part. Hard to say if they will accurately copy it though or just stick to the X shape.

The above piece is great with the cloud+ but not so great with the solo (draw restriction). So it depends on your vape. Also if you dont mind less flavor but more diffusion. I would try to get a different splash guard though, im not a big fan of tree guards. Also I would do away with the downstem, should be plenty of diffusion already will probably just add unnecessary draw restriction.
If you only have the solo I would stick with smaller low resistance pieces.

I 100% agree that CCG is horrendous!!! I placed an order sept 7th for 3 pieces. I recieved one of the three oct 9th. I'm still awaiting the other 2!! But I will admit I did purchase the grav lab double coin recycler, but I swear that's the last one lol nobody else had it that I saw. I'll prob see that piece before the rest of the other order. But no more CCG for me

@olivianewtonjohn thanks for the tips. I do indeed only have the solo. I found a variant of the WP-1095. Would you say this one is better because it has an additional perc acting as a splashguard? It doesn't have a bent neck though, not sure if I like that...
edit: I just noticed that this is a 14 mm joint so I can't really use that unless I pay another $ 30 for a GonG piece...

Since you have the solo I say find a pipe that likely wont splash anyways and go without the splashguard. The draw is so restricted with the solo no chance of splash, you just have to be alittle cautious on the clear. I think its better to have to be cautious but get an easier draw. I used the D020 (regular) and it was a great pairing. Very portable, just perfect size for the solo. If you want alittle bigger I think the D020-D or GB-187 might be good options
I really like the design, im just wondering if my bong can handle the weight of that, the cloud+, and a 18mm y-adapter? And also wondering if the $ is worth the diffusion? Does it make a big difference?

I like the 1095 trust me the Tree does a marvelous job of being a slash gaurd. It's modest at best. I keep forgetting Tim is using the solo, I still think the 1095 will work well with it. I just experimented and it takes a little more temp than i usually use on my Solo and little longer pull. Id get the GB 187 if available its a replica of the Mobius matrix ion and that's perfect for the Solo. However the 1095 is still a BEAST

Is the D020-D just a bit smaller with a smaller matrix perc? In that case I would prefer the GB-187, but I could only find the it in lots of 20 with Yingmin... Does he or anyone else ever sell them in singles? And why does the matrix perc pair so well with a solo?
Also, aesthetically I like the WP-1095 a lot more than both of the above. But in the end it does have to pair well with the solo because I'm not planning on investing in a cloud any time soon. Ok pick the GB-187 if you can find it. I think that other one you just posted would be higher resistance as well (generally frit perc are kind of restrictive). Could be the person you are citing did not mind it. But I personally do not find it as enjoyable

Here is a side by side of the two, D020=D and the 187, though I think now they are using the finer cut perc on the latest D020=D but this gives you some perspective, they both hit about the same IMO, 187 is just a bit taller, has a slightly larger can, and a bit more volume.

Anyone have any orders go through Chicago ISC instead of the usual Jamaica NY ISC location for this region?
Ordered last week from 3 different vendors and the first one to update shows Chicago ISC which is very strange, every order until now has always gone through Jamaica when using ePacket when ordering from DHgate with China vendors)
Hopefully we'll see this hit dhgate from some other vendors at a cheaper price
