Tic Disorders/Tourette's and marijuana.

I'm not sure if anyone else on here had Tourette's or a tic disorder, but as someone with Tourette's I feel inclined to ask, how have marijuana/concentrates effected your tic disorders? When smoking, I find it to be anywhere from very effective, to making it even worse, depending on the bud.
After using concentrates for a bit I noticed I'd be so medicated that tics simply weren't an issue, it seems less strain dependent.
I've yet to try vaping, but I am interested in the what differences other people with similar disorders have noticed when vaping as opposed to smoking flowers.
Any questions are certainly welcome as well :)

This is not the same, but I think you will find a similar answer with respect to Tourette's. Sativa strains or lower temp vaping sometimes kicks my ocd routines into a higher gear, whereas Indicas or high temp vaping makes me more relaxed about the routines. This is not a hard and fast rule, but the extremes can be classified as such.

I would definately avoid any strain that boasts euphoric effects as you well know to cause nervousnous to someone with tourette's syndrome makes their ticks go wild. I recommend looking into low thc strains and higher in cbd. This is more calming to the CNS.

I have mild tourettes and originally took up pot again because I thought it might help. Ive had mixed results...

I mainly vape before bed and have found that some strains help me relax and ease stress-induced ticking which was keeping me awake. However, I dont find it particularly effective during the day. Also, if I'm playing a video game while medicating before bed, it can get worse. This may be the current herb I have... I suspect it is a sativa. I still have lots of experimenting to do and I think its woethwhile to try and find the right dose/time/strain combo. That being said... Dont expect a miracle.

It sure would be easier if I could buy it legally from a shop rather than relying on friends of friends and not knowing the strain I'm vaping.

As for smoking vs vaping - I have not noticed any difference other than a bad taste and less efficiency. Have not tried consumables.
