If you had nothing but the box and batts. you would be ok. One of the things I enjoy doing with either of my vapes is, take a dry small bud, cruple a bit in fingers over trench and drop it in kind of even, rough but even, battery it up like normal, very nice clean taste, wait a second, go to new batt. dump load in your palm it will crush a bit more and hit it, same thing several time and it is very nice, no grinder. I have one and use it every day but if you have none, really not to worry.

I picked up a coffee grinder at walmart for $20, but i still use my $10 2 piece.

The adapter was a little pricey but a lot of work went in to it and most of us already had the box or grinder, so few people would order the entire bundle listed above. The main reason i ordered the ac adapter was that it was adjustable (which i cant fuckin wait to play with!!) Just grabbed a zip of some grandaddy purp for the adapter's arrival (ya thats my excuse)

And for the record the LB works perfectly fine out of the box without all the extras

Just made a trip to the dentist for a cleaning. They gave me some of these things to supplement flossing. But the second I saw them, I knew they are actually for cleaning our MFLBs or Iolites or any other small parts! Perfect fit in many areas of the LB...

My LB should be here tomorrow........ yea! Just stripped the labels and glue off some extra 2400 mha Kodak's and fired up an old charger I haven't used in ages.... even works in the car too. Pretty fast charger but I'll have to see how these work in comparison to the factory stuff... just to let you all know.. the Kodak's suck at getting all the label and glue off. WD 40 and a hard scraping with my Gerber and they still have a few spots of adhesive. Oh well, tomorrows Christmas.....know what I mean! ;)

Ive never heard of anyone using kodaks....better check them out first but good luck with the lb!

Don't know where I would stick those in my LB for cleaning,
too short for our stems, but it might work around the trench
if you use care!

will the LB set off metal detectors? i have court later today and would love to bake in the mans house. haha j/k. im not that dumb(brave?). although i do really have court(possession + paraphernalia). im curious because some concerts around here have been beefing up security and doing pat downs AND metal detectors. IIRC someone said they got one through a metal detector, but where did you hide it? cause they do pat downs and pull shit out of your pockets. also what about batterys, did they set off the detector? were they curious why you had naked batterys if they pulled them out?

I remember reading a story here of a fellow FC member. They got very lucky, they forgot a loaded LB in their pockets. The LB itself did not set up the metal detector, but they did find it on him.

I wouldn't try if I were you, a more sensitive metal detector might detect it, or if not, the patdown will. I say don't try it.

I'm writing this to show others that these batteries are pretty good. I bought an enercell 15 min charger from radio shack. It came with for enercell aa's. I haven't had any problems with the batteries being weak if I discharge them before I recharge them. The charger is pretty cool because it tells you when each individual battery is done.charging. Also no over heating problems whatsoever.

This is not the best option but it works for me because I rarely.have batteries charged beforehand.

Just my 2 cents.

From what I know its just not putting the batteries you get with the lb in a radioshack charger because it ruins them or something. But what I'm using isn't a problem

Yeah, might be better as a cat toy. But I was able to use it around the trench o-ring to clean out some stuff that was getting a bit old. I try to not obsess too much about cleaning the thing.

I am starting to find that the objects and rituals related to vaping are easy to get pulled into. Trying to resist that and just enjoy the state of mind. Some things haven't changed from 30 years ago !

i went to a concert last month and i took my LB with me. had it in my pants tied to the button on my jeans. they used the wand [which is a bit more precise than a walk through detector] and it did not go off. yes the batteries would set it off but i just held them in my hand in the case that it came with. they asked what it was for and i said it was for my phone. dude was like ok and i proceeded inside. while people were getting pinched and kicked out for combusting, i was cold lampin, sitting down, enjoying the show, baked out. stealth mode.

I had this happen to me back in late September and posted about it then......
So last week I had to go to traffic court here in NY......well bone headed, or more like baked, me forgot my LB was in my pocket, where it always is! So I walk into court and there is a metal detector, which I really didnt expect to see in traffic court. So the court officer tells me to empty my pockets and I do, leaving the launchbox in place figuring there is not enough metal in it to set off the detector. I make it thru the stand up detector with no issues.......then the officer uses a wand over my body and sure enough it goes off over my pocket. FULLY loaded LB in there. I stay calm and he asks me whats in my pocket......so I tell him its a vaporizer to help me quit smoking cigs, he asks me to take it out, I remain calm and pull it out bottom side with the saying facing up.....officer takes it, reads the saying on the back and says "Thats pretty cool, good luck quitting" and hands it back to me and waves me into court. My wife could not believe it. I was VERY lucky that day, but it really blew my mind that I could show it to an officer and he had zero idea what it really was.

just got off the phone with the batteries plus guy....he said their one location like a half hour away sells 2700's. The closer store only carries 2500's and they sounded like an off brand (i cant remember what they were)

probably gonna run out and grab a fresh set for the steelers/jets game this weekend (going to attempt a launch in the bathroom of Heinz field haha or maybe just in my upper level seat)

The Vaporpedia entry simply says Radio Shack chargers are not recommended. I thought I'd included the reason why, but I didn't. For the record:

Any ETA on when we can order custom woods or exotic woods? I may have to sell my trusty LB to a friend for half price or something if I can get a crazy exotic wood.

Some Bubinga wood or something haha.

I would bet that different woods would have slight effects on the overall performance whether it enhances the experience or not.. :) would be cool

You are very lucky! but most cops don't know what it looks like. I showed it to my sis (her hubbys a big city police sergeant SWAT cop) and she said a cop would never know what it is. I sat behind him while we watched a movie at their house and he never smelled a thing, and all the other cops call him the "drug dog," because he finds stuff the K9's don't.

lol.....I waited til I left to vape. As for the batteries I placed them in the bin along with other metal I had on me like keys, phone, belt, watch, change etc. before I stepped past the walk thru metal detector They didnt even ask me about them.
