Cable and satellite are both going downhill 'cause internet, so to me they're both like greedy rats chasing after discarded crumbs on a sinking ship of denial, fuck 'em both. This is what I read earlier:

Dish, which has about 14 million subscribers, said the channels were removed after Turner refused to extend the current agreement.

"In the past year, Dish has successfully renewed agreements with many large content providers," Warren Schlichting, Dish senior vice president of programming, said in a statement. "As a result, we are confident that we have offered a deal to Turner that reflects an appropriate value for our customers."

Turner countered that it had already made concessions in negotiations and blamed Dish for channels' removal.

"Turner has worked diligently for months to come to a fair agreement including multiple extensions and compromises, and it's unfortunate that Dish is once again operating in a disruptive manner that takes away networks and programming from their customers," Turner Broadcasting said in a statement. "We are hopeful our counterparts will return to the negotiating table, and we'll get a deal completed."

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I mentioned that Calli has kidney disease in the Parkinson's thread. Well, she has also taken a drastic turn for the worse. She is Aramis's mommy, both calicos. I think the Vet was mistaken about how bad it was because she is getting worse a lot quicker than he said she would. Now I am sitting here with another one of our furbabies dying in my lap.

This started immediately after Sable passed away. She is refusing to eat and drink. She won't even touch tuna or chicken, her favorites. We put a diaper on her, just in case because we will be sleeping with her until she passes, just like we did with Sable. This will be three of our babies in a month's time. If this is some kind of test, I'm failing miserably, so fuck me. :(

I'm trying, but it's really hard. I'm losing weight because I'm just not hungry. Hubby is forcing me to eat, and I'm forcing myself, as much as I can. I won't lie, I'm a wreck. I don't sleep much, and I don't even know what day it is anymore.

I knew it would be hard having special needs animals, and most of our babies are either elderly, disabled, or special needs. I knew these times would come, but not like this.

If this is some kind of test, I'm failing miserably.

I'm very sorry, Vickie. What a horrible sequence of endings. I don't believe in those kind of tests so it looks like a very unfortunate turn of events from here. I have seen weakened animals do what some people do, which is give up trying to muscle through after a great loss. And cats AND dogs are more like humans than we generally give them credit for.
The love they give you and you give them is all that really matters when it comes right down to it. It is obvious that you have a lot of love to give, and that makes for a better world for all who surround you. I'm quite sure all your pets get it. It's we humans who have the most difficulty understanding...

FUCK sad endings and FUCK the pain that comes with them.

So sorry, Vicki.

Just remember that your cats' had the best family they could have hoped for and lived as good a loved life as they were able to. They leave you and your Hubby to grieve for them, but they remain alive in your thoughts and your heart for the rest of your lives. From what I can tell...they were very lucky.

Oh yeah...FUCK death. Especially when it takes away that which we love unconditionally!!

I just recently lost our loved one too..I have been to saddened to respond to pet threads..but I will tell you Vicki that they are so lucky to have you and hubby in their lives. You LOVED them and they KNEW...That makes alot of difference. Fuck loosing loved ones...

And while we're at it, FUCK Storz & Bickel AGAIN (!) for asking me to pay $469 for what looks like a very nice vape. So far I see very little wrong with it OTHER than the price, but the chances that I might EVER put that kind of scratch into a vape are extremely remote. That, of course, is about ME, not the vape, but I'm just sayin...

Of course, if someone had said to me a year ago that I would invest $1000 or so over the next year in a new method of getting high and all of it's accoutrements (not including the bud) I would have called them CRAZY, so one never knows what the future might hold...
