I ordered my second Haze v3, in black today. I love this unit and can't get enough. I'm going to use my first gen for my water pipes. After jimmy riggin a little set up for water I can't stop using it. I can't wait for Ed to send me the WonG so I can get a real WA for my Haze. But this is still fun!!!

Haha what ever works, innovation on the fly is respectable.......thanks for the video. That looked really smooth and tasty.

Yea you can milk the shit out of the Haze lol the warranty is great but honestly u may not use it too much n that's a good thing! It just shows how confident they are in their product. Wait until u deal with their customer service, if u decide to purchase or if u have any questions I'm sure they would be glad to help. IMO it's the best CS I've delt with for any product not just vapes.

@scottg402 lol thanks for telling me to wait for the black I do like it! I just couldn't resist an updated version. My original is still goin like a champ, so i didn't see me sending it in anytime soon lol so I figured I just had to cough up the cash lol and if u wanted to have the same temp set up it cost me 75 cents for 2 o-rings, till u get ur WonG.

@ean yea I agree about the cans but I'm defiantly getting some of the new ones. A faster heat up means it's more efficient and longer lasting batteries, I would assume. But a drop in price is always nice

Would you please elaborate more about this "black" "updated version" "new cans" where is this new information found? Thank you.

damn thats some THICK vapor for a portable...the 10 year warranty has me almost hook line and sinker here...Im really tempted to invest in this device...

@llamaman001 I was thinking the same thing as you my friend.
I wish I would have purchased a Haze way sooner than I had, but I'm glad to have the newest Haze V3.

I cannot attest to how the previous versions worked, I can say I am more than satisfied with my Haze!

I was waiting for a long time for a solid dual purpose unit, and this is it.
As recommended by everyone on this thread, (THANK YOU EVERYONE!), I use the cans for oil and herb.
They do a fantastic job with both, and keep the unit nice and clean!

The Haze is also smaller than you would think, and the accessories you get with it are fantastic!

if its got the docs approval Im all over it, we are like minded in terms of our vaporizers! Im going to purchase one directly from them so I never have to worry about any warranty issues. Possibly next week!

Has anyone timed how long it takes to reach each setting when the battery is performing good?

Yes Sir!

The Haze takes almost exactly 1 minute to reach temp #4 although sometimes less (depends on charge state of battery).
I never used temp #1 so not sure but probably less than 30 seconds.

Temps 3 & 4 take less than a minute to heat up (45-60 seconds).

@llamaman001 IMHO, I believe you will truly enjoy the Haze!

The updated cans are going to be made with a different alloy that heats up faster than the old cans. There is no date on their release but hopefully it's soon. As far as colors, they're on the site: black, blue, green, and purple.

Edit:
Also when I say "updated version" I'm talk about the most recent units. The original Haze, like I own had the blinking feedback lights when it reheats after each hit, the silicone oven top w/o the ss tops and I believe they beefed up the hinges since the original. So the updated versions have the new SS tops on the oven, blinking lights only on heat up and the upgraded hinges. If I missed anything please add

Guys I have both units and will be making some comparisons when I have some time. I have a side by side picture of the old door caps and the new. I will get that up as soon as I can (for sure by this weekend).

I will give specifics later but let's just say the heatup time is significantly improved in the current version over the OG model. I liked the old one just fine but the new one just rocks!

Edit: For clarification the dark color out now is graphite, not black. I suggested a stealth black model but nothing on that yet. @NickDlow you know you are getting the color you used to have right? But it is a new version which I am sure you will enjoy.

Any recommendations on the best place/customer service to get one of these online? That green version is starting to wear on me, even though my favorite color is blue.

@ichibaneye I would purchase one directly from Haze IMO.

This way you are sure you have the latest and greatest model.

I'm sure stores still have the older versions in stock so you might not get the new version with all the upgrades.

Also the people at Haze are fantastic and their customer service is awesome!

Agreed!! Go through haze directly and deal with their CS it's great. But even if u order from Haze, VaporizerUSA will be shipping it to u. They are the main supplier for Haze. I still ordered mine from the haze site directly I recommend the same.

Also sorry to kill ur spirit they may be out of green at the moment. When I ordered mine they told me black, blue, and purple are in stock. But maybe u will have better luck.

So I am also wondering if any of you use any other vaporizer now that you have the Haze? I am curious as I have decided to purchase the Haze at the end of the month or...........cross my fingers, eyes, and toes that my girlfriend gets it for my birthday mid month.

O.k. So I was also thinking about getting one of the larger pen-esk type portables, what do you all think about the Yocan vaporizer? Coming all from and made in China I am guessing it has some unhealthy sub-par metals or parts. Review on it however has been great and compared to some other higher priced vaporizers. Thoughts/comments?

On another note, the Haze frame looks to be constructed of some type of polymer, I would be willing to pay extra money if Haze gave customers the ability to design a color scheme that is applied to the one they ordered. That being said once I find out what it is made of I am going to start checking into getting it's color more customized.

This is one of the shortest threads I have read from the first page to the last...............but it is my favorite thread. Cheers!!

The yocan is more like an electric pipe. it involves a heating coil that cumbusts your herbs. I have a Haze as well as a Pax. ever since i got the haze i haven't even picked my pax back up.

I also have a pax along with my haze. My girl prefers her pax over the haze because of simplicity. Plus she doesn't mess with concentrates. I do use my pax, but only at work. You can't beat the pax's stealth and simplicity. So when I need a quick session w/o anyone knowing I bust out my pax. If I'm just relaxing or going for a drive or whatever the haze never leaves my side
