So what would be a good one; I just wrote someone who represents doughboy

My head is spinning from all of this. I have seen many with curves.

Don't worry , you have several weeks to shop .
It doesn't have to be an impulse purchase tonight .
Wait til you hear from a few others too .
For $ 150 , you should be able to get a decent bubbler .

btw , I meant a curved ' neck ' for the mouthpiece .
like the one posted above by ONJ

As you mentioned, I think a side mouthpiece makes any piece much more user friendly, as opposed to a straight tube / bong-like piece.

You mentioned getting a Solo. No need, they are nice but your unit is superior.

No need to go "big" with a water piece. For combusting, yes. For vaping, no need and it just gets cumbersome to use.

But she already has a hydrotube and is asking for a piece with more diffusion for her throat.......

I won't buy tonight; I gotta see the dr first
Think doughboy will have pity on my poor soul. I don't want anything fancy

Min bobber good to see you join the discussion
A collective decision on a single piece will be made soon

I am not forgetting about temp, small bowls water temp and keeping something on hand to drink

I'm gonna reach out to everyone when I do this

ONJ you are good person; I sought you out first because of your post last week. Ok we will stay on this. My spirits are much better. Can someone arrange a lottery win then I will buy them all

I never did a site like this; it's so badass

I don't know a lot about water tools I just have the Pinnacle Pro Water Tool and the DO20 bubbler. I like something not too big. Some of the rigs out there are huge. Does big mean better? Does size count?;)

L Isl Mom, you are looking at smoothest vapor for your throat. One element just as important as best water piece, is the best "technique" for your individual needs. For technique in a water piece, the best water temp varies by what is needed by person, is it vapor or smoke, etc.

I just dug deep and did my water temp comparison, back to back :) I sometimes do room temp water in my Mobius and sometimes hot water.
As I thought. back to back, the hot water bubbler makes for much much much "easier on the throat and lungs" vapor.

Why is that? Hot water moisturizes the air/vapor much more than room temp water does. Air/vapor that is too hot and/or too dry irritates the throat. FOR VAPOR , heat is not the main issue, it is the DRY DRY vapor. Hot water moisturizes it much better. For COMBUSTED herbs, HEAT is the main issue to so big arse bongs with huge volume , cool water, and even ice are great, but not needed for vaping.

I just did back to back. With room temp water, it's like a neutral/zero rating that vapor does not irritate the throat at all. With hot water, I'd rate a plus + 2. that it actually feels good/ like it is helping any dry throat issues. Just take a hit thru the water piece with microwaved hot water (with no herb). It's like a moisture bath for your throat / feels good. Not boiling but very hot.

Flame suit on, but try it before you input......

LI Mom, get a nice inexpensive bubbler and fine tune your technique (VapeXHale temp, water temp, bowl packed correctly, etc) and your BFF's will be waked and baked to perfection...... gair ant teed.......

I'm mainly using it for vaping.

I don't dab too often, I find my oil goes further using my minicron (would that count as dabbing or vaping in this discussion?), and I can rig up a Frankenstein's monster of adapters to connect it just about any of my pieces.
I also hit my minicron dry most of the time, but I always use water for herb vapor.

I've gotta rate it pretty high on my dhgate list, it functions great (no vortex though, but the double barrel has no chance of a vortex either), and its enjoyable to use. As @MGG said, it functions better than the barrel to barrel (pretty sure I'm gonna sell my barrel to barrel - I can't see myself ever using it now I've got the barrel to funnel).

It's a little awkward to pair with a vape - but I find that with any small bong.
keep saying no vortex but mine does vortex like crazy.i think we have same barrel to funnel from steven right?

I just placed an order on the barrel to funnel rig.
Just a heads up for people who are thinking about getting it, they just put it on sale for 20% off. Now would probably be a good time to buy. $39.37 total after shipping to the US.

The pic on his listing is a bit confusing, as it has 3 sizes:

I have a more reasonable request. I'd actually really like to get a nice quartz banger for cheap.. Everything I seem to find appears to be over $50 shipped to Australia. Anyone know any DHGATE Quartz hookups :p?

Hop on over to the cheap nails thread. Blank and I have discussed the bangers over there a few times. He recently posted one up for $30 or $35 and I was too cheap/stubborn since I missed out on the ones for $18 shipped. :X
