Great Scott!
Looks like cheap ceramic compared to the EO core. I'd assume its lower quality but thats based on my amateur eyeballs.

The ceramic looks SO very visibly different. I can't imagine thermovape did the R&D and picked the worse of the 2 styles either, so I'm wondering whats worse about this kind that they can sell so cheap.

Hey, be sure that was never a TV product nor was it ever tested unless from the days before T1.

The reason it's so cheap is it's e-cig parts.......no doubt in the land of cheap labor and few standards.

I'd pass. If you want to play with that sort of stuff, Delta 9 (KISS cart), and Dabbler come to mind. Both offer Titanium elements as well, if that's your thing?

SO I THINK IM GOING WITH THE HERCULES SR-74. I DONT WANT TO BUY AN EXPENSIVE PERSEI BATTERY. WHAT OTHER 7.4V BATTERY CAN I BUY. I KNOW I WLL HAVE TO GET A 601 TO 510 ADAPTER IF NECESSARY. PLEASE ADVISE MY FRIENDS!

My advise would be to just go with the persei or a mechanical mod. You wont find a 510 battery with electronics thats capable of handling the hercules. At least that i am aware of

How about the Provari? It pretty much handles every other cartridge I've ever tried on it. I am hoping to get the Provari V3 in the near future. It happens to be a very sweet MOD

think again :ko:
looks like it works good to me
Im pretty sure @kushcabbage has to be using them with the 3.7V rod. Dont get me wrong, i loved the 3.7V rod but i was in the minority and it takes some work and patience to get used to.

The majority prefer the 7.4V hercules (with the iris VV top it is unbeatable) but like i mentioned i doubt youll find a capable handle with electronics in it that can handle the hercules at 7.4 V besides the persei or a mechanical top

build your own

7.4V LIPO battery $10
2S Lithium LiPo Battery Balance Charger $8

this is all you need to supply an sr-74 the needed voltage and vape, and if you want to be able to hold it,

add
Hammond 1590G (enclosure) $10.51
Keystone 1048 (battery sled if using 2x 18650 instead of lipo pack) $5.87
E-switch PV2 (pushbutton switch) $5.38
FatDaddy (510 Connector) $4.99

Here is one I built for this purpose using 2x 18650 in series for 7.4v, I added a low voltage indicator LED that lets me know when it's time to recharge, it was less than $40 to make.

Those buttons are only rated for 2 amps so I hope you did your maths right, I know if it gets too hot they can weld themselves in the "on" position as it's happened before with boxmods using 2A switches (for ecig use).

You are correct the switch itself is only rated for 2amps, however the n-channel MOSFET shrinkwrapped above the batts (which handles all the current) is rated for 195amps, but I purposely left that detail out to see if anyone was paying attention :ninja:

The Cera LL cart fits and works on Luna. However the Luna gets hot pretty quick. OK for a couple of quick hits, but otherwise about the time you really get to enjoying it it gets too hot to keep using....... Looks kinda funny, but works fine.

I think the real market was E-cigs (remember TV hadn't made e-cig stuff since before Cera.....those guys were screaming) and of course the EO core (same core as on Cera).

SO the LL cart works on the LUNA but does it run into the same sort of issues that the EO carts do when they are not shimmed properly to the body of the LUNA? I am trying to figure out what to do with my LUNA as i only got it with one EO cartridge (which is already in need of a rebuild)

LL and EO carts are identical in the connectors (they use exactly the same parts). LL cart fit has to be right, same as EO.
