Im going to make that happen. Now that this big Klein order is out of the way, I hope to get him back to making stuff more or less exclusively for here. He has more than enough interest here to keep him busy for several months.

Yep.. and things are going well enough that he has talked to his investor about purchasing more equipment, especially a better lathe and theyre going to move forward with it as soon as he finds an appropriate one. His current lathe is a little limited in what can be chucked up in it.

He actually has mentioned doing some Hydrafoots and doing a egg style tube as well. @Cannabis Connoisseur asked me about a hydrafoot a couple of weeks ago and Im going to see if I can get him to make one this week.
Im really disappointed that nothing ever came of a deal with VXH.. Trey talked to SM55 on the phone and he seemed really anxious to try out one of the Klein tubes. Ive had one sitting in my dresser for him for over a month. He isnt returning emails or phone calls and Ive also messaged Troi trying to get an address of where to send it to and didnt get a reply from him either.
Its a real shame.. the Evo and that Klein tube go together like peanut butter and jelly. Im amazed so few of them have sold.. only about 10 of them exist.

Pardon me sir, I also was the one who requested the Egg Klein tube lol. I'll eventually try to get him to incorporate all his designs into tubes for my Evo. The Vapexhale team is missing out. When i get my Hydrafoot from Trey and start posting vids of these Dougboy combos all over this site, we'll see how many Cloud/ Evo owners come hunting the Doughboy down.

Hopefully SM55/VXL gets back with you/Trey, they really would make a great addition to the hydratube lineup.
Regarding the question as to why more EVO owners haven't jumped on board yet, I can't answer for everyone, but I can give my opinion on it. Personally, I don't have a strong desire to own a hydratube. I found them to be far too expensive when I bought my EVO, so I just inverted into bubblers.
The way I use my EVO is not very conducive to hydratubes either. I mainly use my EVO sitting at my couch. The height is just right to have a bubbler sitting on a TV tray to hit. If I used a hydratube, I'd have to hold the EVO in my lap to hit it. Not a big deal, but not my personal preference either.
Another reason is resale value. A hydratube is a very niche market, compared with the glass world at large. I can buy a piece of glass with an 18mm female joint, and have no issues using it with my EVO. And if the time came to sell it, I'd have a much easier time unloading it.
One possible drawback of not using a hydratube is having to buy an adapter in order to use the VXNail. However, for ~$30-$40 you can get a nice adapter and have no issues using the VXNail.
All that being said, if I did ever decide I wanted a hydratube, there's no question I'd be getting one from Doughboy! However, the more likely scenario, is that I'd have him make me a piece with an 18mm female joint

Keep up the good work getting quality glass to the people for a more then fair price. I love checking in on this thread and seeing the new stuff he's coming up with.

I agree with Roth and the PoopMachine. I bought a hydratube with my Evo and i had a tube from GBD. I never purchased another tube from Vapexhale because they were to expensive with a narrow market. I didn't buy any glass till i bought a Cloud, but bought countless pieces since. The "ONLY TUBE" I've bought since is the Trey Recyclotube. PoopMachine is correct the Recyclotube is serious trust me it enhances the EVO. I believe it restricts the EVO just right for perfect extraction if that makes sense

Those are kleins (regular style and donut/egg style). I believe the regular style ones are a little cheaper, starting around $200 and go up from there depending on size, extra requests, etc. The donut/egg style one (the one that looks like the center chamber is "floating") and the return tube goes through a hole (egg) start around $250 and go up from there.
I may be off by a little but this should give you an idea.
Send PoopMachine a private message and he can get an exact quote for you depending on what size, etc.

For 200 bucks the "small" donut klein is in no way small. It is about 11 inches high! It holds less water than the large standard Klein due to it's design. So I guess you could argue that it is small in the amount of water it holds, but that's about all.The larger size is $280. The smaller donut Klein is $200

Whatever size it is, it hits so nicely it's just a pleasure to use and looks really good too...such an awesome piece...in fact they both are! The standard Klein is just as good on function and value for money...

I am definitely going to buy one when my turn hits the queue. Debating on a hydrotube recycler or double recycler.
What I enjoy about picking up the hydrafoot 2.0 is that I can pair my tubes with it and not have to use the evo.
Jesus! $200 for an 11" donut klein?? Hmmm, now I'm tempted to order a half-worked "Mini"(?) Donut Klein!
Happy to hear business is picking up for Trey! Hopefully I'll be able to swing by his shop one day soon and shake his hand (while water testing a whole bunch of these crazy exotic rings!). Hopefully he doesn't let his ego get the best of him and turn into another Corey Glass story........
