Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I searched a bit and not found it.

I previously owned a Pax, and purchased a hydrotube and made an adapter with some silicone tubing to use it with the Pax. At the time the Hydrotube came with a clear all plastic PoNG adapter.

Recently, my Pax broke so I purchased a Pinnacle Pro. The device has been great. However, this new device also came with a regular mouthpiece, and a PoNG/GoNG adapter. This new adapter is black, and has a glass core. However, this adapter came without any screen in it. I attempted to use it with the hydrotube, and all of the plant matter of course immediately shot up through the mouthpiece and into the bottom chamber of the hydrotube.

I contacted VaporNation and Vaporblunt support, and apparently that is just how the mouthpiece is supposed to be.

Surprisingly, I haven't been able to find any specific examples of what screens people have to use when equipping this mouthpiece with a screen. Can anybody tell me what they use? I have read that some people use a glass screen inside the chamber to supplement the mesh screen, but none of the round metal screens I have are really easy to put inside the mouthpiece. I bought a few extra bullets/screens, but those screens don't seem to be the right size for the mouthpiece either.

Thanks for any ideas
In a pinch you can use a light amount of cotton as a substitute screen. You can cut any screen down with scissors to fit. You can add a screen on top of your herb in the bullet or wedge one inside the glass GonG mouthpiece.

1/2" pipe screens fit perfectly between the bullet and the mouthpiece.

Just want to give a shoutout to the guys at Namaste Vapes for sorting out my PNP issues

My Pinnacle Pro started acting up with Red Lights and shit and taking way too long to heat up. And I love that thing man it's the shit but I need my product to be reliable and hold it's charge longer (too many times I had to wait til I got home cause it lost charge) - they gave me the option of swapping my Pinaccle Pro for a new one or a free upgrade to the DaVinci Ascent.

I'm quite new to the vape world so I decided to try out the Ascent which is a dope vape missing a few things that I love about the Pinaccle but the battery life and shit is better. (Not as sleek though but good flavour)

I told them I was goin on vacation and namaste shipped it to my destination in the US which was pretty dope.

Just overall great customer service from
Namaste unfortunately my PNP wasn't reliable enough guess it could've been the unit but with that being said I'm Really excited about the new PNP coming and will probably cop that depending on how this Ascent treats me!

Is it the general consensus that vapor blunt has been offering solid customer service these days? Im looking to pick up one as a gift for my girlfriend as Im thinking it should be easy to use and it shouldn't have the draw resistance of the solo that neither of us really liked.

For me, @TherealVaporblunt and @theyoyokid1 have always provided great service.

I have been supporting them fully ever since the release of the PN OG and the VB 2.0.

Things may have seemed sketchy with them with so many people voicing their opinions regarding the creeping pongs and the splitting necks, and TRVB being nowhere to be found.

But, they eventually released both a temporary and permanent countermeasures for both issues.

Their immediate responses on FC recently should definitely instill confidence back to the customer.

@Scott A, if you do scoop one up for your chicky, I'd highly recommend using it plugged in as much as possible.
The more you use it unplugged (relying on battery power alone) will decrease the battery life span.

I've had my PNP for almost 1 year (Black Friday discount purchase!) and I use it 25% of the time unplugged and the battery still lasts a good 4-5 sessions on heat level 2-3.

Hi all,

TRAGEDY!

I'm in the UK and bought my PP from VapeFiend about 6 months ago (after the first revision, but before the glass-enhanced mouthpieces were included as standard) and unfortunately we've just broken it. Looking at it from above, with the lights facing out front, the right hand half of the collar that the mouthpiece slides into has snapped off. This makes the draw on the mouthpiece almost non-existent sadly.

It happened I think because we dropped it once, which probably weakened it. But it pulled off when the mouthpiece got pretty much glued to the collar after vaping some *particularly* sticky herb, and when we removed the mouthpiece it took the piece of collar with it.

It's a very clean snap, and under normal circumstances I'd superglue it back on, but obviously that's not an option as the heat would likely cause glue vapours and I'm not risking inhaling those!

What are my options? I obviously wouldn't expect any warranty cover as I daresay it's accidental damage.

Cheers!

Great news, I will have a look.

EDIT: At the moment I don't see any in his listings. If I'm being blind could someone post a link to one? Cheers.

Hey folks,

I'd like to share some experiences I've made with the PnP. It's my first portable vape. I've owned a volcano classic for a while but it wasn't practical for me.

I've owned a PnP DLX for the last 4 months. I'm from germany and I bought it from Vaposhop. I'm very happy with the device and I didn't have any problems with it so far except for a broken WT. The WT dropped to the floor when a friend held the PnP at an angle where the gong came off.

To add some portability and still get a bit of cooling, I ordered a coal chamber adapter for bongs.

After breakage of the original WT I ordered two WTs on DHGate from elec2000. They were slightly different in size, compared to the original and compared to each other. Since they are not perfectly even at the top and/or bottom the stand can be a bit wobbly. Besides that, they work like a charm and I don't see why there should be any leakage, because they're functionally equal to the original WT.

After stumpling upon the cheap-bubbler-thread I couldn't resist to buy this bubbler (SD589) and I still can't belive how smooth the hits are that come from this baby when using it with the PnP! I ordered from btoc-jewelry, but the bubbler seems to not be listed there anymore.

I seem to be a bit more sensitive to the vapor than some of the other users around here. When using the PnP without WT, even the lowest temperature setting can make me cough. With the WT on, I can handle the vapor up to setting 2-3 and with the bubbler, setting 3 works great. I haven't used it on higher temps due to the upside down position in the bubbler.

I store the bullets in plastic 15ml falcon tubes and I use a 50ml falcon tube with a cut off end to fill the bullets with herbs. Just put a load of ground up herb in the tube, hold a bullet on the tip and rock it up and down. Works great and doesn't take long to fill.

I ordered some more bullets on Dhgate as well that haven't arrived yet, I hope the quality is the same as the original ones. To keep the MP clean I bend some metal screens in shape by pressing them into the bullet opening with a pen that has just the right diameter. I cut off the edges and left a little overlap to bend around the bullet neck to keep the screen in place.

After reading about the issues with the plastic MP, I send a message to Tomas from VapoShop via this forum and asked, if he would replace the plastic gong by the glass lined gong, just like TRVB apparently did lately. I got an answer the next day and after I gave him my order number, he offered me to send a glass lined gong free of charge. No need for sending in the original plastic pong. I received the gong only a week later! Great customer service by VapoShop!

All the informations you guys have gathered in this thread were very helpful to make the vaping even more enjoyable! Cheers for that!

I got in touch with the YoYoKid and my replacement collar is on the way!

So do you reckon if I can replace an SSD in my Macbook I can handle replacing the collar? Serious question...

Yes, I think you can.

How much was the collar by the way?

1 month and a few forum posts later, turns out my Pinnacle Pro's battery lasting only 24minutes (3 auto shutdown cycles) on the lowest temperature setting means it's broke.
Worrying that it's not working after such a little period of time, and only a 90 day battery warranty as well!
Swapping it for a Da Vinci ascent instead, not wroth the hassle for me.

I would guess that to be a battery that somehow aged prematurely. Seems like an easy fix, are you having trouble getting your unit warrantied?

Comparison between an original Pnp-bullets (left) and the fake DHGate-Bullets (right):

They seem to be made out of aluminium, not stainless steel like the original ones. Are they safe to use?
The fake bullets seem to be a _little_ bit bigger in diameter than the original ones, but they fit the PnP perfectly. There's even less rattling, when you shake the PnP with a aluminium bullet inside. And they're definitely smaller, as you can see on the pictures.

Thanks for the great comparison @fcdeady. But I don't see any real benefit in buying the knockoffs. For about 10 bucks less you can get 6 "real" Vaporblunt bullets and a bullet holder.

Since anyone buying these should already have 2 bullets that came with their Pinnacle, is there any reason someone needs 12 "knockoff" bullets as apposed to 8 "real" bullets? Just my :2c:.
Happy Vaping!

It just seems strange that it didn't come with a screen in it.

It ended up not mattering, regardless. My PnP stopped working a few days after I made that post; red flashing lights.

I contacted vaporblunt, and they sent me the forms to fill out and where to ship my unit in for repairs...although I have never been very comfortable shipping something like this, even if I attempt to clean it thoroughly. It is also not awesome that I have to pay to ship this thing back; I already paid to have it shipped to me when I bought it, then it was defective, now I will be paying for shipping a few more times. Awesome.

This thing just seem like a pretty light-weight low-quality easily breakable device. Less than a month of owning, never dropping, never overcharging, and it just stops working for no reason. I was never in love with the fact that it feels like its made of plastic and gets to very high temperatures.

I'm looking at getting the VapeXHale, and hopefully they will have a portable unit soon.
