Macaroni and cheese origins started in Italy. Thomas Jefferson brought the recipe back to Virginia. In Southeastern Connecticut it was known as macaroni pudding early on. In 1937 Kraft put it in a box, which quickly became the favorite of many American children.

The average number of days a West German goes without washing his underwear is 7 days. I wonder how they discovered this? I hope I didn't offend anyone. Any West German FCers?

Did you know that searching for "Did You Know........." turns up:
"The following words were not included in your search because they are too short, too long, or too common: Did, You"
I get a similar result when searching without the periods, either this search engine sucks or this thread doesn't really exist either (like the gif thread). Pita but whatever...

A 'virtual autopsy' of King Tut revealing Pharaoh had girlish hips, a club foot and buck teeth. Further evidence shows that his parents were brother and sister, which may have caused his physical impairments.

In the Beatles song "I Will", from the White Album, Paul McCartney doesn't play the bass guitar - he sings the bass part, doo wop style. (Something, not surprisingly, I discovered while under the influence of a certain performance enhancing drug).

I was going to link to a youtube version, but you need to listen carefully to a quality recording to hear it.

Did you know that earwigs are the only insect to protect their young until they are old enough to fend for themselves. They also have wings, but very few earwigs actually fly. They also cannot bite humans (pincers are too small and soft) , and they don't lay eggs in your ear
