Discontinued Inhalater INH05/5S/6

Inhalater shill account
Just saying. :-) Opening up a new thread to discuss e juice for the Inh is kind of lonely I bet. For sure most of the users look to use it with cannabis. Discussing the possibilities of the unit here is the best place to get all the in and outs of the possibilities

lets talk about inhalater usage here (regardless of the material) and keep questions specific to juice and shisha elsewhere.

So i just tried my unit. Right off the bat this thing is small, even smaller than my pinnacle pro. I found it a bit difficult to get the cap off, i found it difficult to get the capsule out. But hey i guess thats also a good thing. I am definitely taking the sticker off, its terrible, Inhalater should make some cool designed stickers. The lights are soooo damn bright. This thing heats up faster than i could even imagine. It got to 9 (max) in 27 seconds. It blew my mind.

I let this thing sit at 9 for like 3 sessions in a row to just clean it, it has a electrickky smell to it. The first session i had, i noticed how annoying the lights were because i would hit it and it would blink like crazy.

Can someone give me a good way they pack the capsule? Because i tried it by sucking up the bud and i wasn't getting crazy hits or anything. I used it on 6 and 7 and figured i would get big clouds like i do my solo on 5 and pinnacle pro on 2 and 3.

Will post more with more usage.

I didn't noticed any electrical taste in my 05 and with my previous XpQ2, Inhlater told us it's not good to run an empty bowl so a full abv capsule would be better if I remenber correctly....

About the leds, I was walking in forest last night, leds was so bright I was able to use it like a pocket flashlight! but I didn't expected my 05 was a flashlight too.....and I bet they use lot of electricity for nothing!

Beyond 7 you are more on the conservative taste way (my favourite on the go) but it start to produces very nice clouds at this setting(5.5-6.5) after some first tasty wispy draws, if you want big clouds from the first hit you need to crank up the t° at level 7 or more, even at 6 it can produce large clouds from the 1st hit if you wait 30s after the light stop to blink (and the same between hits).

To get cloudy result you need to pack tightly your flower, even with a small amount (I regulary use 1/3-1/2 caps) and a bit of cotton (soaked in a bit of oil is better!) on the top to keep your flowers packed and your unit clean.

About the difficulty to get out capsule and cap: it will be better after some days of use!

Enjoy the beast!
edit: charging time is always really long (20-24 hours), I tried different wall chargers and different cables but nothing help, maybe on the Core but since it's not good to let it powered on too much IDK....

@SiDankies -- regarding clouds...for me I am not chasing them with this unit unless I am using the normal capsule with a bubbler. The normal capsule can be rather harsh and the aero capsule solution dilutes the vapor by design. So if you're looking to walk around blowing out big clouds, I don't recommend this one. But if you want a very portable unit that heats up quickly and can be inconspicuous with its thinner exhales, this one kills it. We need to make sure our expectations are in line with the intended design.

Still looks like there are discounted units available with the FC exclusive promo code.

I think after a week it should drop to $100 off.:shrug:

I hope nothing is wrong with my unit because this thing absolutely stinks every time it heats up. It smells like just very electronicy. The first time I turned it on I did hear something sizzling now that I think about it...

Also @stickstones I was under the impression that this thing could give off huge clouds from what everyone has been saying.

The components are cleaned and rinsed many times along the assembly procedure.

Final step before packing is a cleaning of the heating chamber with ISO alcohol. Sometimes this will seep into the preheating cavities and sizzle until complete evaporation and does have a faint odor.

This should completely disappear after first use.

If you feel that there is something abnormal we are here to assist.

I have let this thing run on 9 for about 5 times now and I'm still getting a smell.. Just before I had the aero capsule in it, it was empty and I put it on 9 I started seeing vapor come out of the capsule as if it was full of herbs.

Thats normal. There is always a smell to new things. This is a device.

Don't be overly concerned. How was the experience? How was the taste?

Yes.... it was probably not such a good idea to run it on its highest setting with nothing in it.....Inhalater has always asked that should we feel the need to have a cook off {not required or recommended} that we please use some old ABV when doing so..... you may have distorted things with all of that heat staying resident inside like that...... normal use will draw that intense heat out with each inhalation.....

WRT the packing.... I'm a huge fan of the vacuum method... I feel packing it to tight restricts the air flow.

WRT clouds.....it shouldn't take long to dial in her nitch.... IMO this design can produce very full thick satisfying clouds..... here are a few things to consider..... this hybrid design greatly benefits from the convection side therefore allowing it a bit more time to warm the air before beginning your inhalation also the slower you can draw in the better......
And that crazy flashing light is actually a very nice designed feedback to the user....letting us know that the heating element has been engaged and that it is very near the correct temp {very fast flashing} but if you are pulling too fast you will notice that the light begins to flash slower... indicating that the chamber is further and further from the selected temperature {meaning we might as well stop drawing or at least slow it down some.......
This feedback will aid you in dialing in on how best to use this design......

So try playing with those thoughts...... slow down your draw....give her some warm up time....
I typically start on 5 or 5.5 {keep in mind the 1st few pulls will be light} clouds are next....slow gentle inhalations.... and walk your temp up as the clouds thin out ..... don't go too fast and it also helps to let her warm a bit in between draws too....if clouds are what you seek that is....

@SiDankies -- you can get clouds, but the aero capsule by design adds fresh air to the vapor before it gets to your mouth, so it will be thinner vapor than with the normal capsule. I prefer the aero capsule when going above 5, so most of my vaping will be thinned out compared to someone sticking with the normal capsule.

This device has enough variables at its disposal that most of us will have differing favorite routines. Some vapes are best enjoyed when we throw away our preconceived notions and see how it was intended to be used, and I think this is one of them. If I am looking for Solo-ish clouds with the aero capsules I will probably be disappointed. But if I just use the aero capsule until it is spent, the effect is always there and I am satisfied. VapeDr says the glass capsules change the experience as well, so I am looking forward to giving those a shot.

Great i was feeling good. I love how fast this thing gets to temp. I love the size and design. I still need to play around with it more but so far I'm liking it. Will keep updating on my experience
