@t-dub, do you have a Kill-A-Watt?

My timer was adjusted to one hour, perfect for me to keep it on all day. The last two heater burn outs happened after it was on for a few hours on High at 58 watts. It's now set at 56watts and I am timid to leave it running.

No, don't have one. The timer can go that high? I thought I was maxed. If mine goes in again I will change it so it matches the EVO and I can cycle just 24 times instead of 48/day.

Que music in 1,2,3...
Reunited because it feels soo goooood !

Glad to have my CeramFam peps back in the dab saddle.
We've beenon my mind.

Hey quick fun tip. Don't be afraid to drop your drysift in the VB2. I've been cleaning my grinder keif with. Little 4 screen set I scored from ATL.
And the results are quite pleasing. Someone told me the other day he had an oz of kief I couldnt help telling him to buy a drysift set and a vb2 you'll be glad you did.

CeramFam wishes and terpene dreams my friends.

Not so fast my friends. Mine is kaput again . . . :| At least now I can get the timer adjusted and maybe have the feet looked at.

Fired her up this morning, lost one of my heaters.

Sounds like VB has a fix for the heater issue coming shortly.

I heard this as well. New heater coming but it's a month out. I'm trying to decide what to do. The issue is this: I meet my provider only twice per year and I really want to show him the VB2, however, if I send it in and wait, he will miss it.

UPS travel time from me is long enough I am just going to let them sit on it until the new heaters come in. I can't handle her coming into my life and taking off 3 days later anymore, lol.

Shit, ceramic is so hard to keep happy under intense heating and cooling! The recent burnouts freak us out but yes.. it hurries our efforts to get the new heater in there. It's a type of ceramic material that we didn't prefer at first, being a rougher texture and darker color than current. It heats up even faster. As long as we don't start cracking housings by heating them too fast we'll go ahead and shorten the heatup time.

Using a timer to trick your VB2 into being on forever should be just fine. By the way, we can disable or modify your auto-off time during repair... just bug us to do it. My favorite is 30 min.

Proud new owner of a VB2. Been using it with an elbow adapter & sidecirc hydro tube. Quite happy. Very straight forward device.

Any tricks I should know to help maintain the life of the heater?

I am definitely not the person to get heater advice from, I burned up 3.
Me either . . . sent mine back again. I'm opting to wait for the new heater as well. This last failure must have been a good one. When I picked my VB2 up to pack it there were chunks inside . . . :uhoh: I'm also going to have them disable the auto shutoff.

That's the spirit!

One hour works great but that was also for heater preservation. I might have them disable mine altogether if they are confident in this new heater.

Hi guys! We'll do our best to fix any of these units burning out! Any repair unit we get will get updated to the latest heater & electronics automatically. We can handle some custom requests like changing the auto-off time or disabling it altogether- There is no charge for that yet so feel free to request.

A new heater is being tooled and tested asap... Can't estimate when, but I'm ready for it to be ready. It won't be a clean and shiny white, but it has a rapid heatup and doesn't seem to break no matter what we do to it.

We're working with such high temperatures since VB2 on its highest setting is as hot as a glowing nail... This is like what Hive is going through. We have to watch out... With the rapid heatup we have to watch we don't explode the housing from being heated too quickly in one spot. It's quite a balance. Thanks for your patience, and we're super happy people are loving the hits they're getting.... keep it going...!

Ahh CeramFam. The pains of broken ceramics I'm with you.
Here are a couple of disks one big and one smaller both broke in similar spots.

I know this is hard to go through but blazing a path always takes more effort. I have had the unique pleasure of hitting many of today's " torchless" options and the VB2 Never disappoints in the flavor and smooth hit department.

Growing pains. It's a pain but I'm proud to be part of the growing up of concentrate inhalation. Thanks for hanging in there.

Terpene wishes & CeramFam wishes my friends.

VB2 out for repair. Turned it on, heard a loud pop. Light up sequence went from flashing to solid green. Even when turned off. Also heated up to glowing hot. (ceramic disk as well).

After turning it off and cleaning (and allowing for any alcohol to evaporate etc), I plugged it in to my wall (Previously plugged in a surge protector). Turning it on and it instantly reset the breaker in my kitchen.

Hope it's back by the Holidaze, have some company I wanted to share it with.

Sorry to hear, it is a bummer when it goes out but so nice when it gets back.
VB is very quick on their end but UPS ground is slow on a good day and unreliable around the holidays. I have not even unboxed my VB2 I got back on Monday and saving it for the masses that will be coming by the next few weeks, not sure how much longer I can hold out though.

Can't wait til I get my hands on one. Isn't this the end of innovation for concentrates at the desktop level. Now it is time to create a portable version. It looks like the industry is shifting more towards portable. I don't want to keep hitting exposed wires with my portable pen.

Not sure if this is a question or statement.
If a statement.. well yes.. it is so far the "end".
If a question, ... well.... HELL no..
The Vapor Brothers are never satisfied to leave well enough alone.
Th VB2 is here for public use, true... but Vaporbrothers spends much time elbows deep in
a ceramic, glass and electrical current laden world, to make things arrive at a superior 'next level'.
This is not a company that rests on it's laurels.
It is a couple of dabbing, Vaporizing, geniuses that are fanatics about making the world a happier place via Mother Nature's gift
