Discontinued The Hammer Vaporizer

Will the silicone on the hammer stem fit in a 14 mm male?/ Has anyone done it? Or would I have to get an adapter for a better fit?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried looking.

Has anyone put a screen under the silicone locking thing on the heat element?

Kinda like the way the screen goes on the Supreme vape? (on the right in the pic)

It would keep stuff from falling out of the stem and into the heat element

Slightly OT, but sharing anyway because I think 3D printing is cool as shit.

Check out what I did today - 3D scanned a Hammer Vaporizer so I can make a perfect fitting 3D printed stand!

(Partially cropped because I mainly focused on the bottom of the vape for the stand, didn't need the top portion of the vape for this accessory)

My current scanner is a Cubify Sense3D - it's basically a glorified Xbox Kinnect with a laser auto-focus and fancy software to target-lock and cleanup post-scanning. It's not a perfect system, but it's a start! It'll only get better from here!

Hey guys! Got my Hammer in Amsterdam a few months ago and I love it, it has become my main vape.

However, I hate to be That Guy but I've tried searching through the thread and can't find an answer - my Hammer no longer ignites! The gas is flowing through but no blue flame burst or blue circle to indicate it's working. What can I do?

Thanks everyone

Happened to me. Try pulling the red igniter "cap" back but not hard and pull up at the same time. It will allow you to pull off the igniter "cap." Once it's off you will see the little black igniter, press on it. If it clicks you should be ok. If it doesn't, then the plastic ignitor is probably broken. Mine was broken. David of head tools said the igniter will be lifetime warrenty and they will be selling replacement igniters. You can verify that with David from head tools. He is very easy to get in contact with and was a great help when my hammer broke.

So who would you guys recommend the Hammer to?

I want a vape that I can whip out and use quickly with little to no heat up time (fits the bill). I'll probably be using this when I'm out and about.

How does it work with that? Also, how easy is it to combust? :(

It has its place .its an awesome convection vape .flavour is top notch.its quite difficult to combust once you get it down.it reminds me of a portable log vape.

ed makes stems for it too .the supplied glass stem looks like a crack pipe in some eyes.i never was worried about that aspect though.

It takes about 30 seconds to heat up.its noisy so anybody near You will hear it and wonder what it is.like a high pitched jet hiss. It's not a vape I would use in public .it just looks wrong.

I took mine on a long haul trip to Colorado .it can be easily cleaned for air transport and travel generally.i kept it in my bag and took hits in parlks and stuff.

I think the solo looks more natural as a device to carry around and can be used in a coffee cup if desired. You can cap the stem and save you're herbs for later which is good.i just wasn't t a fan of having all those electrics under the the heater.both my solos had an electronics taste so I got shot of them.

I use my vapman out and about.it smells a little bit being a conduction vape but I usually just slip away for a moment to medicate.its easy to use outdoors amongst folks.

To be honest these are just comments and pointers for You.."Out & about" means so many things.there are so many parameters with portables out and about and they differ for different people and situations..heat up time, smell, battery life, stealth vaping requirements etc.I would say ithe hammer would be okay on a car journey, but a log vape like the Hi or underdog will work just as well with a car adapter.

paytonpenn did some excellent dabbing vids with his hammer.its extremely versatile and definitely hits the spot once it's heated up in 30 seconds or so.massive clouds are easy to produce.its simple to master.one of the better portable vapes out there.

I think if you have time wait a bit.herb ecigs that work are just starting to hit the market coming from china in abundance.I suggest You have a look in the thread candidates thread in the portable section for more info..in six months time I think there will be more to choose from.Once the Chinese work out we want quality and safe materials in the airpath things should hot up.there are few like the flower mate and weeke that are being tested, but I won't pull the trigger on anything until the right unit arrives.

I had the mflb but gave up on using it a lot batteries and needing quite a session to get medicated but it's an excellent vape out and about if you have a low tolerance.heavy tolerance..maybe a pax right now..good vapor..small pocketable but not the greatest flavour after a few hits.maybe elevape might be worth a look too.expensive though.

Volute of Vapor
My favourite way to use the Hammer, I load a flower bowl, heat the unit for 30s and vape my bowl, after I load again the bowl with flower but heat the unit again to red (20-30s) to make a dab (flowers act as a filter to catch the excess of oil) and I finish vaping the flower/oily bowl, guys! it's delicious and kick your ass!

Thanks for the awesome response man, it got me thinking!

Also, I've heard about a butane taste/smell. I dont care if I taste it unless it's causing my body harm. Are you actually inhaling butane? Is it unhealthy?

I only smell butane occasionally when i use the hammer but never have i tasted it, and only smell it if I'm using it inside small rooms with no fan or air-conditioner running.

I don't find the hammer a great vape to use when away from home or when not sitting in someone elses yard or home, or a Boat or car. Not for the Park IMO.
The top gets pretty hot after a couple of hits making it difficult to stash away quickly in pants pockets or to drop in a jacket made of modern materials(nylon and such) that'll kinda melt with the heat.

I place the Hammer in the portable but not The out-and-about "Mobile" pocketable category. YMMV.

Oh okay, bummer. Do you guys know any vapes that would better suit me (not the imag please haha)? Looking to carry in pocket and use out on hikes and such. Less smell the better

If I'm going somewhere where I'm gonna be walking about I still fall back on my original Davinci, wispr or mflb. If I'm gonna be sitting say like at the beach or a park now my vapman would be my first choice. But thats just me.

The person that turned me onto the hammer was using his while working laying phone cable so ...

For pure stealth I go for the mflb. You could also consider the indica or inh05. I personally don't reall get on with complicated electronics when my vapman or MLB does the job so simply.

Thank you @Ratchett for the hammer stand, its nice to have it sitting up right finally I use to keep it laying in the hammer box all the time. I just keep one glass stem and @Ed's TnT wood stem which fits perfect in the gong slot. I have found myself using the hammer a lot more and also even using it dry thru the d020 which gives huge flavorful hits. But the best discovery with the hammer is I ran into some quality hash and the hammer was shining in an all new light once again. I can put a tiny piece in the stem and get lots of huge hits which is pretty awesome.

butane is the new black
So I got my Hammer today from VapoShop. I have moved over from the Cano and MFLB to a Lotus WPA, my daily driver. Have a lot of butane so I thought why not grab this too, better on the road than Lotus. Holy crap this is some vape! Bit fidgety to begin with, but when you are on your way this thing hits like Tyson! And the clouds, man!

With all these fancy gadgets with touchscreens popping up butane can not be overlooked. No other vape comes close in efficiency and vapor quality!

OK log vapes are efficient, I have been told. I am on a list ;)

Damn something is wrong with my hammer. It just wont ignite now at all even though its definitely getting enough butane. You guys have any ideas how to fix it?
