The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

While the Crafty has two temperature settings available for the user to select, the Mighty has more than 306 available. 104 thru 410 farenheit, as well as any more positions on the celcius scale that fall in between the farenheit degrees. Of course the Crafty App balances that out.

I'm still trying to work out where the air intake holes are on The Mighty. I believe they are located near the blue o-ring that goes around the heating chamber. Because by positioning the holes up there instead of further down, the intake air can be warmer thus requiring less power to maintain the set temp.

That just happened...
I have also tried to figure out where the intake is even going so far as to blowing through a hot unit and observing with infrared camera. I agree it is near the top of the heating chamber.

UPS man just got here, I asked him what took so long :D First impressions, this thing is smaller than I expected. Not by much but definitely more pocket friendly than i though it would be. Feels pretty durable to me as well but I guess only time will tell how much. Charging as I type and will report back once I have a chance to break her in

My question to other owners is does your unit remember the change from celsius to fahrenheit after power cycling? Mine always defaults back to celsius.

Well... here it goes.

My first experience with the Mighty has been a bit of an eye opener. I read a review from @darkrom in the Crafty thread and really hoped that my experience with the Mighty would mimic his with the Crafty. Here is the part that I agree with the most....

"OK... some of you may object to the idea that a vape can't produce stronger effects with one vape than any other. As in all vapor is equal. I've disagreed with that for quite a while now"

I don't know how to explain it really. But I find the quality of vapor produced by the Mighty is on par with any vape I have tried with a dry hit. I know many will find that hard to believe but my response would be lets just agree to disagree.

I find the vapor to be tasty and dense, and the experience very similar to hitting a dry stem with my UD. Flavor is right there with it (Maybe even better IMO, need a longer test period to be sure).

I am by no means a vapor newb. I have tried many vaporizers and without a doubt the vapor quality is IMO better than any other portable I have tried. IMO it is desktop quality vapor with no cord.

This first review is just my initial impressions and I want to stress that everything I just wrote is completely my opinion and in no way meant to be fact. I know there will be people who don't like a product for one reason or another but in my opinion S&B just raised the bar (High)!

I'll answer any questions I can, and will chime in with any info I can as I learn the device. For now, I'll finish by saying, as long as this vape is working, I will never reach for another portable at home.

*Edit*

IMO as I am finishing the bowl on my first session, the only vape I have personally tried that offers tastier vapor is the Cloud. I have not tried the FF but have heard that it is a tasty vaporizer as well.

Have you ever tried a MiniVAP? If you have, how would you rate the flavor, and smoothness.
Right now I'm undecided between this vape and the mini.

I have never tried the Minivap so I cannot compare the two. I would rate the flavor on Par with the Solo and my UD. I consider those two to be about the same flavor wise with dry hits (About an 8/10). The Cloud being 10/10.

As far as smoothness, I find it amazing how smoothe the hits are for how dense the vapor is.

*Edit*

Just loaded a fresh bowl. I'm liking 185c as a temp so far. Really amazed at how easy this thing is to use and the lack of draw resistance. Draw resistance is very similar to the UD IMO.

I'm considering the Mighty and view it's strongest competition as the miniVAP. The miniVAP is my main vape and I absolutely love it. The flavor is remarkable and it's so smooth.
I probably shouldn't derail this thread so I'll PM you more comments on the miniVAP.
Owning the miniVAP, there's probably no need to get a Mighty, but it intrigues me and
gets my VAS fired up.

Ok, so I just realised the same thing has occured to me as with the Solo originally - it appeared way bigger from initial pics than what it actually is.

This actually looks like it'll be a usable size for my purposes :D

So has anyone worked out how to best connect this to a bubbler yet? I wanna see if this can be done and what results we might get!

Also, is there any plastic taste at all with this unit?

Personally, I can taste there is plastic in my mouth but there is no taste of plastic when drawing vapor.

Similarly when using a glass mouthpiece, I can taste that there is glass in my mouth but there is no taste of glass when drawing vapor.

Hope that makes sense, kind of vaked right now :ko:
