If it's too expensive for you then don't buy it. My og sub is the best way I have ever consumed concentrates and it was worth every cent.

Many like myself are not educated enough in electro hardware to be safe conducting such a venture as has been suggested.

Am I alone in feeling that the sublimator should have a major price adjustment? Price Drop?

The newest version of Extreme Q selling on planetvape.ca is priced at $189.99. This includes everything, all accessories, you need to utilize FULL multifunction vaporization.

As opposed to the Sublimator launch controller priced at $264.97 (you couldn't just round up PV?) plus the additional sublimator launch controller power supply priced at $73.97 :\ Totaling a whopping $338.94 just for the damn power supply!:suspicious::tinfoil::uhh::mental::disgust::bang: WTF! lol - What gives - In this economy give me a break.

The stainless apollo heating device with nothing else is priced at $194.95 on pv. The Adapt-A-Sub Apollo Kit is priced at $539.95! This price excluded the apparatus to actually use the before mentioned product! Requiring your own apparatus to "adapt" your own. What ever way you skin it requires additional $$$.

So unlike the EQ & Volcano Classic priced on pv at $529.95, which can be used out of the box requiring no additional $$$$. We are asked to spend $779.95 on the apollo "kit" OR $914.95 for the stainless steel "kit" version :uhoh: to have this out of the box utilization that most vaporizer companies understand is normal and reasonable practice in this day and age. :shit:

What am i missing here? Must we seriously spend a grand to purchase a vaporizer that gets the job done?

Enrico Bouchard is cool and all but highly unprofessional and legally reckless IMHO bringing additional question into the whole equation!

No offense intended to any above parties just seeking some answers.

No offense? You've just used bold and underlining to attack Enrico and you follow that with "No offense"? If you're insulting someone don't pretend you didn't mean it. It makes you look
like an insincere coward.

Two points: first, you don't have the slightest clue about the costs involved in designing and bringing the Sublimator to market, so when you throw around numbers and follow them with question marks, all you do is make yourself look like an ignorant fool. Second, we have rules, and it seems you've overlooked some parts:
  • All members must be treated in a respectful and adult manner.
  • Do not post any content that harasses, insults, belittles, threatens or flames another member.
You don't exempt yourself by following your insult with "No offense". Learn to be respectful and to take responsibility for yourself.

So sorry that I'm a coward and ignorant! hahaha can't address the points i raised but can trash me? ok cool sorry for the rule breaking fuckcombustion!

Your comprehension is lacking. I didn't call you a coward or ignorant, I said that your behaviour made you look that way. This is something you could fix, hence my advice in my last sentence. I did address your points. I pointed out that you don't have the information necessary to make them.

Also, we have another rule:
  • Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member.
Would you like another warning point? I have more.

Edit: Thanks for editing to make things better. For the record, that proves that you are not an insincere coward, just someone who didn't think it through before hitting Reply. We're all guilty of that at some point.

Has anybody checked the temp their Sub is running at on max? Mine is running at approx 330f.
I guess it's time to wire up a dimmer switch to see if the controller is the problem.

My unit is slowly dying but comes back to life which has delayed me from fixing it. @Darb I think it is that time and for me it will be before the new year.

I was wondering if anyone else with a UFO or any sublimator has noticed rust on the metal? I thought this was stainless steel? Its not completely impossible but should have more to do with oxidizing and the sorts. It seems like rust after this short time im scratching my head...
Mostly V1.0 etc.
Scared to even use this high tech equipement anymore...

Edit trying to take a pic as we speak but I don't think I can manage this with my camera....

SELF - Censored

It seems that you have an easy remedy to your dilemma, i.e., do not buy it and purchase one of the other vapes that you mentioned.

I have mentioned the rust many times. I believe Enrico calls it calcification. Its nasty looking and a sign of dirty atomizer.

Its not actually calcium. Its the accumulation of sublimate/ABV/nastiness/resin that collects and hardens over time. Similar process to calcification. I called it oxidation cause that's what it looks like.

Hard black shards of obsidian looking stuff, red looking rust, and brown looking rust have all been observed in the Sublimator atomizer.

Well I finally could not take that buzzing noise anymore and the sporadic drops in wattage so I applied the fix @Detonator and @grokit mentioned. I used the exact same dimmer switch they did and noticed my max wattage is a lot higher (not useful for me but worth mentioning) and it also seems more stable (less fluctuation). Overall it feels amazing to no longer have any timer to worry about, it feels like having sex without a condom! Finally I am loving my sublimator again, this thing is a beast.

Yes it's been done a few times.. Mine has a twelve foot cord so I can pass it to friends but I rarely move it around like that.. The longer cord is nice just for moving it around my area here on my desk. Also I didn't bother with the timer.. My control just crapped out one day and this dimmer switch is way better. You don't even really need the watt meter but it is much nicer with it. You can find the exact wattage for the perfect vaporization you want..

Do you know if that Dimmer switch would work the same way with the XLR 2.0 apollo heater?

It seems like there's so many parts and pieced you need to operate this vape. Is the taste level as good as say the herbie or evo/enano? I'm sure you all love it but I cant see a reason in my eyes,of course I know it's all about the person their opinion etc etc, to buy this vape.

Ya , I thought I was witnessing something unpleasant , posted by some
' Nut-Job ' on the internet . But I'm glad it had a happy ending tho .

@Detonator
So basically , you just skip the bong , and attached it
to an 18mm downstem ? For an extra thick denser hit .
