Aahhahaha. I get back on FC the morning after a big sesh and think 'how high was I when I wrote that...'

Well, in your defense, a food-grade Bu-Tack would be exactly the perfect thing. Oh, that gives me an idea - What's the stuff that kids eat? Oh, PlayDoh! Seriously, I already have a piece of nicotine gum in my mouth 99% of the time, if I could just get one of these damn bags on...

This thread is great, been lurking here a while, it inspired me to buy an Extreme Q and now I want to upgrade it.

I'm looking at getting this kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/DaBuddha-Gl...973?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ed23d4b65 for a wand, and now it seems I should replace the cyclone bowl with a 18mm f / f adapter.

The only problem is all the ones I saw linked in the thread no longer work.... could anybody point me in the right direction to one, preferably on ebay, I could use with that kit in order to be good to go? Thanks a lot guys.

I have recommended several times in this thread to use the camel back Ergal valve as a nice stopper for your bags to stop vapor from escaping - http://shop.camelbak.com/ergohydrolock/d/1089_c_321 , i also recommend using zip ties instead of the rubber bands supplied to attach your bags to the mouth piece , it is the easiest method and i have been doing it for some time now.
Thanks I was able to pick one up locally and cant wait to try it. The little booger is way smaller than what I imagined and the guy at the counter explained to me how great of a product it is to use with your water bag when jogging through the wilderness.. I was like yeah mhm ok yep, even showed me how to hook it up to a water back pack lol.

Question1 Can someone please help me find a black/red or any color silicone hose that will fit with my stock elbow that can be purchased with PayPal preferably on EBAY?

Reason: I am frustrated trying to find a black silicone hose that I can buy with PayPal to go with my new Airizer Extreme Q Vaporizer and DDAVE F/F Adapter with STOCK elbow that is to deliver this week! My main reason behind getting a colored hose is to hide some discoloration/resin and to hopefully boost some performance. I have read that I should notice some performance difference just by switching from PVC to Silicone hosing. This hose will only be temporary until I can get the SSV Ground Glass and then I will purchase the new hose to go with that.

Setup to deliver this week: Airizer Extreme Q
DDAVE F/F 18mm
Stock Tubing
Stock Elblow
Coozie

Future Plan: Airizer Extreme Q
DDAVE F/F 18mm
Red/Black SSV Silicone Tubing
SSV Ground Glass
Coozie
Sticker Decal

How has your hunt for sillicone tube gone? i was going to get some red and blue hose from thie ebay seller:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/161267752730?var=460349026066
seems cheap and in a few different sizes, am i right in thinking 6mm id will work?

This was perfect! Everything arrived today, but I have one issue.

If I load herb into the bottom of the wand, there's no screen to stop it from falling out directly down into the adapter you linked, onto the heating element, and completely wasted. How do people solve this? Do I need to buy some small spheres, or use the ddave adapter everybody talks about? I'm not sure where to buy that even, every site I saw was down.

Or is the ddave adapter the one I already bought? I think so... so I just need a screen to help keep the herb inside the wand. Are there any particular ones people use? My old EQ screens got tossed when the glass broke

Hey Folks!

My Extreme-Q isn't working correctly right now. It takes about 5-6 minutes to fill a bag on speed 3. It used to take about a minute. I've taken the unit apart already, and everything looks to be in top shape, although when I examined the fan, it seemed to move a little slow and flicked.

The elbow and bag are in good condition. No leaks or anything like that. If it is the fan, how can I replace it? Keep in mind I bought the vape over 2 years ago so I doubt any warranties would apply.

Cheers!

Have you cleaned your elbow and screens recently?

With some luck you can try oiling the bearings in the fan to see if it revives it.

If the fan has failed, AFIAK only option is Arizer. The fan is labeled a Delta BFB0412HA, and here is it's spec sheet.
Looks like either the stock image on the PDF is wrong or Arizer orders custom shaped fans.

Good luck, keep us updated.

I haven't. They full of resin little particles of toasty plant matter. I will clean them tonight with ISO and get some reclaim. Will report back.

I'll take it apart again and give it some oil after I've cleaned all the pieces. Hopefully one of these two solutions fixes the problem. If not I'll purchase another fan and go from there.

For your own sake, try cleaning out the elbow screen before you take apart the EQ. I can't believe you haven't done this. The elbow screen clogs really easily and I could never use one for more than a couple of loads. I used to have eight or ten and I swapped in a clean one every second load. If I didn't, I couldn't pull through the whip. It wouldn't take much clogging to double or triple the fill time. I'd bet lots of buds that's your problem.

100% real fruit juice!
Hey guys, been reading this thread for awhile and I thought I could share some hopefully helpful links.

I bought my adapter from Ebay. This exact one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/18mm-Female...475?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a3e1dbfd3

Personally I think it looks even better than it does in the picture. The bowl sits much closer to the heating element than the original cyclone bowl and it fits very well. This was my first mod and I noticed a huge increase in vapor production, very happy with it :)

Next I had to buy a 1.25" screen to go with the adapter. I tried a 1" screen but it was slightly too small and I couldn't find a larger one anywhere until just recently someone put these up on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-25-tobacc...245?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item258a16e92d

I just ordered them today so I'm awaiting their arrival but I'm expecting them to fit perfectly.

I also ordered a black vinyl whip a few days ago but haven't received it yet:

http://www.vapornation.com/color-whip-tubing.html

Here's a link for some glass elbows as well. I haven't order any of these but probably will soon. I believe 19mm is the size that would fit:

Also some sweet stickers:

my intent is to plasti dip it a blue color match the led and to give it a cool look :)
I was thinking hobby lobby or something like that might have something. .

http://arizer.com/store/en/arizer-parts/39-glass-heater-cover-assembly-new-model.html

I wouldn't use plasi dip on the f/f adapter
Don't think it was made to be heat safe or inhaled.

The adapter should have a screen in the center, it's how it was designed to work The original cyclone bowl does.
As for the wand just pack it slightly with finger If it's the same as the elbow pack. Do you use an EQ screen in the wand?

I don't use an eq screen in the wand - all my original eq screens are gone, glass broke so I upgraded to this stuff.

I ordered some screens for the adapter though, so if I pack the wand with my finger like you say, I think I should be good to go? Thanks a lot for clarifying this.
