Hello FC! Thank you to everyone for participating these past months on the thread and for your feedback, you guys have helped make this past year very successful and we look forward to announcing the new products we have planned (including the next generation LiquidizerX)!

The first is that EJmix is now available in a smaller 15ml size. Based on feedback from retailers we decided a smaller size for under $20 would allow more potential users to "give it a try" and purchase their first bottle.

Also we're pleased to share that we've updated our instructions based on feedback from FC members. In particular we've modified the instructions on the bottle to specify that users should first heat up the EJmix and then add the concentrate, rather than heating up the concentrate first.

Finally we've added a new easy mixing technique discover by a team member on the road. Take 1 gram of extract and 1 ml of EJmix, add to shot glass or oil vial, and microwave on high for 10 seconds. If after 10 seconds a bit more heat is needed, microwave for 5 more seconds but no more! This technique has worked for us every time and is our new default method of mixing.

We'll have more news for you in the coming weeks, our website is working but we're in the process of an upgrade, in the meantime both 50ml and 15ml EJmix are available on Amazon. If you enjoy EJmix and would like to support us, please leave our products positive Amazon Customer Reviews and we'll truly be very grateful. Thanks again!

Has anybody had success using a cheapo top coil CE4 clearomizer like http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-10-C...934?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3391b7961e this one with EJMix? Taste is not of great importance compared to budget, rather just wanna know that it will wick correctly. I've read that many bottom coil clearos leak easily due to negative pressure or something.

I use these with regular ecig juice with minimal leaks for what its worth and it works great.

I just tried that with a gram of crumble. It worked great. I put the EJmix in a pyrex beaker and heated it for 5 seconds (700 watt oven). Then added the crumble (broke it up and started mixing it) then heated for 10 seconds. I stirred the mix vigorously. I think due to the crumbly nature I still has some undissolved wax (very small bits) so I gave it another 5 seconds and more stirring. There are still a few little particles, but I loaded it up and will give it a go tomorrow. In terms of melting and mixing it could not be easier. Thanks for the great tip!

Dear FC community! It is with great excitement that we make our first announcement regarding…
(drum roll)
… our next generation extractor due out in 2015!

It is a project of love that has been in the works for months and gone through numerous redesigns in order to achieve maximum functionality.

The motivation to create the LiquidizerX was hearing back from our customers that they are ready to move on to larger extractions. One example was a hookah lounge owner creating his own shisha with extracts, and a six inch tube was not enough for more than a few friends. Then, as users became creative with different herbs, their wide range of oil content (the oil in one gram of powder cinnamon is ten times the amount of oil in dried basil) made different extraction tube sizes inevitable.

In world with a growing number of extraction tubes sizes, designs and options, we wanted to create something truly radical: a 100% universal modular extractor.

The LiquidizerX delivers the following:
  • Compatible with ALL extraction tubes: holds any tube from 6"-24" long and from 1/2" to 2 1/2" in diameter
  • Modular design allows use of additional parts from "expansion sets" to increase the height of the extractor to even hold tubes over 6 feet tall
  • Modular design also allows you to grow the extractor laterally allowing for multiple tubes and multiple cans to be extracted simultaneously (up to 3, 6, 9, 12 or more tubes/cans at once)
  • Compatible with ALL solvent can sizes and brands
  • Can be taken apart in minutes and fits in the same Liquidizer box
We understand you may be wondering how something in such a small package can offer so much scalability and functionality, as the LiquidizerX is very different from anything else on the market. While we can’t show it quite yet, we can say that the LiquidizerX is a lot like a Lego set for adults - only you are building extraction stands instead of block towers. :)

Look forward to keeping you guys posted! We'll put up photos as soon as possible.

Greetings! What is the recommended wicking material for EJmix? I have tried readyxwick but it keeps turning black after 1 good rip? Cotton literally burned. Help me out here );

Anything that wicks really, EJM is to thin it out to work with ecigs. If it's turning black it may be your concentrate? Higher quality = less residuals. It can get to a point where nothing is left behind but that requires extra processing, as in winterizing or dewaxing. Plant waxes will make nails and stuff turn black from the residue. I believe with RXW you can just dry-burn the coil back to white.

Hey man thanks for the quick reply. I have been mixing up my juice at a 1:1 ratio and it worked fine in my mini protank 3. However when I upgraded to a mech mod with a beastly 22 gauge coil I started encountering this blackening issue. Get 1 massive rip then my RXW turns blackish and I have to dry burn back to white. Gonna try a 28 gauge coil at higher ohms next and see if the issue still persists.

Wow.... Long thread- just finished reading it. Halfway through reading this thread I ordered some EJ mix
And purchased 2 Kangertech Aerotank minis

I've tried O.pens and they never really got me medicated- so I was sure that using my own potent purchased oils extracts and EJ mix would work... But its actually the same as the O.pen-

I used 1 gram of refined CO2 oil by ogfarms- 35 drops of EJmix- mixed perfectly and for what I know vaped fine.... The oil is supposedly 75+% and on its own does knock the shit out of me... I mean I can't even talk after 3-4 small hits off an atmos jewel coil....

I get medicated for 10-15 min and then it disappears... Comes on strong and quickly fades-

Is it me? Or is this how It supposed to work - will try more concentrates but would like to know if anyone else has experienced this?

I have some equally strong BHO oil I would like to try with EJMIX but wanted to post the question first....

but my momma said
I've experienced it, it's the main reason I stopped buying the o.pen carts, well that and a lot of leakage.

Can you tell me a little about why your EJmix is better than just using 100% USP PG? Is the EJmix the same thickness as PG? I don't know much about PEG; does it alter the solubility of natural herbal oils compared to pure PG?

Oh, and I agree 100% with you that vaping just enough oil to satisfy you in a single session (by applying 1 or 2 drops worth, say 3 or 4 or 5 hits) and then cleaning the wick/coil before applying more oil for the next session, provides the best tasting and acting hits for the life of the carto. Though in that application a plain atty could probably serve the same purpose. On the other hand, a properly selected bottom coil carto, loaded with say 1.0g of herbal oil, as long as the waxes have been removed (winterized), will provide hundreds of hits without the wick/coil clogging and without horrible burning taste. If you like, I can suggest a carto you might want to check out that works really really well with very thick oil (way thicker than VG, for example).

Also, thanks to nopartofme's pointer to your web site, I read your whole operation manual, and I commend you for not only making a complex and dangerous procedure easy to understand and safe to perform, but I didn't find anything at all to even mildly disagree with (which is very rare for me :)). Your documentation is wonderful, and I recommend highly that anyone wanting to understand how to extract and enjoy essential oils read it. Your advanced topics, including winterizing, are a delight to read.

Thanks, and welcome to FC.
What carto would you recommend?

Check out the "Best Clearo for Pure Gold" thread in the Concentrates section. I'm currently using a mini protank 3, but there are a few good choices.

Recieved my full setup last week super quick delivery to the Uk, quickest Ive ever recieved any package from the usa. Arrived before my butane and everclear alternative, frustrating seeing it sit there.

Which got me thinking, I've got a mason jar full of ISO which I clean all my glass vape gear in, it's been in there for ages and the solution is as black as coal. If I poured it through the extraction tube and mesh and then evaporated the fluid off would I be able to mix it with the ej mix and vape in my kanger? Or would it be a health risk??

Something with good wicking and that can handle higher power is probably the best choice. I haven't seen it mentioned in the thread, but the Aspire BVC would be a good one to try and can go up to 15W. The new Atlantis has a sub-ohm oil with massive wicking and supports up to 50W+ so it may be even better. I'm going to order a bottle of EJmix and try it out with both and report back.

Sorry, don't know anything about this product... but do know a bit about straight QWISO and skillet carts. . .

Depends on how much plant mater was cleaned up with vap resin as other users have mentioned excessive plant waxes and particles are problematic (burns too dirty).... so it would probably be best to completely evaporate iso and give a small scraping a test burn on something very clean, a just cleaned dab rig is recommended. ... Guess you could use a knife or pate or whatever, just please don't in hail off aluminum foil.

edit 2: if is too dirty your can always "wash" that extraction. Meaning extract the extraction.... but be remember you really need to purge the heck out of those solvents if your not using pure ethonal.

Best of luck.

Edit: also depends on what plastics were exposed to iso and how long, though probably not enough to really matter that much. Something to think about though, alcohol does tend to dissolve and brake down a LOT of different plastics... Just ask car manufactures! Lol, jk. Sort of.

Thanks for the response slatihe good thinking with the test burn if it's no good I'll use it to make a pain relieving ointment for my mum. It's taking a long time to evaporate so I reckon it will be a couple of days before it's ready for a test burn

Thanks. I have tried several different...systems...I like the vivi nova s with the BVC, but got to keep it upside down or it floods, but it works. I actually just finished sanding down the chimney on a new kanger 1.5 ohm head, it goes right up inside the tube of the vivi nova and its a little air-ier...I'm hoping that will help with the flooding, plus that k head only has 2 holes. For anyone curious it fits perfectly, very nice and snug, you have to screw the head in pretty tight to make that positive connection, but it works. I like the protanks and minis but I'm just turned off by all that framework in those.
I have decided that a genesis tank with ceramic or ss wick has got to be the way to go for vaping liquid concentrates in a tank. If anyone is doing this with a mod and Genny Atty I would love to hear. When I get back from vacay I am going to spring for a hybrid mod, I really like the convict hybrid, maybe the fogatti-22, macaveli, even the ihybrid pure looks nice-- anyone using any of these or mod/genesis Atty to vape concentrates PLEASE give a shout out...I'm convinced it will work...I'd sure love any thoughts/suggestions/opinions on that

I've noticed this as well. I actually heard that pg and peg do something to the THC, but I can't find any info on that one way or the other. It definitely works--but think about the dabs of oil you do say get you ripped. How long does that last? And if you imagine it diluted...well anyway I think the vape high is just different. More ethereal, like...am I high? Also I know that vaping nic liquid is different than smoking a cig. The chemistry of how stuff gets into your body is different, and while vaping nic liquid does impart nicotine, the delivery/absorption is different. I would love anyone with any science to share on this to pipe in.

Hi sethrobin,

i use the standard resistances (single coil with wicks sticking out in the miniPT2, and dual coil in the Aerotank with the latest version of wicks not sticking out).

I take ~50 puffs / day. Day one and two are ok, day three, it leaks.
It's always the same thing for the past 6 months... Just my ratio is 1 part EJMIX / 1 parts concentrate.

Maybe my EJuice is too diluted ?
I've had the same problem and I am SO right there with you on the mod/genesis atyy. Will you please let me know how it works? I'm looking at hybrid mods...convict, fogatti-22, like that. Its all I need, I dont need a battery for other things or to be able to change attys, just one good stick that works right. I've got really high hopes for the convict hybrid mod. Anxious to hear how it goes with you. I've gone from kanger to aspire back to kanger, looked at "the big dripper v2", the same problem they all flood/leak...its gravity...I carry them upside down much better but still lose some out the drip tube...

So, I've read this whole thread, and thank you, @Liquidizer, this is what I've been looking for since for ever. The Pinacle Pro is stealthy, but not stealthy enough. Do you ship to Europe?

I should try doing some extractions before the extreme winter sets in. For now, I'm considering some QWISO runs, which I am also new to, but nothing this forum can't teach me :brow:

I was wondering if any one have had any luck extracting from old school hashes? @boomshanker wrote about using charras, how did that go? I'm thinking of using high end Morrocan hash.

And it also struck me, would it be possible to dilute straight up old school hash in the EJMix? I know most of you, my fellow US and Canada canna brethren, won't be able to answer this, but it's worth asking. Traditional hashes tend to have more plant matter relative to the active ingredients, but it's still a concentrate (the original one hehe), so would this be possible at all with a little experimentation or am I barking up a dead tree here? :ugh:

Where I'm at proper high end strains is rather expensive, where as good hashes are rather cheap and modern concentrates are virtually unknown.

Any one happy with the outcome of ABV runs, or is this more of a novelty thing?

I live in a city center, but in the summer time I can just go into the mountains and extract in peace. In the winter though... That is why I would love blending a already made concentrate like the hash with the EJmix.

TIA and happy vaping!
Here in Colorado is a candy store of concentrates, just today I was telling my friend I would kill for some good ol green chunky hash, or some Moroccan style. I guess I'll look into making it... I like our concentrates, but something about that old school stuff the high is just a little more...rounded...anyway. Can I ask, what is ABV? And have you considered qwet? I believe its safe indoors? No open flame...or there is a u tube method that's just decarbing the weed and basically just soaking it/slow cooking it in pg or VG...that can be done in your kitchen safely.

Just to verify... People are successfully using EJ MIx created liquid in normal tanks like Kanger Protank Mini and similar? The Liquidizer folks seem to think you need to use your e-juice only with their proprietary EJ Vape that necessitates reloading every few hits.
Nah, I think they say you can use your own carto....in a sense they are right tho, its not their device that is superior but the method, basically dripping. Every single tank on the market at this point leaks to some degree. I've used old and new coil heads from kanger and aspire-- they work, they Vape, but the wicks are saturated with liquid and gravity pulls the liquid out through the air holes. Is it not that simple? It seems to be the #1 issue with e cigs. The leak, the flood. No different for mj liquid, right? I see all the coils working fine, the new kanger 1.5 ohm, the 1.8 ohm aspire bvc... They work great for me personally. But they're meant to wick the juice and vaporize it, not store it. If you had a building with a flat roof, and it had water standing on it, and you took a towel and laid one end in the water and the other end you hung over the edge of the roof, eventually all the water touching the towel would be absorbed and transported by the towel, over the side and down. It would wick away the water. The wicks in these coil heads are really no different. I've had good luck carrying upside down ...

@severalmore ABV = Allready Been Vaped aka vaped weed.

I have started to do some QWISO runs since that was posted, and I must say it is easier to get a good end result with buds/trims, than with hash.

I still don't know how long I should wash the hash in ISO. The last time I think I overdid it, but WOW it tasted good. Pure Moroccan hash flavour!

Ahh..OK, cool. Thanks. I said somewhere else how I live in Colorado and have access to all the fancy concentrates here, and would kill for some nice Moroccan or even chinky brown green hash. I think with all of the concentrates, the high is pretty hard and fast, I honestly remember the old pinhead/glass on top hash dabs, and I think that high was even better. Just more rounded somehow. That said...I was "smoking it", and everything I vaporize from flower to concentrate, the high is just very different from when I burn it.
I'm curious why qiso seems to remain so much more popular than qwet. Can anyone explain? Is the qiso product that much better? Or is it just the ease and affordability of iso vs ethanol? Ever clear is readily available to me, and there's the kleen extract available now-- I'm just really curious. Qwet seems such a much simpler and safer process. I will ho to that forum/discussion, and I have flipped through it, mostly it seems a detail of eash and not so much why one or the other. Like why would you wash abv stuff with iso when you could use ethanol? Even if only because one you could in theory safely ingest, the other not so much. Does iso work a ton better?
