Underdog Log Vapes

It's pretty normal for vaping. That's why a lot of use like to use water filtration as it helps with "vape throat".

:peace:

Try curling your tongue back so the vapor hits the underside of your tongue first. Also, keep a drink handy.

Ok then I was just making sure I wasn't burning a hole in the back of my throat :ko:, and it was normal. I am gonna order something off of dhgate. Do they have discreet shipping? Also anyone have opinions on the best water bong for my UD?

THanks

If you can spend 100 I suggest a VaporBrothers Hydrator

What a guy!
My suggestion for a water tool is the orbiter made by Magic Flight. It's $80 and has a lifetime warranty on both the glass and frame. It hits nice and smooth with a Dog and is probably one of the coolest hits I've taken.

So I've had my underdog for like 2 weeks now and it's awesome. I've been mainly using the nylon stem because it is easier to get larger hits with, but I just had a local glassblower make me a 14mm shorty female gong for my rig and I'm in love with it. Best small heavy hitting set up.

That's sweet. I have borderline glass acquisition syndrome and have been crushing on all these male jointed mini beakers not to mention all the new toros usually getting a male joint. I don't do oil or hash so now I can rationalize two purchases. That looks like a nice pair.

Cool Beans ! @KidFated.
They are my favorite. I like the fit and performance of the silicone bowl on the core so much better than glass but like the feel of the glass for a mouthpiece. Since I still only have my one UD with the older core I can't use the nylon stems ... yet.

But my old core Ash underdog running on the wall wart with the newly named "OLD STYLE Glass stems" is pretty near the perfect Vape setup as far as I'm concerned.

For those of you ordering your custom AromaDogs, I VERY HIGHLY recommend getting the Peppermint oil - it is extremely potent and refreshing - and will open up your nasal passages like there's no tomorrow ...it's the REAL DEAL!!! Whole house smells delicious and I'm breathing super free n easy!!! Aromatherapy at it's best! Aarf Aarf!!!

Are the power supplies with the voltage control still available? I am considering getting one. I had an issue where my dog didn't want to produce any more vapor for some reason. I was using it on an outdoor outlet which may have been the issue. Will the power supply assist this issue or not much since the outlet could be a weaker voltage?

Hi @123vapethattree - to clarify are you saying that your Dog used to generate more vapor than it does now?

If so it's unlikely to be a power outlet voltage issue and is more likely to be related to the strain of material you're using (if it's different), a power supply cord that's starting to break, a power supply that's starting to fail or a drop in ambient temp of where you keep the vape.

If you want you can contact Underdogette and she can help you troubleshoot things and find out where the problem is and how to fix it. :2c:

I got it during the birthday sales and it still gets warm. So seems as if everything is working. I was able to get 2 bowls to generate some wispy vapor and then started up a third and nothing would come out but you could feel the heat transfer on the lips. I had 3 strains, i may try and get another one soon though and see how it goes.

I kind of want a vvps too... Is it possible to buy one in a local store? Or are they only available online? I love on an island and try to avoid shipping things when possible haha.

Heya Dogs, happy Monday and all that stuff.. we're back in the saddle getting orders shipped out and messages responded to. Should be caught up by the end of the day.

Huh, something doesn't sound right. It's real hard to know if it's running at full power by feel alone so you could still have a power supply or heater running out of spec. How long are you letting it heat up for? If you do have access to any other strains I would try that too just to get more data. I do have some strains that make very little visible vapor while others make huge clouds with the same vape.

We're working on getting higher quality components for our in-house VVPS but still aren't there yet. I haven't ever seen them available in retail stores but it's possible you might find one in some kind of specalty store. Amazon, eBay or the @VoltageKeeper here on FC are all good sources.

Broke my old school gong stem yesterday that I had my stainless steel tip in so I switched it up last night and made this

XaY7DLZ.jpg

Its a stem for the hammer retrofitted to hold the stainless steel tips for the underdog. The tip fits a little better in to the hammer stem because it is slightly wider on the inside than a typical underdog stem. I have some extra silicone that Dave sent me, if anyone is interested I could send out a couple small pieces of it so others can experiment.

I ran my underdog in the car today, soooo much hotter. Definitely think my normal power source is underpowered. Gonna wait until underdog has new vvps's and just order one

Yeah the stock wall-wart puts out about 12.3v and while a car output will vary it's rarely that low and frequently as much as 1v+ higher than that. :2c:

This has been my VVPS for my UD since early 2012

http://www.amazon.com/Tekpower-HY-1502-Power-Supply-1-5/dp/B003EGYRP6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413857470&sr=8-1&keywords=tekpower hy1502

Used every day for almost 3 years and still going strong. The cables for it are also sold on the UD site.

Besides the paint job there is really nothing bad I can say about it. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good power supply to power their UD.
