Water tools

Most of the glass pieces in this thread work just fine with the EQ. You just need to make sure it's 18.8 mm female (most are, btw) and the EQ elbow will attach directly into it. I suggest upgrading your tubing to something like this for a better experience, too.

The 'glass pieces' and upgraded tubing are not listed in the note. I am interested in learning more from you. The preference of my responders seems to be water at room temp. or slightly tepid makes the vapor more enjoyable over iced coolers. Do you agree?

Almost there...
Oh a Water tool!
Quite different to a "cooler"

I find that using warm water in my WT's helps a lot with cutting down on the irritation and coughing.
Generally it is room temperature because i am too lazy to change it, so it also works really well!

So to correctly connect your Extreme Q would be this:
http://www.planetvape.ca/extreme-q-gong-water-tool-adapter.html

You just need to decide on which WT you are going to get because of the various joint sizes.

I can recommend this water tool as it has very little drag and diffusion so the taste and flavour are kept very well!

It is from Glass Pipe Maker website which appears to be down for service.

There is also a cheaper Chinese version that looks exactly the same, found here:

Hope this helps you!

@dubbydoo never tried boiling water but would advise starting warm and going up until you find what works best for your situation.
Also be careful to not burn yourself on your water tool with boiling water...

These are the two water tools I used when I was using my EQ. The AquaVape is a nice product to condition the vapor while still leaving a lot of flavor. It's pretty much spillproof, too, which is nice. I use this now with my VB2.

This one is good as far as function goes and provides more filtration for bigger hits. The design isn't great, though, and it's hard to stand up. The size and diffusion are perfect, though, imo, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it at all. Maybe you can find something similar that can stand with tubing attached.

Of course, if I had researched the Chinese glass that lots of FCers use while I was researching vaporizers I'd probably have gone with a Mobius clone or something. Good luck. I loved using the EQ with a water tool for years.
