Need your help

I'm not sure if I posted this in the right place. If not please excuse my FC ignorance - Hello all you good folks I need your help. I'm a retired vet and I suffer from daily pain in my back and legs from an injury that I sustained many many years ago. Until now I've been medicating my pain with potent canabutter which will do the trick but only the first few times I eat it - after 2 or 3 days (sativa or indica) it just does not give me the same pain relief. A friend of mine gave me a strong tincture that really helped me for about a month till I ran out. For some reason I could take two droppers and be pain free for 6-8 hours every time I took it. It never failed me and it was the best month I've had in a long time. I was told the tincture was high in THC and made with bud that had a dry decarb before getting tinctured. Can someone direct me on how to make a strong tincture like this? I don't know much about this decarb stuff and the net is full of advice but which one will give me the most potency? I've got my medical card but when i go to the dispensary they never seem to have anything strong enough for me and my pain level. I end up spending $200 and I'm still in major pain. What's an old guy like me to do?

Decarb put weed before Magicbutter2 in an oven at 100 degrees for 20 min.

If this is what you are going to do you should think about a closet grow. (If you are in legal state)

Thank you sir for your prompt response. I'm in a legal state but my war injuries prevent me from doing much bending and lifting. 100 degrees for 20. If I used a higher temperature would it be more potent or less? Should I grind before decarb? Thank you

You are slow converting several compounds with low heat. More or less activating it (psychoactive?)
It doesn't take much to grow. Allot of setup but basically it is watching paint dry. Find a partner to do work while you provide space and watchfulness. I see you choking on $200 so IMHO you need to plug the biggest hole and that is procurement. It is difficult to spend 4 or 5 hundred setting up but it is a lifetime of results. It takes maturity and planning (delayed gratification)
but after a year you will be measuring in Mason Jars instead of grams.

I'm not sure what you mean - but what I'm looking for is a decarb method for the strongest and most amount of THC possible. Meaning the Most amount of THCA being converted over to THC. From what I read 100 F is not nearly high enough to convert all the THCA to THC so I don't think it would be strong enough for the likes of me

Reading on in that thread you will notice that the original recipe is supper potent and most thin it down much more including myself. Post colon surgery these caps got me through some tough recovery with very little opiates.

@ButterMan why aren't you asking these questions in the Magicbutter maker thread ? People who make butter with the magic butter machine will then see and read and maybe answer your questions there since they read that thread, not everyone reads through the new posts section but they do get alerts to posts on the threads they post on and read regularly.

Hey thanks man I appreciate the help. I will try that. Should I post in the MB forum even tho I'm asking about making tincture? I've never made tincture with MB maybe you are on to something. I was just looking for a good strong tincture recipe with a pre decarb (what temp and for how long) I'm not really looking to make tincture with the MB but if you think it can increase potency I'm all ears.

Yeah i think it would be fine because people there do discuss making tincture in the MB and how it compares to other methods they've used. Just from reading that thread (i don't make butter or tincture myself) I took a friend through making their first batch of butter with the MB. Lot's of good info throughout that thread, It's well worth the read no matter how you're making tincture or butter.

@ButterMan what kind of starting material do you have access to. I make a coconut oil, extraction from trim and leaves, and soy lecithin soultion. Then off Amazon I get empty gelatin capsules. Use a syringe to fill the caps and they are easy to take anywhere. I use 0 size caps and only fill them half way up. These thing could be a strong as I want them.
