The Yocan Thor Portable Enail

so the exgo w1 says the element reaches temps of 1300f within a second... doesnt that equal burnt oil?

Yes, but it doesnt taste burnt at all. I also noticed that I dont think it works that great at vaporizer larger dabs. When I put a big one on it takes a bit for it to get going and even so its nothing that big. It gives steady smooth hits, no lung busters. Good flavor and pretty good conservation. That being said, I think the oil cools the heating element off too quick and it doesnt stay at 1300, thats why I get a nice smooth flavorful hit.

Its def interesting and something I will continue to use, but does not replace a nail and torch. I still think I can build a better coil myself with an rda, however, taste was pretty good with the nero coil.

I really like the top cap that screws on and directs the airflow out, instead of directing in to your mouth. Helps cool it down and prevent any splatter.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Been playing with this w1 atty paired with their battery...so far it seems like a decent performer...while the hits are there, the taste isn't as great as the divine tribes donut or the w9 kiss cart. I get the nicrome/metallic taste...

I did stick the divine tribes donut atty on the yocan battery and have been rocking that a lot lately. Seems I get great taste and good hits at 2.5v...

I didn't get any of that metallic metal taste with the Nero coil. Weird. However I never tried a kiss cart or donut. Only reason I never tried a donut is because I heard they have been exploding. One even got lodged in to a wall. Still worth it to try?

Anyone know where I can buy just the Yocan V1 battery for use with the yocan exgo w1? It seems to want to use just the yocan battery. I only see the complete w1 kits that include more pieces than what I need.

Anyone know where you can pick up replacement cores for it? My buddy has one and he's on his last one. It's really easy to rupture the foil. I don't see them on the Yocan website.

That can't be good... I got mine from an Ebay seller. I'm still on the first one. It doesn't get a lot of use.
My torch/rig and W9Tech stuff are on the front burner right now.

So I found this on line the other day and it seemed interesting. It's a portable e nail with a new style coil called "Nero" Technology. I'll follow up with the sciency shit but I wanted to say this mutha hits like a tank. It runs off an 18350 mod and is completely wireless. It has a universal adapter to attach to water or if your out of your mind you can dry Dab!

With a price tag of a $129 I felt nessesary for the sake of science to buy one. Here are some tech posts from Yocan as well as some pictures for you guy's to enjoy while I continue strict experimentation!

It came well packaged. It had a lined interior case protecting the Glass Mouthpiece, 2 extra coils, and the device itself.

Here she is sitting on my clear.

It has a single button control that can take you to 1300 in less than a second.

Video's to come soon.

But for now enjoy this....

Everything I've seen on this toy has been sub par to say the least. Any of the countless videos I've seen the ppl get airy half ass small tokes that jus seem weak. And lastly from what I read it taste like any other coiled vape pen which right there turns me off, u wanna taste my errl not some metallic weird shiot.

This is not a coil. It has a thin foil heating element. It is definitely not for Cloud Chasers.

I have to disagree with what you say. I think a lot of it has to do with people using it on the WRONG type of battery. I dont know how this foil substance works compared to kanthal, but mine read .6 - .7ohm... That being said, using an ego battery will just ruin it. I use mine on a mech mod with a 30amp load battery, and it hits pretty good, but not great. I get really good flavorful hits, fairly big, its just not like taking a dab still. Im still trying to build/find the strongest I can. Low volts, high watts and I get some of the best hits with this device.

But thats just my experience from using it and what building coils.

Still rocking the W1 setup with the yocan battery. While the taste isn't as clean as the Divine Donut or the Ti Kiss cart, the clouds are actually pretty damn large. The taste is better when you load it a bit more.

Still on the first atty, and been using daily/heavily for the last couple weeks...giving the donut a break for a bit. Been liking rotating between the 3 though. w9, divine & yocan...nice to have backups...

:D I'm so glad to see this coming along. The Yocan guys were actually flabbergasted when they were shown how people were using them for dabbing oil. They whipped these improved designs up real fast.

Hi, I was just looking at the source orb thread and they supposedly made a ceramic heating element instead of the foil. If it works, I needs to get!

This is from my last message: please checkout the thread for the source orb and you will see someone use the Yukon Thor atty using ceramic instead of foil.

So wait, did I miss something? Is there a different heating element for the Thor? Other than the foil heaters?

Just got my Thor today and the trustfire 18350 battery they sent me is too tall to allow the top cover threads to even begin closing much less all the way screwed down. Wtf! Anyone else have battery issues?

I used Efest 18350. Purple 10.5A. From Amazon. I got a real enail so this one doesn't see much use.
