So after having tried the KISS carts for awhile I have a question for you all. Do you really enjoy the taste of the 7.4v?

I think the 3.7v 1701 donut, globe and KISS carts all taste amazing. Particularly the new Ti Gr2 coils paired with the black wicks. But I've tried the 7.4v KISS carts on my Persei with and without the Okeanos and it is just really harsh.

My Herc on the other hand delivers monster clouds that taste incredible at 7.4v. I've actually never tried the SR-74 at 3.7v and now I think I should pull out that black rod and see how I like it.

I find 7.4v Kiss carts to be too harsh as well. That's where I started and I pretty quickly started wishing I had some kind of bubbler to filter through.

I went from there to SR71 at 3.7v. It's a lot less harsh and tastes great but is a little slow to warm up. I found the 7.4v rod to be pretty ideal. It can kick out some heavy clouds pretty quick but it's not super harsh and the flavor is still good. I just wish it didn't drain battery quite so quickly.

I agree, 7.4 is a little too intense for me, I like relaxing with my friend 3.7. Although 7.4 for herc is just fine, how mellow or as intense it is depends on the user.

Definitely a massive imrpovement with the new button!

should this button screw need any adjustment though? Not going to lie, i am getting an occasional misfire, but when it hits it ACTUALLY hits. it's definitely never performed like this before.
Hopefully I get mine!.. It's in the postmans hands now.
If I'm not mistaken, a occasional misfire is normal.

Make sure the center pins are seated correctly and the base is flat against the ptfe discs.

The gold piece needs to be screwed all the way in with a little torque and no more

@slvelocity no word yet from our glass blower, he's had a death in the family and we are here to support him for however long he needs to get us the nibbler line.

G, my friend has started carrying the Persei at his shop. He told me that it didn't come with a 18650 battery. Are the newer Perseis still variable voltage via battery configuration , or do you need the Core or Iris?

sometimes i wonder if my ptfe disks are ever so slightly not level but then i convince myself im just medicated cause ive pushed both sides pretty hard with the flat end of some plyers

at any rate holy shit my RDA choked me out after like 3 seconds.

Yes they can still handle the 18650 but the kits come as 7.4v configuration.

@itschad

what i do is i insert the center pins on the ptfe discs first to make sure they centered and flat then i insert the discs by pushing them in from the center pins one at a time.

I didn't adjust my button screw at all. I just put it in and tried it like that. I've had a misfire or two tho, but pushing it a tiny bit more fixed it, but nothing like I had to push b4! My little ego c-twist was actually giving me bigger hits with my kiss globe!! Not anymore!!! Now the 8 is working like the BEAST that it was meant to be, and that I knew it was!!! I'm definitely happy with my purchase now!!

I'd rather have an occasional misfire than an occasional fire lol

only occasional miss fire was when we thought we applied pressure but actually did not.

Simply just stopping after the button stops going inward isnt going to fire it 100% you need to apply a few more grams of force to get it to fire 100% all the time.

Hey G one of the little plastic o rings broke on my bottom pin, will the new button assembly fix my current problem by replacing it? Or do i need a new one?

triply so.

as long as i keep the pressure up my hits are awesome
So I decided to go home and pick mine up during lunch. This definitely fixed my issues. You do need good pressure on the button, but it's wayyyy easier than before. I want to thank G and his team for getting this fixed this fast. I will keep on using and will update you guys.
