Jack of all trades, partaker of vape
You know what i find with the nano? I am continuously vaping. Rather than spreading my sessions over the course of an evening, i find myself emptying and immediately reloading and carrying on the session. I never get that 'got to get this done in nn minutes' anxiety. It's more akin to drinking wine. Just reach over and take a sip. And in actuallity, i use the same quantity of material . Excellent for maintaining your preferrred altitude. I love my nano. I love FC.

I'm gonna try that double screen thing @Jahannum ! Does it noticeably cut down airflow?

It does after a day of frequent use, hence why I change my screens daily. I also swab the flowers side of the screen with a Q-Tip after each load. I clean all my screens once a week, it takes literally 5 minutes to clean them all to a like new state.

Doing all of this gives me a very thick glowing honey completely free of plant particulate lining the bottom half inside of my GonG. Swab that with a little cotton, and turn my E-Nano up to 8. It is a most enjoyable experience!

She is back!!!! Andy has completely replaced the innards(including shiny new metal) She is warming as I type. Wonder if I will have to move my sweet spot!!! Andy also threw in a new stem. Nice Bloke that he is!!! Is it wrong that I took a half day annual leave so I could play with her? hehe EDIT- I dunno how andy has done it but my sweet spots are exactly the same as b4 and I am fallin in love all over again........it has made me realise that the solo just doesn't cut it as an everyday driver.

Nice to see someone get a little extra something for their pain and suffering. My nano quit on day six, I sent it in thinking I might get a little something extra back because it failed so quickly, I got nothing not even a sticker, or extra e-pic (was hoping for a stem). Oh we'll, just disappointing to see the customer service all over the place for such a nice product. It took them a couple days to get my nano from the post office after it was shipped to epic vape, I guess no one was there when they tried to deliver, on a business day. Sorry if I sound bitter. :nope:

Sorry if I disagree but I don't think anyone should ever expect free gear and stickers as part of "customer service".

Was your unit fixed/replaced in a timely manner and under warranty? In all honestly that's really all that needs to be done in order for EpicVape customer service to be above average IMO.

@Caligula , I see your point, and I was ok at first with not receiving an extras, however when I see other people get stuff, it upsets me a little bit, I still love my nano, but I would just like to see a little more equality with epicvapes customer service protocols.

@Reflections , wow I did not know that, I guess I can ease up and give him a little slack on things. I can't believe this hasn't turned into a full time gig for him yet.

You left out a couple of important words at the end- 'for me'. The Solo cuts it just fine for a lot of people.

In other words, everyone should get free accessories with every repair, or if you don't get a freebie, then you'd prefer that nobody does. Why not be happy for fregglepops instead? He's across the pond and his shipments cost more.

Yes, that is pretty much what I would want, is that really as bad of a thing as you make it seem? I'm not trying to hate on fregglepops, infact I said " it's nice to see someone get something for their pain and suffering". I thought epic vape paid for shipping on warranty issues anyway, but if they don't pay for shipping out of United States, then I totally understand and am sorry for my rant. I don't want to argue at all over this matter, I love my nano, and I love FC, so I won't comment anymore on this subject. Happy vaping everyone! :)

If you're soliciting opinions on the matter, I'd say yes. But that's just like... my opinion, man.

That said, I've got a Nano related question for @ACE OF VAPE ... i recall you say something about working on a glass frit style screen for concentrates. Any movement on that?

Your point of view is understandable. It's human nature. I think getting something (of value) extra with a repair or replacement is a nice touch if there's been a problem with the service, for some reason, but I don't think the rest of us have any business judging who deserves a freebie and who doesn't. We usually don't have enough info to judge, and we're usually not that objective about it either. I would certainly hope (and assume) that included extras are not just random, like 'this guy gets a free stem 'cause I'm in a good mood today'.

I thought epic vape paid for shipping on warranty issues anyway
The industry standard (and I mean any product you have to ship in for warranty svc.) is for the buyer to pay return shipping to the manuf. or svc. center, and the manuf. in turn pays the shipping when the repaired/replaced item is returned to the owner. There are exceptions, but this is the way it works in most cases.

Personally, I don't post when I have a problem with a vape maker or dealer, as long as it's not a trend, since I feel like it's most likely just a mistake (maybe even the fault of UPS or USPS), and don't want others to judge the company negatively on the basis of my particular (and hopefully isolated) issue. I also try not to post on any freebies I get either, since as in this case, it can make others unhappy that they didn't get one with their repair. While it's nice to praise the company for doing something extra, it can also produce envy.

Bottom line for me-life ain't fair, so don't sweat the small stuff.
I don't even know wtf I'm talking about.
No news there. ;)

Of course I should have put for me. I apologise for any offence I caused earlier. Can I just say that yes I got a free stem, and (I maybe should have said) a wee note from Andy apologising for holding onto it for so long. I assume he did this because my nano had a fault that he had never seen before. My nano had to be retrieved by Andy too as he wasn't there(since found out he has another job). More I think about it it was probably cause i'm a persistent bugger and he figured that it'd keep me happy and therefore off his back for a bit.(JOKE) edit caught up properly now.........wish i'd kept ma pus shut!!!(uk members will mibee translate) I'm out........sorry edit number 2 here(testing nano makes brain go broke) As it was an issue Andy hadn't seen before he offered to pay for postage but I opted to send it special delivery so I paid it myself.........golly gosh some folk are bitter:worms:

Ok...vaped and drinks tonight, so please forgive the (potentially) stupid question. Wait...I thought there were no stupid questions. Alas, I digress.:myday: CRS disease. Please excuse.

I have a Nano GonG. I want to use the reclaim. It's got plastic/silicone on it (f'ing awesome feature I must say)! Love not burning the fingers!

Do I slide off the plastic? Is there a better method?

For other users of the stock gong. I am finding the screen looks clear but the airflow has effectively stopped in my gong. I can get a couple hits out of it to clear up the airflow for a couple more bowls but then it's stick again.

I would normally clean the screen in this case but I can't scrape anything off the top or bottom of the screen? So I don't know where The air lock is coming from

I don't have an epick or whatever so I wasn't too excited about removing a screen.
