Discontinued Indica Vaporizer

Shit Snacks

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
I think it does have warranty. It's the one on ebay. It comes with a free grinder and a small air tight container.
@Shit Snacks Do you think the Noir is noticeably better?

It depends, it has improvements on airflow (wider vaporpath and mouthpiece hole), more isolated airpath with new gaskets (by mouthpiece and around oven), slight tweaks to software for battery and temps, manufacturer-replaceable batteries for whenever they do die, silicone cap for mouthpiece, and greatly improved quality control to ensure everyone is getting that perfect indica we a want and deserve. If you were to get a defective unit tho, and its under warranty, no issue getting it replaced though (maybe check to ensure warranty coverage, the seller might be wiing to send a replacement then self if they have a return policy).

Basically, if you like silver (it is gorgeous), and don't mind not getting some of those little upgrades, the original is still a fantastic device that I can wholeheartedly recommend. Afterall, it is what solidified the indica as my favorite portable in the first place

Hello from a long time lurker first time poster.

I've been watching this topic daily to make sure I knew exactly when the noir was released. I was super excited when I went on my lunch break Friday and saw they were accepting orders for the noir. By 12:03 I had figured out the discount code and placed my order, only $192.75 with ground shipping and no sales tax (not sure if everyone gets that deal or it's because I'm in Oregon). I haven't had a portable vaporizer since my iolite ignition went out, and I used only Newport Butane.

My question now is has anyone had the noir ship out yet? Mine still says processing. I figured since it was just after noon on Friday when I ordered it that it must have been too late in the day and would ship Monday. Now it is after noon on Monday and still processing. Just worried it won't ship out today either which would kinda suck.

My only working vaporizer at the moment is my Silver Surfer and it isn't meant to be portable although I have used it in the car. I was hoping to have my indica sometime this week as I am going to a party this weekend, and well let's be honest I wanted to show it off. Not to mention if it works as amazing as all the reviews say it does then I'd probably bring indica some referral business.

So to the other lucky people waiting on their noirs, let's keep each other posted as to when they ship. I'm glad I just paid for ground shipping as I'd be getting a little antsy if I paid for two day delivery and it took longer than two days just to get on its way.

Modnote: Back-to-back posts merged.

Well my antsy wife messaged indica on their Facebook and got a response that they are doing their best to ship them out today and will keep us updated.

I'll update when I get a shipping confirmation.

The Noir I'm sure will be worth the wait. It's suppose to be an improvement from my Indica V2 beta unit and it's awesome. You guys won't be disappointed. Everyone that has tried the one that I have, really have fallen in love with it.
I have a friend that's new to vaping and she liked the Indica over my Solo.
I have my Indica with a bit of Chocolate Chunk strain this blustery fall evening. No more lazy evenings outside. I'm looking forward to see what @Ed's TnT comes up with far as a GonG is concerned for the Indica. It may take a couple weeks. I know Ed's busy. Genius takes time.

i can't wait... so does this thing produce more vapor than the solo?

I had the Pax but it was total disappointment.

Way better flavor than the Pax IMO. The Pax vape seemed like it produced very harsh vapor after the first few minutes. Flavor is where it's at with the Indica. Flavor is on par with the Ascent and the Solo. The Solo is my go to vape. I enjoy using the Indica too.

Flavor is on par with the Ascent and the Solo.

Eh, I'd argue the Indica produced a more "roasted" flavor than my Ascent. Especially at the low temperatures. Once you get into the higher temperatures, the flavor was similar.

The Indica is still way better in flavor than the Pax, but the Ascent still has practically the best flavor of any vape I currently own.

However, I personally am willing to trade flavor for stealth. My Ascent is way bigger and bulkier, and more noticeable with it's huge glowing OLED screen. The Indica doesn't attract the same level of attention

So after my order was processed yesterday, today I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a package. Didn't expect it to be so quick!

Sorry to break your hearts but it's the V2 SS, not the Noire. But I'm not fussed, waiting for the painful first charge to get done before firing it up tonight!

Does anyone know of any simple upgrades or mods we can easily do ourselves to make the Indica better? Also, can we can vape tea leaves with it?

Please don't make me create another Lounge thread to hold all those "Mine is shipping!" "Has anyone got theirs yet?" "I ordered and it says processing." "How long does it take to ship to my house?" "Still waiting on shipping." "Are we there yet?" "I need to pee." posts.

Sorry about discussing the processing times for the new indica in the indica thread. I just wanted to see if other people were in the same boat (waiting for the noir to ship still) and this seemed like the best place to do it. I will no longer bring up anything shipping related in this topic.

Don't take it personally. That definitely wasn't aimed at you. There's nothing wrong with wanting to know that.

You have just joined and I assume you've not seen this phenomenon in other threads. Everyone joins in and the thread turns into page after page of shipping status posts. If it gets out of control we have to start moving the posts to a thread were they won't interfere with people coming here to get information about the Noir. I was actually joking about making a new thread because we already have one. Please don't feel offended if you find your post moved there.

That makes sense. People shouldn't have to dig through a bunch of shipping discussions to get to the actual topic.

No offense at all if my posts are moved. I thank you for putting my posts in the appropriate thread. I'm stil in the learning phase for this particular message board.

Ok guys. All comments are being heard and addresses. As you know we changed to Magento form a past shopping cart service. All has worked well but the integration with our UPS account and email notification is not fully functional. This should be up and running in a day or two, I hope. Don't be surprised if the Indica "noir" you purchased arrives before your notification this week.

On a second note, I'm currently at a trade show and a bit out of pocket. I'll do my best to chime in, but my lack of presence has been due to refocusing on sales energy this week.

Catch you all shortly,
Michael

I can say with confidence the Noir is worth the wait.
The changes from the beta units are slight but significant.
I am now using my SS Noir, its a step up from the black beta units for sure.
Lovin it every day.

Looking forward to Ed catching up when he returns.
Can't wait for a mouthpiece and Wong!!!

So, while waiting for my preferred online retailer to stock the Noirs, how is the Noir different from the betas? Cleaner taste, better battery, improved vapor production?

Eh, performance wise, I will say the Noir is better than my beta. *but* I'm not entirely convinced the noir's black finish is up to the task. I've already got two shiny scratches on my Noir. I wonder if stainless steel can be anodized and be a more durable option

 Poor @Indica Vaporizer. People clamoured for a black "stealthier" Indica and he gave us one, but still not good enough for some.
