Huge Clouds with little effort! ( minus the minor button inconsistency ) Its like my Persei's on STEROIDS!! HAHA LOL :leaf: , small tube, Same Great Results!!:tup: Like I stated before the Look and Feel of this thing is Awesome, nice Heft. Again Nice work gary, count me in on button fix

Thank you guys! I thought it was just flashing red but as I look closer it is flashing red and green. I will pick up one of those chargers. Thanks for the info and advice!

Tolerance variation. I'm sure some could need more "squishing" than others to get the same overall diameter.

That said I finally got off my ass and ordered a 1701 to try as well as a replacement KISS Globe and some Ti coils to play with.

Anyone have input on the Ti cores for the glove versus the standard ones?

Didn't notice too much of a difference, I feel better using Ti GR2 versus the NiCr.

Hi, I just received a new Persei. As per the instructions, I began the initial charge with one battery...

I didn't notice that instruction, I charged my batteries both since the first charge, did I make a mistake? (they are working nice, even my stock batteries, I thought they was dead cause they was flashing red and somebody here told they was overcharged, but they are still working)

In case any one cares for the 1701 donut going into a kiss cart. I rebuilt one kiss cart with the 1701 ceramic donut. Works pretty good IMO. Taste is fantastic. Clouds are ok. Not a cloud chaser set up. I find it works best on the core around 4.2 volts or a little more. Kiss cart does get a little hot though.

Who can I pay to rebuild some 7.4ti2 coils for my globe? My doughnut ate the dust already not even 3 days.

@jpdnkstr thank you , will try tonight after work:),@clukx , I will try to post a video over next few days, though i've never done that, I will try! I personally LOVE the original E.O. Carts. I use them most days as my drivers. I love my Herc 71, but it's a beast and needs feeding often, so I haven't used it much( OIL Expensive here), waiting on getting a vac chamber and go back to making my own medicine so I can FEED MY 71. LOL:rockon:

Okeanos question, gentlemen. How do I go about cleaning the very bottom plate? I mean the part that the kiss cart screws into and that screws into the Persei? Can I soak the whole thing In ISO?

I usually just get a towel soaked with ISO and wipe it clean. It seems like ISO is safe for the bottom but can't be too sure. Maybe G can confirm ?

That's what I've been doing so far, but the problem is I managed to get oil down in the threading where the KISS cart screws in. I could use a Q-Tip and ISO but just soaking the whole thing would be much easier.

@DieHard Since you are our resident expert, I have a rebuild question for you. My KISS rebuild kit should arrive today and I was wondering what number of loops your using for both 3.7v and 7.4v carts. What over/under are you doing for each voltage. Thanks in advance!

i do 5 over 4 under with 26gauge kanthal for 3.7v. usually comes out to about 1.6-1.8ohm

LOL Im a fucking dunce. I didnt realize the 1701 was just a heater core, AND I failed to order a new KISS globe when I recently placed an order with W9 (lol so I ended up with 2 spare globe heaters and a 1701 but no actual globe). I DO have some OG KISS carts about tho. I hear you can put the 1701 in those?

FML...

So, I guess I was hoping the KISS rebuild kit would come with some sort of instructions but no such luck. Anybody use one of these official kits to rebuild a cart? I've installed pre-made wick and wire setups that I got from SleepinginCA but this kit looks different. For example I have no idea what to do with these little couplers or why there are two different sorts of wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's.... interesting. I fried mine with my core accidentally on 7.4v the second I got it and am going to get a rebuild kit to fix it. Now I'm thinking I'll rebuild this one in a kiss cart and just order another donut. I would love to try it in the okeanos. Nice one dude.

Last night I tried the kiss with 1701 donut on the Okeanos. Works good at 4.4v. Good flavor!! You get nice smooth vapor. U have to hold the button a while. Hammer top handy for this. You won't get huge clouds however. At least me. Slow long draw works.

@ED421 for my rebuilds , I use NiChrome 80 wire. For 7.4v, I go 5/4 (over/ under) with 32ga wire. This makes a very hot cart that likes the button to be pulsed. I have used the same gauge wire for 3.7v but the heat-up time is longer. I also use 36 gauge wire for 3.7v. Same number of wraps.
I did get the rebuild kit but I have not used it yet. I will have to try this weekend. In the kit you have two different wires. The one on the spool is the Ti. This wire should be wound on the wick with long enough "legs" left on the coil so that they protrude from the ceramic cup long enough to attach to the other wires (the short lengths are non-resistance wire that will not heat.). The tiny brass ferrules are to be used for joining together the two types of wire. Just slide over both wires and crimp with pliers (careful not to over-do the crimping. The thing is tiny!)
Hope this Helps.
Edit: KISS Globe coils can be rebuilt this way as well.

Thanks @DieHard ! I'm not sure what gauge this Ti wire is but it supposedly works for both 3.7v and 7.4v. I was going to try 5/4 for the 7.4v but I'm not sure about the 3.7v. Do you think I should try 4/3 or 3/2?
